23/09/2024: This is a small local restaurant tucked in the back of Vilamoura.Very busy at lunchtime with tables pre booked, Walked in, second visit, food great, excellent value with snacks and authentic food.Small swimming pool area( not seen used)gear place for lunch or dinner if you want to be away from the glitz and expense of the marina would recommend and will re visit

El local no tenía aíre acondicionado por lo que hacía calor .
En mi opinión es un sitio más recomendable para ir a cenar que para comer,por el tipo de carta que tiene
30/09/2024: Last here May 2019. Same as before, great food and service. Fantastic value.
It's off the main tourist routes but still busy. I recommend getting here on 12.00 for lunch.
Between a couple, four tapas, bowl of olives a glass of wine and a bottle of water was fine for lunch and was only 21.60 euros.
We will be returning again.

15/09/2024: Be prepared to queue to get in this tiny place! They don't take bookings and close at 10pm so last orders are 9pm. Fantastic ambiance and food, just a big kitchen with a huge barbeque and everyone sitting cheek to jowl! Yes, it can be chaotic and the staff are family so not trained in 'customer service', check your bill as ours included the French couple sat beside us! It was all sorted out with much hand waving and laughter!

27/09/2024: During our recent stay at Pestana Palm Gardens, my family and I had the pleasure of often dining at Sal&Tal, and it was truly a delightful experience. The cuisine was outstanding; I highly recommend trying the octopus dish—it's absolutely divine! The risotto and another dishes were equally wonderful, bursting with flavour and perfectly cooked.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Additionally, the staff were incredibly polite and attentive, adding to the overall charm of the evening. I can’t recommend Sal&Tal enough for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!
04/09/2024: Desde o pequeno-almoço fantástico, as bebidas e os snacks à hora de almoço deliciosos e depois ao final do dia, um jantar com muito requinte e um sabor divinal, toda esta experiência só ficou ainda melhor com a simpatia e boa disposição dos empregados.
A experiencia foi excelente e se mais alguma vez ficar neste hotel, este restaurante é paragem obrigatória.

06/11/2024: Muy buena opción en el menú. Mi hermana, hija, nieto y yo llegamos alrededor de 5. 30 para cenar temprano. Tenía el filete de cerdo a la parrilla, los otros comían - monje - arroz de pescado con gambas, pollo a la parrilla, y filete de filete. Aunque todos estábamos llenos decidimos que nos gustaría disfrutar de un desierto cada uno - 2 crema catalana, tarta de limón y tarta de banoffee. Nos dieron una oportunidad de babor cada uno para terminar. El personal era eficiente y agradable. A un costo de 87 euros, incluyendo 3 copas de vino y una botella de agua creo que fue una buena relación calidad-precio y todos disfrutamos mucho de nuestra visita.
22/10/2024: Sin duda esta es una joya escondida, el servicio y el personal son impresionantes y la comida es tan razonable y sabrosa - la mayoría de los lugares en estos días cobran 4 euros por un café, pero aquí todavía pagas 1. 30 - los restaurantes más tradicionales deben seguir su ethos, en lugar de solo cobrar por la nariz por el agua y los refrescos.
Muy, muy recomendable.

27/10/2024: Amazing food in authentic atmosphere. In a modern resort, this restaurant feels like an authentic Portuguese taverna. Food was home cooked and tasty, Excellant value and a lovely place to come. Only a few euros in an Uber, so get yourself booked in…chop, chop.
05/10/2024: Lovely spot off the beaten track. Jose provides outstanding service in an atmosphere of understated ambiance. Fascinating menu with reasonable prices. Our group of 4 all had different entrees which were top notch.
Will definitely return.

Um sítio obrigatório para quem passa em Altura, não fazem reservas e a melhor hora para chegar é por volta das 11.45 ou então às 14h de qualquer forma vale a pena o tempo de espera

20/10/2024: Once we found this place we booked in every night until the end of our holiday- there is nowhere to beat it. Folk say its pricey, but every night we had the full Couvert - 2 x mains plus cheeseboard for 2, bottle of wine and couple beers for €85! What!! We couldn't believe our luck!
The food is truly excellent in a lovely setting. If we'd been here longer we'd have gone through the whole menu! As it was I had all the fish and hubby had steak. A delight of a place. There is no question about it, if you want great food, go here. Don't bother looking anywhere else
02/10/2024: Excellent restaurant. Beautiful food of the highest quality. Went Tuesday 1 October and by 8 pm the place was busy. Great value. Would definitely recommend it.

15/08/2024: We have eaten at O Tiago every year for the last seventeen years and have enjoyed it every time. The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly and always welcoming. Steak on the stone, prawns in garlic, and chicken and mushroom pie are all favourites of ours.
It is only a small place so it is best to book, particularly in summer months.
12/08/2024: Lovely little family run place. All the food is was delicious and freshly cooked, and the meat dishes all served with vegetables. Small selection of children’s dishes for the little ones. Probably only about 50 couverts, and it filled up very quickly (we’d reserved a table) - I dare say walk-ins would be disappointed in the Summer months.

The food is amazing with a varied menu. We opted for the Sea bass and lamb chops with profiteroles and ice cream dessert.
A very chilled and relaxing atmosphere with brilliant service and team. Will be visiting again before we go home.
Would definitely recommend to all

23/10/2024: Tuvimos buenas cenas aquí. Mucha verdura y ensalada y platos a base de carne. La comida se vende por peso, yo tampoco, así que si quieres ensalada o verdura, usa un plato diferente al de tu comida a base de carne. Ditto para postres. En otras palabras, use dos platos ya que el alimento no a base de carne es sustancialmente más barato que las comidas a base de carne. Mi esposa tenía 4 rebanadas de pizza y yo tenía cerdo stroganoff, un filete de salmón a la parrilla, un montón de verduras. Una cerveza grande y pequeña y una taza de café. La factura llegó a poco menos de 29€ en total. Buenas noches.
