15/10/2024: Always reliable & delicious. Parcel of Goats cheese & honey in filo pastry starter, or Duck Liver Pâté - delicious. Succulent Alentejo Pork Special - Melt in the mouth tender, nice sauce. Mojito too.I did not regret being adventurous!

29/09/2024: Ambiente: Für das kleine Ferragudo erscheint dieses Restaurant doch ein wenig touristisch. Portugiesisch mit Pizza? Auch ist die Bestuhlung ein wenig eng aufgestellt. Aber letztendlich kann mein einen entspannten Abend erleben. Essen: Das Couvert ist ebenfalls ziemlich touristisch. Die Paté kann man auch im Intermarché kaufen. Die Oliven gibt es im Supermarkt. Aber dann kam die Octopus-Cataplana. Und die war wirklich gut. Die Menge an Meeresfrüchten sucht seines Gleichen. Es kam mir so vor, als ob hier nicht nur ein Tintenfisch verarbeitet wurde. Auch die Süsskartoffeln waren hier ein geschmackliches Highlight. Cleverer Zug! Personal: sehr aufmerksam. Wir wurden immer wieder unaufdringlich nach unseren Wünschen gefragt. Preise: Für die Menge und letztendlich auch für die Qualität absolut sachgerecht. Fazit: Es gibt sicherlich authentischere Restaurants. Aber die Cataplana hat echt überzeugt.

15/10/2024: Carvoeiro has a number of good restaurants, but i would certainly recommend that you give this one a try. The food is excellent, the service is friendly yet professional. and the prices are very reasonable. We have been many times over the last few years, and every meal was enjoyable, but the fish cataplana last week was amazing.

01/10/2024: My daughter order Caesar salad and found a living creeping bug in her salad. Their response was very poor. Did not charge for the salad with a lot of ado but still charged for her drink and extras ordered. Disappointed with this basic failure in hygiene standards and with their subsequent response

Exceptional food and the loveliest, friendliest service - can’t recommend this restaurant enough, although we’d like to keep it as our little secret! We go frequently and although it is great for families, it’s also wonderful for couples too xx

09/07/2024: Siamo venuti apposta in questo locali, spinti dalle numerosi recensioni entusiaste. Beh, siamo rimasti delusi. 25€ un tapas per due che era di una tristezza rara, poca roba, male assortita e nemmeno lontanamente gustosa. Il vino annacquato è stato la goccia che ha fatto traboccare il vaso. Locale originale, ricco di alambicchi e con una splendida vista.

24/08/2024: Partiamo dal fatto che quello che sto recensendo per esperienza personale è il ristorante O’ Kokas, che probabilmente ha cambiato gestione e non si fa più chiamare Chico’s. Adesso passiamo alla parte interessante: questo ristorante si è dimostrato fantastico, innanzitutto abbiamo prenotato con The Fork ricevendo uno sconto del 30% su tutto il menù. La qualità del pesce fresco è stata altissima così come il modo di cucinare dello chef. Le porzioni letteralmente giganti, troppo abbondanti anche per delle buone forchette come noi. Mi è arrivato un baccalà lungo probabilmente mezzo metro (in foto non rende l’idea), cotto perfettamente e davvero tanto gustoso, probabilmente il migliore mai assaggiato fino ad ora. Vale lo stesso discorso per la zuppa di gamberi, vongole e fagioli, quantità e qualità. Buoni anche gli antipasti e il dolce. Se potessi darei 6 stelle su 5 a questo ristorante: prezzo con sconto bassissimo: 60 euro in due per dei piatti di pesce fresco, abbondanti e cucinati benissimo. Anche la cameriera che ci ha servito si è dimostrata gentilissima!

12/10/2024: Guter Kaffee, leckere Smoothie und toller Ausblick. Wir sind auf dem Weg von und zum Strand ständig am Endless Summer vorbeigekommen. Als wir dann endlich einmal reingegangen sind, hat es sich wirklich gelohnt.

09/10/2024: Great location on the Luz boardwalk - and the pizza is really good! We also had the lasagna which was delicious! Great salads too.

16/10/2024: After a rainy day, it was nice to escape to a welcoming restaurant, that we last visited in 2004, (our last visit to the Algarve). Although the previous owners have retired, the service standards and quality of food remain unchanged. Good choice of starters, but my wife had Tiger Prawns for her main (enormous prawns), whilst I had the Portuguese steak, which was excellent. A nice bottle of red Dão to go with it. Might just be returning later in the week for the superb looking rack of lamb.........

06/10/2024: The menu says the restaurant was established in 1975 and I don’t think the menu has changed since. The place is lovely, sofas in the garden area, crisp linen and silverware on the tables, but while the food and service were all very pleasant, it would not entice us back. Reasonably priced and certainly seemed to attract the older clientele

10/10/2024: This restaurant is in a quaint location and the service was very good. My husband and I didn’t particularly enjoy the food, however. We were looking for authentic local food and we found it here but I felt that all of the dishes were extremely heavy (oil, sauces) and not suited to my taste. Perhaps some of this is characteristic to Portuguese cuisine, but having eaten at several other restaurants in the area, this was my least favorite.

26/09/2024: A wonderful authentic Portuguese restaurant with lots of options on the menu. The fresh fish dishes and the steak were excellent . The service is also very good and the owner takes pride in his establishment. A great find!

31/07/2024: Très bon restaurant avec de la nourriture typique portugaise et traditionnelle. Équipe très accueillante avec un service au top. Tout est excellent du plat au dessert.
