06/10/2024: We were there two times before and the food and attention was ok. The third time it was somewhat miserable. First the muscles were full of sand, not cleaned very well and second the ravioli were one solid burnt block. This can happen but the waiters were just indifferent and charged the spoiled meal fully. That was the last time we were visiting this place. Why care about some guests, when next day the restaurant fills up again? As said, I can excuse a mishap but not such arrogance.
25/09/2024: Literally just been! The prawns on the stone were amazing. Lovely service. Really friendly. Would definitely recommend

23/09/2024: We have eaten various dishes in this restaurant and loved the portion sizes. (Small salad is not small trust me!)
We genuinly believe that we have eaten the best Espetada Regional here, hands off.
Also they are very friendly and talkative people, sharing interesting information about Madeira.
One day we will come back there!
19/09/2024: La Terraca vonden wij het lekkerste restaurant in de buurt. De prijs kwaliteitverhouding is veruit het beste.
De service is uitstekend en de wijnselectie zeer goed. De ober (met de tatoeages) heeft veel verstand van de wijnen en vindt het ook heel leuk om daarover te vertellen.
Zeker een aanrader als je in de buurt ben!

28/07/2024: O atendimento não presta fiz lá um batizado para 40 pessoas no qual foi acordado um espaço e foi mudado para outro sem o meu concentimento. Durante a refeição os empregados desapareceram. O chefe de sala o Ricardo não presta e um aldrabao. Engana as pessoas com tudo tanto a nível de comer e de sobremesas e no fim ainda leva mais dinheiro do que o combinado

16/10/2024: Wow, what a lovely restaurant. The food was amazing. We had half a Bolo do Caco with garlic butter to start and the camembert, which were both delicious. Then I had the beef skewers and my husband had the lamb chops, again, tasty and excellent quality, all washed down with a bottle of local Maderian Rose. A great ambience, friendly professional service and tasty food. 5 stars, I would thoroughly recommend.
09/10/2024: Tudo óptimo. Destaque para a espetada e as batatas fritas. Serviço atencioso, bom serviço de vinha mas carta curta e com preços altos.

11/09/2024: Nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel the Vine fin aout 2024 et nous avons pu profité de trois diners. Je dois dire que nous avons été subjugués par la cuisine délicieuse (spéciale dédicace pour les joues de porc) et la gentillesse du personnel. Le cadre est splendide, les plats sont magiques mélangeant plusieurs inspirations et saveurs. Une révélation ! Vraiment une belle expérience.

23/09/2024: Très bonne petite boulangerie. Prix tout à fait corrects. Les pasteis de nata sont à tomber ! J’enlève néanmoins deux étoiles car service toujours aussi déplorable malgré notre visite quotidienne pour le petit déjeuner… et font passer les locaux avant les touristes. pas sympa !
22/09/2024: My partially sighted husband queued at the counter after some time to be told to sit down. We didn’t know to queue for take away only - no notice is displayed. We then waited eventually catching someone’s attention to be gruffly told in a minute. That wasn’t the end of it! Hubby had great difficulty stuffing a note into the slot for the unhelpful assistant. They need more staff or better still training in ‘Front of House Skills’.

06/11/2024: Lille hyggelig restaurant som vi besøgte en november aften. Ude servering med 7 små borde.
Maden smagte godt, betjeningen var god. Bistroen var velbesøgt.
23/10/2024: We picked out this restaurant without prior research from the dozens around central Funchal because it had a short menu and didn’t use photographs to explain itself. It had a whiff of authenticity amongst the similar offerings of everything elsewhere. We were not disappointed in either the food, wine or service. It wasn’t quick. We had the taste and ambience of food cooked to order, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

02/10/2024: Pas facile a trouver, Il faut savoir que le restaurant est sur une terrasse au 3eme étage d un immeuble.
Terrasse super sympa et serveur efficace les prix sont corrects
27/08/2024: AVOID AVOID AVOID.. had traditional bread to start was stale and clearly not fresh.. the main was supposed to be chicken on a skewer cooked on hot stone..it was fried and just really bad. I’ve had better chicken from a takeaway back home.
