Wir waren in unserem Urlaub fast jeden Abend dort, die Inhaber sind supernett, wir haben uns immer willkommen gefühlt.
Alle unsere Getränke (Poncha, O-Saft oder Cocktail) wurden immer frisch zubereitet.
Das Essen (auch immer frisch zubereitet) war sehr lecker (wir hatten Burger, das Steak- und Tunasandwich)

23/03/2024: Nice food, not the best curry in Funchal but decent for the money, especially if you can get a discount through the Taxi app!
Lamb korma was delicious, chicken tikka masala was disappointing and just tasted like tomato soup.
We went at 8:30pm on a Saturday evening and there was only one other couple in the whole restaurant which made for an extremely quiet and slightly awkward dinner.
Be aware that if you sit by the window the window ledges are crawling with bugs which ended up all over our table at the end of the evening.

07/12/2024: The concept meal is now €64.95, more than any of the others we use in Funchal. There is no amuse bouche nor sorbet between courses. The starters were lacking in flavour, even requiring salt on my wife’s prawn and avocado. The beef wellingtons were not rare but medium rare. The mushroom duxelles were good though. The crème brûlée was over cooked and my pannacotta was not silky smooth but grainy in texture. The wine was good but not free flowing until we were ready to leave.
A disappointing meal for my birthday.
It’s a shame because we have been coming to this restaurant in all its varying forms for over 20 years. I’m sure a lot of people have had excellent food and service here but not us, this time.

02/10/2024: Staff incompetent and arrogant, not a good combination. We were brought the wrong drinks and despite us sending them back they returned the same drinks insisting that they were correct. It is clear that they don’t know or even care about how to make classic cocktails

11/07/2024: Dopo diversi giorni di colazione deludente, finalmente ci siamo imbattuti in questo delizioso locale. Personale cortese, cibo buonissimo e locale molto curato.
Finalmente la giornata riparte con il piede giusto, consigliatissimo!!!

05/07/2024: Este es un encantador bar y bistró en los terrenos del hotel Quinta the Casa Branca. La vista a través de los jardines es atractiva. La comida era generalmente bastante buena. No es barato, pero la relación calidad-precio es decente. Nos cobraron mucho más por el vino - y cuando lo desafiamos nos dijeron que era “un error informático” - ¡así que revise su factura cuidadosamente!

Las luces de Navidad estaban encendidas en todas partes absolutamente magníficas.
La vista desde nuestro crucero espectacular.
Un lugar obligado para visitar.
