14/10/2024: Heerlijk eten in ongedwongen sfeer met fraai uitzicht. Gerechten zijn lekker op smaak met een bite en een asian twist. 2 avonden heerlijk genoten van de lekkere gerechten op de kaart. De cheviche is een aanrader! Bijpassende wijn uit Portugal maakt het compleet.

10/10/2024: Me encantó todo sobre ZaZu. Genial vibra de cadera, arte y decoración interesantes, excelente servicio (gritar - hacia fuera a Wagner ... él era encantador y atractivo) y simplemente no se puede superar el ambiente con vistas al océano. Arty - cócteles únicos. Tomamos un 'to-die-for' Basil Smash y un cóctel de lichi de romero. Compartí dos desiertos (un vegano Bit * h - un arándano y lavanda nimiedad como cualquier desierto que hemos tenido, y una bomba de chocolate rico y celestial sentado en un charco de avellana crujiente). Volvimos y tomamos los mismos cócteles y desiertos 3 días después era solo ese delicioso. fabuloso lugar - no te lo pierdas.

24/09/2024: A small and colourful café / bar serving good food, and with both indoor and terrace tables. The terrace has views over the river estuary rather than the outstanding beach.

05/09/2024: Un petit restaurant typique où nous avons très très bien mangé. Petite terrasse qui ne paye pas de mine aux premiers abords mais très mignonne. Un service de qualité avec des serveurs agréables, de bons conseils et parlant français ! De très bons plats locaux. Nous recommandons ce restaurant !

22/10/2024: I would recommend this to anyone in Portugal it has great service and great food. The French toast was awesome and the sticky toffee pudding is great for a sweet tooth. We’ve been in Portugal for 3 days and have already been here twice.

29/09/2024: Wow! What a find! We’re absolutely gutted that we’ve only just found this place as it’s closed on Mondays and we leave early Tuesday morning. The menu was all day brunch and there was so much choice. All the food that came out of the kitchen looked incredible. The staff were mainly English and were super nice and friendly. I would highly recommend a visit.

15/10/2024: Die Speisen waren frisch und toll zubereitet und haben wirklich lecker geschmeckt, der Service war sehr gut und zuvorkommend. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt`'s weil wir extrem lang auf den Hauptgang gewartet haben, das Lokal war zwar voll aber die Essensausgabe sah doch sehr unorganisiert aus. Das haben dann die armen Kellner abgekommen. In Summe wer frische Meerestiere / Fisch und Fleisch mag kann dort fündig werden, wenn es voll ist muss man Zeit mitbringen.

09/10/2024: Excellent! We are returning customers - this restaurant is always our first stop when we go to Alvor. It never disappoints. There were 11 of us on this occasion, we were accommodated on the spot in the late afternoon. Staff were lovely and friendly. The food was excellent. We always opt for the giant tiger prawns they are a must! We then had a mix of the fresh fish of the day. All cooked perfectly with nice sides. We would highly recommend, especially if you are a seafood fan!

23/11/2024: Etwas abgelegene schöne Lage im Grünen. Cooler freundlicher Chef, der auch perfekt deutsch spricht. Seine Empfehlung zum Vorspeisenteller war hervorragend. Auch die Hauptgänge haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut angemessen. Sollten Sie in der Gegend von Monchique sein unbedingt einen Besuch wert.

14/11/2024: Após verificar ( Google e TripAdvisor) que o dia da semana em que está encerrado é a terça-feira, desloquei-me ao restaurante numa quarta-feira. Embora tenha um placar na entrada da área de estacionamento que confirma que, entre Outubro e Março, o dia de encerramento semanal é a terça-feira, encontrei o estabelecimento fechado. Após indicar esta situação na avaliação que fiz por solicitação do Google, o sr. Geraldino,que suponho seja o dono, gozou comigo e faltou-me ao respeito dizendo que felizmente tinha tido uma estrelinha e que eu voltasse a partir de 2 de Janeiro, mas não á terça ou quarta. Caro senhor, eu sei que não precisa de mim como cliente, bastam-lhe os amigos e os clientes habituais, mas o respeito ainda é gratuito. Triste.

29/10/2024: Wir haben zwei unterschiedliche Fünfgängemenüs gehabt und diese sind sehr empfehlenswert, da sie pfiffig und außerordentlich schmackhaft waren. Angenehme Atmosphäre mit äußerst freundlichem Personal. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

10/10/2024: An arty-garden vibe, delightful decor with pretty coloured water glasses on the table, hearts hanging from lemon tree branches, cool art on the walls, serene (and not cold or windy). This restaurant has ambience +! The meal was delicious and service attentive. A magical and memorable evening.

28/10/2024: I visited here and made the server aware of my gluten allergy, and I asked about safe-to-eat items. Even still, I had to send back a dessert (ice cream) because they forgot it had cookie in it, and I was brought a new version. Again, I was served ice cream with gluten inside; unfortunately, this time I didn't notice until I had already taken a few bites. Upon telling the server, he was apologetic but otherwise unhelpful. I also find it completley unacceptable to TWICE serve someone a dish with ingredients they are allergic to. If you have dietary restrictions, I don't think you are safe to eat at Sol E Serra. Additionally, my partner ordered a medium-cooked steaked, but it was unevenly cooked; some parts were well done and some parts were almost raw. It was not high quality, so even for someone without dietary restrictions, the meal was subpar. I cannot reccomend eating here.

02/10/2024: La cena más increíble que tuvimos en Lagos. El servicio fue de 10 / 10. Ricardo era muy atento y conocedor de todo el menú. Sus recomendaciones fueron geniales. La comida era deliciosa. No puedo recomendar lo suficiente. Tuvimos el pulpo y las croquetas como aperitivos que eran fenomenales. Y el cordero y el solomillo envejecido seco como principal. Todo estaba delicioso. El postre de bayas fue espectacular. Este restaurante es imprescindible si estás en Lagos
