Toda la noche estuvo llena de amor, amabilidad, espíritu familiar y gran música. Nos gustó mucho. La comida también era deliciosa. Me alegro de que nuestros amigos recomendaron el lugar. ¡Vale la pena!

27/11/2024: The tuna belly is exceptional. Staff is very nice and offers great advice. Prices are very reasonable. I would come back any time.

24/11/2024: Amazing tapas meal, spectacular wine selections and wonderful team service. This was a delightful meal in the heart of ‘Portugal’s Garden’ We will be back!!!!!

04/01/2025: Greeted and taken through to selected table. No chance for a cocktail In the lounge bar. No table cloth which was a shame as the table was very rustic, sticky and had ants crawling across! Shame the starters were served before any drinks also !! Gradalax was very mild. All meals were exceptionally small, alternative taste buds needed and little appetite or expectations as neither were met adequately. One diner had previously requested vegetarian but offered beef instead of lamb- not sure if this was a joke or serious comment by the rotund waiter who then failed to get our drinks order in a timely manner. Only alternative offered was another fish dish as was hoping for a super dooper veggi option 🤷‍♀️ Dessert was ok but nothing wonderful apart from the chocolate fondant which was amazing. Shame all rpund that us 4 diners didn’t feel that exceptional experience for New Year that was expected and charged for.

03/01/2025: We had a wonderful afternoon tea at this restaurant, the quality was a first class and a very reasonable price. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Lovely location, with wonderful views from the terrace

22/12/2024: Si te gusta el té, esto es para ti. Hemos estado aquí dos veces, la primera vez solo para el té y unos días más tarde para el té y aperitivos. El té negro de Madeira era genial (en una olla grande) y mi marido me encantó absolutamente su tarta de queso limón. El único inconveniente son las palomas, que a los niños les encanta perseguir, pero me resulta bastante molesto cuando los padres no controlan a sus hijos. No es culpa de la casa de té, sino simplemente una observación.

01/12/2024: Tolles Erlebnis - ein kulinarischer Genuss! Wir waren zu sechst und hatten verschiedene Sandwiches, Tees und zum krönenden Abschluss noch leckeren Kuchen. Alles sehr sehr gut! Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Sowohl drinnen als auch außen auf dem schönen Platz kann man toll sitzen und es sich gut gehen lassen.

10/01/2025: Nos equivocamos de copas. La comida era horrible. Y tuve que esperar 40 minutos para pedir y luego otros 25 para gerir las bebidas. Y la peor parte fue el hecho de que la gente que llegó después de nosotros por comida y servicio mucho más rápido

24/11/2024: Gran comida, gran personal, gran relación calidad-precio. Uno de nuestros visitantes habituales va a lugares en Madeira, todavía no nos ha decepcionado durante los últimos 3 años de visitarlo.

03/11/2024: Comida casera rica rixa…. Moreira frita, chocos fritos, patatas, navajas con ajo y perejil y ensalada riquísima sin más que tomate brotes pepino y zanahoria. Atencion de primera haciendo esfuerzo por entendernos y sobre todo que la comida y el trato ha sido espectacular!!! Con café , postre de los mejores postres que he comido postre de la abuela y licor todo por 44€

20/08/2024: Excelente atendimento, preço qualidade dos produtos sempre fracos. Petiscos excelentes, moreia divinal, camarão da Costa soberbo, lingueirão muito bem confecionado. A repetir sem dúvidas

13/01/2025: Lite svårt att hitta hissen, såg ut som en förrådsdörr, men väl däruppe magisk utsikt och spännande design. Trevligt bemötande. Tog mig bara en espresso och satt och njöt av miljön, billigt 2 E för upplevelsen.

07/01/2025: Buena comida y servicio con una sonrisa. Es un restaurante con hermosas vistas a Funchal. El menú no estaba muy claramente construido, especialmente con las opciones vegetarianas contenidas en una parte separada, disponible bajo petición.

20/01/2025: Folks haven’t been yet. Afternoon tea - just been told that it’s €50 per person. Friend booked it for her parents. Hope it’s worth the money. Your site says €36 that’s a big difference??

14/01/2025: Fabulous afternoon tea at Reid's today, to celebrate my friend's birthday. OK, so it was her birthday in October, but it was the perfect excuse! With renovation work going on in the hotel, the Villa Cipriani, in the beautiful Reid's grounds, was the venue for our sumptuous tea. Whilst not in the palace itself, we had a fabulous view of it, which has to be a bonus. The service was first class! A big thanks to Dias for making two old girls very happy! A wonderful afternoon! Thank you.

23/11/2024: Disfrutamos de la estancia aquí y el delicioso almuerzo! Después del recorrido con mucha escalada fue un descanso agradable y sabroso con vistas!

23/11/2024: Nous avons bien été servi, la vue sur la terrasse est très agréable, avons pris des salades composées bien servi. Les frites étaient bonnes également.

02/09/2024: Restaurante de frutos do mar muito bom. Garçons muito gentis e respeitosos. Preço acessível, mas gostaríamos de ter um prato de frutos do mar mais decorado (não o suficiente para grandes comedores)

21/12/2024: Umiddelbart ser restauranten ikke ud af meget, men maden er lækker og personalet søde og hjælpsomme. Fornuftige priser.

09/12/2024: Käväistiin tässä paljon kehutussa paikassa syömässä. Tilattiin picado ja saatiin kyllä niin sitkeää lihaa, että suuri osa lihasta jäi lautaselle. Henkilökunta ei ollut kiinnostunut maistuuko ruoka. Tässä paikassa ruokailu jäi tähän kertaan.

09/07/2024: Fuimos a este restaurante / bar un martes por la mañana, el tiempo era glorioso, así que nos sentamos afuera solo tuvimos dos cafés y estaban deliciosos y a un precio razonable y el camarero joven que nos sirvió no podría haber sido más amable pensar que su nombre era Emanuel.

22/09/2024: We had the best meal of our holiday at Fernando’s. Started off with bolo do caco which was very tasty, followed by the scabbard fish with banana which was amazing! So full of flavour, presented beautifully and a generous portion. Poncha was great too (and made with rum, not vodka - like in many tourist trap restaurants). We will definitely come back to Fernando’s when we visit Madeira next time.

07/08/2024: This is by far the best food in Madeira! Its local, amazing portions and the lady of front of house is so thoughtful and professional. We ordered the chorizo and garlic bread, ceaser salad and much more!! In the center of funchal if you really want to have a local experience
