21/09/2024: This is an amazing restaurant. I have been to Lagos for 30 years and only booked here recently. Service - excellent. Food and wine amazing. Value - brilliant. Cannot fault it. Recommend you book early as always packed.

16/10/2024: Our second visit to this lovely restaurant. Portuguese steak was excellent as was the mixed fish kebab. Friendly service. What more could you ask for. Highly recommend. Service and price beats any restaurant in the neighbourhood. Take an Uber or walk from Vilamoura you won’t be disappointed .

08/09/2024: Excelente ambiente. Qualidade e confecção dos pratos excelente. Recomendo o prato "Mar e Terra", maravilhoso. Os abanicos e a espetada de picanha muito saboros.

24/09/2024: Called in for a take away pizza as just round the corner from our hotel. Definitely recommend all freshly made bases and toppings. All cooked and ready with no long waiting, even though the restaurant side was busy. Only sorry I didn’t take pics as it was so good we tucked in. Great friendly customer service too.

25/10/2024: This place is amazing! A lovely family run restaurant with a vast menu. We stayed in Quarteira for a week and ate here 3 times. Twice I had steak and both times it was amazing. The piri piri chicken was also very good. Husband had chilli one night which was huge and very tasty, garlic prawns another night which he said was amazing and lambs chops on the last night. All our food was delicious and served by the friendly family, who even remembered our drinks order from previous visits. The restaurant is tucked away down a quiet back street so not the easiest to find but very well worth the effort.

20/10/2024: Absolute little Gem, found by accident but what a find. Decided to try it out after stumbling across the advertising board at the end of the road the day before. On entering the restaurant there were a few people dining and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Myself & my friend ordered steak, mine house sirloin med rare & my friends fillet med. Both steaks were amazingly soft and palatable with salad & chips washed down with some lovely wine and finished off with speciality coffee. The wait staff & chief (the owners) were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

20/08/2024: Jantamos aqui. A dourada grelhada (€12,50) estava óptima e foi servida com salada e duas batatas. Altamente recomendado! Meu amigo comeu o bife de atum, que estava um pouco seco demais para o seu gosto. Também tivemos o frango grelhado (bastante medíocre). Mas voltaremos para experimentar a carne da pedra quente - isso já foi recomendado várias vezes. O serviço foi amigável, mas um pouco lento. Ao todo damos 4 estrelas.

20/10/2024: Bom ambiente. Boa comida. Tenho muita pena que a política de preços do vinho seja absurda: vender um Quinta do Carmo tinto a 51€ é um abuso quando se encontra esse vinho abaixo dos 18€. Vendem menos vinho e o cliente não fica tão contente quanto poderia ficar...

30/08/2024: Ótima comida a um preço justo. O serviço é um pouco devagar, mas nada que chegue a incomodar. Fomos duas vezes e ficamos satisfeitos com todos os pratos

23/09/2024: I'm afraid I was disappointed. Food was average - nothing special, in my view - but the most expensive (by item) that we have had in the last 10 days. I was very disappointed to learn - on arrival, no pre-warning - that they do not take card payment and haven't done for "a few months'. Despite having to reserve a table, and being asked to confirm the reservation on the day, nobody thought to mention that it's 'cash only' before we had sat down and started to look at the menu. What made it ok, in the view of the staff, was that there is a cash machine right next door. Plenty of opportunity to warn us to take cash beforehand. Poor management. I'm afraid this restaurant does not live up to the hype it has built up around itself.

20/09/2024: We are a party of 4 and all looked forward to our steak fix. The menu offers good variety and we ordered rib eye and also t-bone along with sauces, chips and veg. The steaks are good quality but there was little seasoning added to the cooking. A good steak chef knows that seasoning is the key. Otherwise you just get a slab of meat. It all tasted fine and we ate it up. The price however is on the high side. For 4 x persons main courses, 2 x desserts and some wine it cost over €250.
