19/10/2024: We have some lovely food in Portugal but this place is right up there with the best. Service and food quality was top notch, it’s an hour’s drive from ours but we can’t wait to return.

06/10/2024: This is by far the best restaurant in Salema. A group of us had dinner there last night and the food was wonderful as was the wine and the service. Fantastic attention to detail. It was a real treat.

15/08/2024: We have eaten at O Tiago every year for the last seventeen years and have enjoyed it every time. The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly and always welcoming. Steak on the stone, prawns in garlic, and chicken and mushroom pie are all favourites of ours. It is only a small place so it is best to book, particularly in summer months.

12/08/2024: Lovely little family run place. All the food is was delicious and freshly cooked, and the meat dishes all served with vegetables. Small selection of children’s dishes for the little ones. Probably only about 50 couverts, and it filled up very quickly (we’d reserved a table) - I dare say walk-ins would be disappointed in the Summer months.

08/10/2024: I first came here oh ten years or so ago and it blew me away at that time. Although other eateries have caught up, it is still a very polished performer. Very good service, a smart ambience and an excellent selection of good wines at around the 30 euros a bottle mark, which is very reasonable. The seafood selection is limited, the fillet steak very good and cooked exactly as requested. Interestingly steak in Portugal isn't as "dense" as in Britain, so it's a different animal really (excuse the pun please!). Unusually you receive "normal" vegetables....potatoes rather than chips and a mix of cauliflower, broccoli and mange tout. A home cooking feel but of better quality. Very reasonable pricing, amongst the cheapest of our trip and a smarter feel to the locale. Do please try the walnut ice cream....wow!

30/09/2024: This restaurant was fantastic. It may have served some of the best meals we have ever eaten. We were lucky to get a table on our first night, and the experience was so great we booked a table for the next night halfway through our dinner. The food, service, and ambience are all top rate. I had pasta the first night, and beefsteak the second. Both were fantastic. My wife's food was equally impressive. We highly, highly recommend this restaurant.

Y a 4 tables, la serveuse est débordé , le burger bacon pour 6eu ... pas de fromage, juste un steak dégueulasse une feuille salade ,une tomate sur un pain burger de supermarché. lol ..... Je me demandais pourquoi les gens mangeaient au fast food ou dans les restaurants indiens ..mais quand on voit ce qu'ils nous servent,franchement.. je sais ,on est français , mal habitué ,chez nous on mange bien partout , même le vieux kebab bizarre du coin à 5eu sert mieux que ça .
