13/11/2024: Wir besuchten spontan das Restaurant und konnten im Außenbereich Platz nehmen. 2 Burger (gut zubereitet) mit Pommes Fritts und jeweils 2 Getränke zu 22 Euro Preiswert.....

22/10/2024: Qué desastre. Pedí sándwich y bebida. Atendido por un camarero muy desinteresado esperó una edad para las bebidas que llegaron después de la comida. No recomendaría

06/10/2024: We were there two times before and the food and attention was ok. The third time it was somewhat miserable. First the muscles were full of sand, not cleaned very well and second the ravioli were one solid burnt block. This can happen but the waiters were just indifferent and charged the spoiled meal fully. That was the last time we were visiting this place. Why care about some guests, when next day the restaurant fills up again? As said, I can excuse a mishap but not such arrogance.

23/09/2024: Très bonne petite boulangerie. Prix tout à fait corrects. Les pasteis de nata sont à tomber ! J’enlève néanmoins deux étoiles car service toujours aussi déplorable malgré notre visite quotidienne pour le petit déjeuner… et font passer les locaux avant les touristes. pas sympa !

22/09/2024: My partially sighted husband queued at the counter after some time to be told to sit down. We didn’t know to queue for take away only - no notice is displayed. We then waited eventually catching someone’s attention to be gruffly told in a minute. That wasn’t the end of it! Hubby had great difficulty stuffing a note into the slot for the unhelpful assistant. They need more staff or better still training in ‘Front of House Skills’.

30/04/2024: This was my favourite bar in Funchal. So sad it wasn’t open last time I went. The staff always remembered us, the poncho was great and the bolo with tuna was so good. Hope the staff are all doing well wherever they are now.

11/08/2024: Avec une amie, nous nous sommes baladées dans le Jardin Botanique. Je m'attendais à quelque chose de plus fleuri et coloré, mais l'endroit était quand même agréable. Après avoir flanné dans les allées, nous avons voulu nous restaurer. Nous nous sommes alors dirigées vers ce qu'on pourrait qualifier de la buvette. Tout simplement : un désastre. Pour commencer, on se croirait au self ou dans une cantine primaire. Il n'y a aucun service à table et le peu de personnel est plus que désagréable. Nous avons pris, 2 pauvres petits pastel de nata, 2 parts de gâteau à la banane et 2 petites bouteilles d'eau tout ça pour la maudite somme de 15€ ! Les tables ne sont pas débarrassées, ce qui porte à confusion lorsque l'on veut s'installer. À part la vue sur Funchal, cet endroit est à fuir !! Je ne recommande pas du tout cet établissement.

06/07/2024: Bon endroit pour luncher à proximité du Jardin botanique de Monte. Différents choix de sandwichs et boissons à bon prix. Excellent service, le serveur était très attentionné et sympathique en plus de parler de nombreuses langues.

09/11/2024: Great for a quick bite to eat and very lovely staff , not 5 star food but just for a great snack on your travels , found them very friendly and happy to help

22/07/2024: Lovely friendly cafe where you can sit in the sunshine and watch the cable cars go in and out Freshly made food and cake and a wide range of drinks to choose from Lovely friendly staff and a friendly little bird that literally sits at your table too

15/09/2024: Ótimo para beber umas boas ponchas. Tem uma esplanada agradável e o funcionário que lá estava era muito atencioso 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

15/09/2024: Great space with a lot of variety of traditional drinks, nice music and snacks. They do one meter shots of poncha that is amazing to try with some friends. Loved the Nikita and can’t wait to try the other flavors.
