05/11/2024: Tivemos uma péssima experiência. Pedimos uma sopa de legumes, ok Pedimos um espetada e solicitamos bem passada, veio sagrando. Enviamos de volta e ai depois de 15 minutes quando as batatas já estavam frias veio a espetada queimada, não pudemos comer. Horrível. O restaurante deu um desconto na conta, e a atendente muito simpática pediu desculpas, mais o almoço estava arruinado. Que pena

31/10/2024: La comida era mala, incomible, pero la gente era muy agradable. Sin embargo, no lo recomendaría. No podíamos comer ningún plato. El menú era muy pobre.

19/12/2023: Alfama faz parte do portobay resort e serve excelente comida portuguesa 👌 Os pratos são bem apresentados e são saborosos e deliciosos! A equipe foi muito simpática e eles conseguiram acomodar uma criança mesmo à noite?

09/10/2023: Atmosfera muito agradável em contraste com outros locais da região. Serviço muito atencioso e comida deliciosa com efeitos gustativos surpreendentes.

27/07/2024: Simple food done really well, the pizzas are excellent and the staff gave great service👍. Everything arrived in good time, desserts are very tasty. Sat outside, nice cold beer, happy days.

20/05/2024: Lovely pizza first time we visited. Staff also very attentive and friendly. So we visited again. My wife had a tuna salad , I had lasagne. Again we were impressed. Looking forward to our 3rd visit before returning home. Restaurant is in a seafront location with great views

11/08/2024: Avec une amie, nous nous sommes baladées dans le Jardin Botanique. Je m'attendais à quelque chose de plus fleuri et coloré, mais l'endroit était quand même agréable. Après avoir flanné dans les allées, nous avons voulu nous restaurer. Nous nous sommes alors dirigées vers ce qu'on pourrait qualifier de la buvette. Tout simplement : un désastre. Pour commencer, on se croirait au self ou dans une cantine primaire. Il n'y a aucun service à table et le peu de personnel est plus que désagréable. Nous avons pris, 2 pauvres petits pastel de nata, 2 parts de gâteau à la banane et 2 petites bouteilles d'eau tout ça pour la maudite somme de 15€ ! Les tables ne sont pas débarrassées, ce qui porte à confusion lorsque l'on veut s'installer. À part la vue sur Funchal, cet endroit est à fuir !! Je ne recommande pas du tout cet établissement.

06/07/2024: Bon endroit pour luncher à proximité du Jardin botanique de Monte. Différents choix de sandwichs et boissons à bon prix. Excellent service, le serveur était très attentionné et sympathique en plus de parler de nombreuses langues.

25/09/2024: Wonderful experience, 5 stars and I’d given more if I could. Everything was excellent start to finish, the chef is very talented congratulations. This is our third time at Vida Mar resort Funchal, and this was the first time that we could enjoy this restaurant, that was closed since Covid and reopened since three months ago. We strongly recommend it and hope it stays open for good 🙏

12/09/2024: Excellent catering for us and listening to our needs of being vegetarian The dishes were simply devine My husband had said he would be getting a take out of this didn’t fill him up, but it did Yummy food, with a magnificent display, so arty it’s a shame to have to eat such a picture Fabulous service, staff we very communicative and understanding our needs Great atmosphere Clean Definitely go there again

29/09/2024: What a great find! A very local restaurant that you would miss as you walked by but it is run by a wonderful person who takes great care to ensure your meal is satisfactory. Excellent fresh fish that exceeds expectations. Great prices as well. A must place to eat.

17/09/2024: Assim sim, comer bem, tradicional e com bom serviço, tão barato e ao pé da praia? Melhor impossível! Fantástico prego no bolo do caco e muito boa sangria! A mousse não consegui provar, fica para a próxima visita! Altamente recomendado, mas apenas se não forem com ideias que é um restaurante gourmet, é um restaurante realmente tradicional! Aproveitem!

22/07/2024: Lovely friendly cafe where you can sit in the sunshine and watch the cable cars go in and out Freshly made food and cake and a wide range of drinks to choose from Lovely friendly staff and a friendly little bird that literally sits at your table too
