16/09/2024: Já comi varias vezes neste restaurante e sempre comi bem para um restaurante mediano. Aliás, ir lá almoçar ao fds era sinal de espera. A ultima vez que fui não só entramos logo, como não havia quase ninguem no restaurante. Caiu-nos a ficha quando começamos a comer e confirmou-se que a cozinha tinha mudado, cozinheiros e qualidade dos produtos. Pedimos duas espetadas de carne de vaca entre mal e mediamente passadas. Nos mesmos 2 espetos vinha, carne bem passada (sem pinga de sangue), media, mal passada e crua, que foi para trás. E quando digo que foi para trás não foi para passar melhor, foi porque ninguem a quis Já que tinha o sabor do tofu, ou seja, sabia a nada. E nós somos bons garfos :D. E quem é que quer milho frito mole?!? Um restaurante que de razoável/bom, passou a mau.

15/09/2024: Excellent food, and plenty of it, for a very reasonable price! This restaurant came very highly recommended by our hotel concierge in Funchal, and we enjoyed it so much on our first night in Sao Vicente that we came back again the next evening! Very pleasant, attentive waitstaff and fantastic views of the coast made this restaurant one of our favourites during our two weeks here in Madeira!

03/09/2024: We live very close to 100 Pressa Mand go for dinner at least 1 time a week maybe more. The food and service is the best in this area of our island and our favorite place to eat and relax.

26/10/2024: We had both our first and last dinner at this place and for good reason: it was friendly, welcoming, tasty and reasonable. Our first encounter with the local garlic bread, the delicious limpets and their house specialty, the shrimps jordão were all reasons enough to return on our last night. Sitting outside at their tables flanking the main square of Santa Cruz, sipping on the local poncha proved so much fun right after arrival from (and just before return to) autumn in Central Europe.

22/10/2024: O restaurante foi uma ótima surpresa! A comida era excelente, com pratos muito saborosos e bem preparados, especialmente considerando o preço justo. O atendimento fez toda a diferença, todos extremamente simpáticos e atenciosos. Fomos atendidos pelo senhor Martinho, que foi muito prestável e garantiu que tivéssemos tudo o que precisávamos. O senhor Edar também se destacou pela gentileza e atenção. Com certeza, um lugar para voltar e recomendar! ☺️

28/03/2024: O melhor absoluto e já estive lá duas vezes. Eu estava de férias. Eu recomendo. Equipe encantadora, amigável, limpa. Eles ainda têm um robô que achei muito surpreendente trazendo comida para as mesas.

28/03/2024: Refeição decente, mas cheiro perceptível de esgoto no restaurante. E não gostamos do acréscimo na cabeça do cliente. Aumentou porque turistas! É abusado !!!

16/11/2024: Always a lovely welcome and great service. Never had a bad dish. The orange and duck risotto, chicken cannelloni, vegetable lasagne are all delicious. Salads, pizza are great too. Everything is cooked to order and always very tasty. Great value for money.

03/11/2024: Passed by many times , but it is was open people inside and we gave it a go. So pleased we did. Charming young female waitresses eager to help. Yes it's small and tables close together but we were there to eat and were not disappointed. I don't usually eat piazza, too stodgy too heavy. But converted after eating half my husband's generous portion with a lovely Caprese salad. We will return.

12/10/2024: Look forward to our annual visit to Funchal and a few dinners at our favourite restaurant. Great location in the old town, good food at reasonable prices. Staff always very friendly and helpful and good for a laugh - always a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

30/09/2024: We visited the restaurant on a Wednesday evening, the location is lovely but the staff and some of the food could do better, don't get me wrong, the Espetada's were nice, they just weren't as scrumptious as I was expecting. I have seen it some other places in the Old Town and it just looked nicer. The waiters were polite until it came to paying time where they put the bill on your table, totally ignoring you whilst talking to another table about nothing of any matter of fact. It was a bit rude, but he didn't particularly care. I won't be going back, but don't let me put you off.

27/09/2024: You have to book for this wonderful experience. It is a very spacious and gracious building and tea is served on a covered and airy patio. The furniture is comfortable and tables adequately spaced. The view down the coast is very scenic and it easy to simply sit and enjoy the peace and quiet as you take it in. The food is very high quality and plentiful. Additional sandwiches and scones were offered to all. There are numerous varieties of tea. The service is exceptional. This was a truly fantastic experience. Do book if you are in Funchal.

17/09/2024: My wife and I went to the afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday - unfortunately there was very little of the overall experience which was positive, let alone worth the price. Before we were seated we had a 15 minute wait standing in the lobby with a queue behind us, with only one person seating the guests - this seemed very disorganized and strange. After we were seated, we declined the (extortionately priced) champagne to start. As such, we felt like we were being treated poorly - the table next to us got an extra treat for the man’s birthday; they acknowledged my wife’s birthday but didn’t bring anything. When we ordered tea, the waitress poured it instantly without letting it brew - it was unpleasant as a result. You’d have thought afternoon tea would know how to serve tea. The food was mostly fine, with a couple of highlights (especially the prawn sandwiches), but the scones were more like dumplings and the desserts were broadly flavorless. This was very disappointing. Only 2/3 of the tables have a good view, with the remaining 1/3 being away from the edge. It would have been good to know this in advance, to arrive earlier, but this want communicated. Overall, just thoroughly disappointing - customers paying this much deserve better.

03/04/2024: Local agradável e cativante com pequenas esplanadas com vista mar que são maravilhosas e mais maravilhosa ainda é a sua gastronomia, fresca, imaginativa e ousada. Seu creme brulé com banana tem gosto de néctar dos deuses. Um sucesso completo.

03/04/2024: Ótimo pub em uma praça aconchegante com mesas ao sol. Deliciosos petiscos a ótimos preços e, acima de tudo, uma grande seleção de bebidas. As ponchas e a sangria estavam óptimas, mas também a selecção de cervejas e a opção de escolher uma tábua de cerveja para provar.

22/10/2024: Atendimento espectacular!! A carne é maravilhosa!! Aconselho tanto a picanha normal que vem no espeto e vão cortando nas mesas, como a picanha com alho que vem mais enrolada no espeto. Equipa muito familiar e sabe receber muito bem o cliente. Experiência a repetir quando voltar ao Funchal.

08/09/2024: Das Essen war wirklich unglaublich toll und besonders an den Späßen schön angerichtet. Der Service war auch sehr freundlich. Den einzigen Punkt den ich hier Abzeichen muss ist die Atmosphäre. Es war sehr laut in dem Restaurant. Aber ansonsten habe ich überhaupt nichts auszusetzen

13/10/2024: Delicious, freshly cooked food. We enjoyed the lamb and scabbard fish with banana and almonds. Lovely salad and veg too. Highlight is the super ocean view and beautifully looked after garden. Family run, and very attentive friendly service.

11/10/2024: Really nice ocean view, nice waitress - as opposed to the food. Lapas were undercooked and uncleand, really terrible taste. We ate lapas in a few different places and first time we for something like this. Tomato soup have literally no taste. Scabbard fish was greasy and without seasoning. Espatada - beef was stale. I do kot recommend this place.
