12/10/2024: Direkt am ersten Tag kamen wir bei KULINARIUM vorbei, hungrig von der Reise und auf der Suche nach einem richtig netten Restaurant … keine Chance: alles bereits reserviert, und für uns kein Platz mehr! Also haben wir sofort für einen anderen Tag einen Tisch reserviert - und nach dem ersten Besuch gleich eine zweite Reservierung gemacht! Das sagt eigentlich alles, wenn man nur eine Woche am Ort ist. Vieles in Carvoeiro schien uns zu trubelig und zu touristisch, und KULINARIUM entsprach rundherum unseren Vorstellungen! Das Essen war einfach perfekt! Fürs Auge ebenso wie geschmacklich! Eine so sommerliche Ente habe ich noch nie gegessen, deshalb beim zweiten Besuch nochmal. Mein Mann wechselte und war vom etwas anderen César Salad hin und weg. Dank an Küchenchef René Busse. Der Service kompetent, freundlich und absolut hilfsbereit angesichts unserer Sonderwünsche wegen Lactoseintoleranz! Dank an Martin und Annett Busse und an Tochter Beatrice. Die Weinkarte mit regionalem, kleinem und sehr ausgewähltem Angebot. Einrichtung und Dekoration stylisch und hochwertig (hell und luftig passend zur Lage am Meer, und zugleich alles andere als in einem Badeort zu vermuten). Und Preis-Leistung: absolut phänomenal!!! Wenn Carvoeiro nicht so weit weg wäre, kämen wir mit Freude öfter! Ein bisschen sehnsüchtig bleibt uns also nur, dieses familiengeführte KULINARIUM aus vollster Überzeugung gerne weiterzuempfehlen!!!

04/10/2024: The waitress could win first prize for rudeness There were only 3 people having lunch and we waited for more than 45 minutes to get the food. The food was very average, tasteless fish in a huge amount of batter.

28/03/2024: Surpreendente, muito boa escolha! A comida era muito boa, pratos simples mas saborosos, bom produto. O lugar é pequeno, mas aconchegante e acolhedor. Serviço impecável! Tratam os pratos, o vinho, os detalhes da mesa e do cliente com o máximo cuidado e isso é algo que valorizo ​​muito. A bebida com a conta é um detalhe e tanto. Relação qualidade/preço, muito barato. É cada vez mais claro para mim que os bons lugares estão longe de onde existem muitos. São fotos de dois dias diferentes, e isso porque valeu a pena repetir, e a segunda vez, ainda melhor que a primeira. O melhor lugar que você pode encontrar na Praia da Rocha.

26/03/2024: Talvez tenha sido uma noite ruim… este lugar recebe ótimas críticas, mas ficamos extremamente decepcionados. A comida estava fria e inexpressiva.

07/10/2024: Food acceptable. Service awful. Meals delivered on very dark table. Could not see food. No one came to ask if meals ok, even when taking plates away. When asking for the bill I commented that no one had asked how the meal was. Waitress asked then - sarcastically. I said Piri piri chicken hardly any spice. Waitress then said I was only after a discount. Food ok at best. Service terrible.

20/08/2024: I had read the reviews that were not great but we stumbled across the restaurant and I have to say it was really great, family of six for 126 euros was cheap. Service was ok and quite fast although there was only two on duty. Food tasted great, chicken kebab was very good.
