04/11/2024: Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Service. Wir waren 2x hier - einmal nur zu einem Sundowner und einmal zu einem sehr leckeren Abendessen. Beide Male wurden wir sehr zuvorkommend bedient. Das Essen war zu einem fairen Preis und mit guter Qualität. Alles in einem grandiosen Ambiente mit einem fantastischen Blick!

25/10/2024: Myself, spouse and three friends spent 10 days in Lagos. The food was so good we had lunch here three times! Initially following a cave tour! I view myself as a wing connoisseur. These were the best I’ve ever had. We spoke to the chef, who was very amiable despite my persistence to get the recipe. After lots of laughs and begging he was kind enough to share the ingredients but not quantities which was more than fair. We are trying out our version tonight. Hoping😬! If my recipe doesn’t come close we may have to do a repeat visit to Lagos! The food we experienced was amazing and Sangria hold its own. Great food, superior staff and service! Thanks!

07/10/2024: We visited the Birds nest Restaurant on our holiday in Loulé after seeing recommendations on trip advisor. During the booking process, we were informed that there was no children's menu but that they would be able to make smaller versions of some mains to accommodate our three year old. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Sandra and were spoilt for choice with the delicious sounding menu. I chose the braised beef, and my partner had the special of pork belly. They kindly made a small plate of the beef for my daughter, which she loved, these dishes came with fresh, wonderfully cooked vegetables. We both enjoyed the dishes immensely, they were melt in the mouth and full of flavour. We had a nice bootle of house wine, and even though we were all very full after our mains, I couldn't resist the creme brulee on the desert menu, and it was sensational. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the food and experience. We would highly recommend it.

12/09/2024: Quite simply wow. A really pretty restaurant a stones throw from the river. Service was attentive and the specials were described with passion. Tried Acorda de Gambas which I’d never had before - totally delicious. Husbands steak was one of the best he’d had. So nice to see ‘different’ sides also instead of the usual chips! Will definitely return.

05/09/2024: Une bonne découverte de passage à Portimao pour la semaine. Bacalhau com natas a tomber tout simplement. Restaurant qui ne vous force pas à la consommation et qui est situé dans une rue non passante donc en dehors du site touristique. Un restaurant vraiment typique portugais jusqu'à la fin. Prix vraiment abordable. 39€ pour 2 personnes avec plat + dessert + vin.

16/09/2024: This has to be the best restaurant in Lagos. It is tiny so we were lucky to have booked ahead. The food was utterly delicious. Superb quality gourmet gorgeousness. They brought celery to a new level!!! My normally fussy daughter had this which was very adventurous for her, but she adored it. I had the vegan lasagne and it was fabulous. We both had chocolate parfait with red fruits and the flavour was intoxicatingly vibrant and beautiful. The best desert I’ve ever had. I wanted to go again before we left but was inconsolable to find it was closed Saturday and Sunday so we couldn’t. Whether you are vegan, veggie or a meat eater this has to be on your list of restaurants to go to in Lagos. I would seriously go back on holiday to Lagos just to go there again!

20/06/2024: Super nettes kleines Restaurant mit vorzüglichem vegetarischen Essen. Auch eine gute Auswahl an glutenfreie Gerichten. Sehr zu empfehlen!

24/10/2024: The service is just abominable the staff look miserable and worn out some could even do with a wash or new uniform . It takes an age to get a drink and I think had become a victim of its success. Employee engagement is definitely not on the owners objective so won’t be back . Brookes next door a completely different story. However the steak sandwich looked good and was devoured by one in the group

19/10/2024: Locale poco lontano dal centro di Albufeira, accogliente, atmosfera famigliare, frequentato anche da portoghesi. Abbiamo mangiato dei gamberi e delle vongole molto ben preparati e serviti. Servizio cordiale e veloce, abbiamo pagato il giusto con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo, ci siamo trovati veramente bene.

05/07/2024: Altijd goede bediening Zalig eten, vis , kip maar ook zalige biefstuk of een spies met mix gril, typisch Portugees. Binnen en buiten eten is altijd gezellig .

23/05/2024: Un resto à ne pas manquer si vous passez dans le coin ! Les maquereaux sont délicieux. Le menu à 12 euro est à prendre. Le serveur parle anglais et est très sympa. La terrasse est à côté des vignes, Quinta do Frances que nous avons visité juste avant. Une bien belle surprise !

02/10/2024: What a great place to have the most refreshing glass of lemonade and gorgeous salad (coriander foam is such a wonderful surprise addition). Highly recommend having your lunch here in the grounds of Silves Castle.
