19/04/2025: Dans une petite rue piétonne, à proximité de la cathédrale. quelques tables en terrasse pour ce petit restaurant sans prétention. Choix de salades, fish & chips, steaks et burgers. Parfait pour la pause déjeuner. Nos salades de thon étaient copieuses et fraiches. 30€ pour deux avec 2 verres de vin inclus. Bon rapport qualité/prix.

05/04/2025: Gran comida y fantástica relación calidad-precio para el tamaño de las porciones. El servicio fue genial. Recomendaría encarecidamente si vas a parar para almorzar.

28/07/2025: Un peu sceptique à la base, l'attitude de la serveuse nous a motivé pour tenter notre chance (elle nous a simplement expliqué sa carte sans chercher à nous faire asseoir à une table). La sangria blanche de l'apero nous a permis de rester sur cette impression positive (oui, elle avait du goût et ce n'est pas le cas partout). Enfin, la préparation des plats (encornets et morue) a fini de nous convaincre que nous avions fait le bon choix. Merci à l'équipe pour leur accueil et leur plaisir de nous faire passer un excellent.

04/08/2025: Essen durchschnittlich. Wartezeit bis zu einer Stunde. Bedienung mäßig freundlich. Insgesamt eher enttäuschend angesichts der guten Bewertungen. Einzig der Ausblick auf die Stadt ist wirklich schön.

03/08/2025: Absolutely outstanding dishes and very hospital. Owner! Local, traditional and original 10/10. If you’re looking for something out of the box which you cannot find in the guidebook out of the tourist region like old town, this is absolutely for you.

30/07/2025: Had lunch and watched the world go by on a sheltered terrace with a gentle breeze. Returned for dinner with family and again was not disappointed. Menu has a range of meals at reasonable price and the quality will impress. Staff attentive and friendly. Music on the night was good but as we wanted to chat we went upstairs to another quieter terrace.

27/07/2025: My wife has just ordered chips and coleslaw odd combination I know we only waited 10 mins and what arrived was proper chips not your frozen crap and in her words probably the best coleslaw she has tasted going to carry on drinking now come and try this place can't fault it

21/07/2025: Wir assen Cannelloni und Tagliatelle mit Scampi, sowie Bolo do Caco. Die Cannelloni waren super, die Tagliatelle in Ordnung. Das Personal war nett.

10/07/2025: Comida terrible. Tres platos principales se quejaron ante un miembro del personal y ninguno de ellos se interesó en absoluto en nuestra queja. Sin duda no volveremos. La comida más pobre hasta ahora.

07/07/2025: No estoy seguro de las otras comidas, pero la sopa de tomate y el queso tostado eran terribles, el queso no se había derretido en lo más mínimo y el pan estaba seco, aunque aún tenía más sabor que la sopa, que literalmente solo sabía a agua.

05/06/2025: Mooie blik over het water echter eten wat teleurstellend. Kip had dezelfde saus als de steak, welke mijns inziens geen steak te noemen was. Zoete aardappel erg smakelijk! Vriendelijke bediening.

25/04/2025: Una experiencia de carne ahumada muy agradable. Tomé el brisket Angus con ensalada de col y papas fritas. Muy bien. Lo mismo pasa con la cerveza local del grifo. La 5a estrella perdida se debe a la limitada selección de niños, ya que a los míos no les gusta la carne ahumada tan bien como a su padre. Los postres obtuvieron 5 / 5 de ellos tho : )

17/04/2025: Das Fleisch im Taco war nicht frisch, sehr zäh und im Geschmack ungeniessbar. Wir würden dort auf keinen Fall ein zweites Mal essen.

03/07/2025: Cheguei aqui em 3 de julho de 2025 e o Qasbah já não existe mais. Está sendo reformado para se tornar um restaurante.

24/06/2025: Comida perfeita, ótima localização, fácil acesso e vale muito a pena uma visita se você estiver na região.

28/03/2025: Looking forward to a night at the Real Canoa and seeing Bruno and his lovely staff. How disappointing to find it’s closed down and looking neglected. Had many happy evenings there over the years and always introduced new people. End of an era. Good luck Bruno with any new ventures!

23/02/2025: Our favourite restaurant in Madeira, we even came in 2021 during lockdown! We always had a fabulous meal here and Bruno and his team were fantastic, we’ve just walked past it and so sad, it’s shut down 😭 looks very sorry for itself. It will be missed.
