09/09/2024: A unique and excellent experience. The food really felt like a labour of love by the chef. With everything locally sourced including ingredients and wine and even the table ware. Every fifteen days he cooks the meal for just two people and we were the lucky ones.

04/04/2024: Este é um local que serve a comida local certa em um ambiente local. A comida tem um sabor simplesmente perfeito e o serviço é rápido. O anfitrião fala bem inglês. Uma desvantagem, eles aceitam apenas dinheiro.

29/09/2024: We wanted a casual and comfortable dinner the first night we arrived in Lagos. Viva fit the bill. Vasile and Natalia were absolutely charming. We had the special - Grilled Bream and boiled potatoes and it was out of this world delicious. Our mouths are still watering. We also had Greek salad and the grilled octopus app and the calamari. All Yummy!! We lived Viva and revisited two more times while in Lagos. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The morning we were scheduled to take the train to Lisboa, we walked down to Viva from the hotel to see if we might be able to score sandwiches for the train ride. Natalia put together some beautiful cured ham and cheese sandwiches for our long train ride. Perfect lunch for us. Thank you Natalia and Vasile. Stop into Viva while in Lagos - don’t miss this gem!!

31/08/2024: Realmente muito bom! Estávamos aqui na hora do almoço e o lugar encheu rapidamente. Não só os “pratos principais” eram deliciosos, mas as tapas também eram um sonho. A equipe foi muito simpática e tanto a comida quanto as bebidas nos foram trazidas rapidamente. Definitivamente vale a pena uma visita. Uma reserva faria sentido.

23/08/2024: Estava tudo muito gostoso, pudemos até comer dentro de casa com nosso cachorro. A única coisa ruim é que comemos bem e são mini porções, é bom petiscar alguma coisa ou tomar uma bebida, o lugar é muito legal.

12/09/2024: Nice place to get a healthy lunch. Also great for take away. Everything is freshly made, and not expensive at all. Smoothies are nice too and affordable.

Definitivamente voltarei novamente se eu estivesse de passagem. Garçonete muito ocupada e amigável ao mesmo tempo. Qualidade máxima.

23/09/2024: the food was excellent, tasty, innovative. the service was very nice. and the tables outside, in the narrow street super nice. the minus comes from the slowness: 2 plates took 2 hrs. we did not have time to stay for dessert, which was a pity. recommended! reservation a must.

22/09/2024: Tout était parfait ! La ruelle typique avec de jolies lumières, les serveurs adorables, les plats excellents et splendides ! Le tout pour un vraiment bon rapport qualité prix au vu de la qualité des plats. Endroit coup de cœur !

21/09/2024: What a wonderful restaurant. The service was friendly and exemplary in all respects and all the staff were knowledgeable about the menu. The range of dishes made choices difficult and every one we had was perfect. A terrific combination of flavours and sensible portions. Great value for money.

18/09/2024: We have been to Amara on a few different occasions now. But each time it gets better and better! The service is second to non, value for money, wine pairing excellent (really well performed) & the food if gorgeous

12/06/2024: Menu á 10 euros avec 1 plat principal (tous les jours differents), 1 dessert et 1 verre de vin plus 3 petits amuse-gueule le tout est bien presenté, dans une salle soignée au en terrasse, une belle vaisselle, un personnel delicat ...quoi demander de plus pour ce prix imbattable dans la region.

22/09/2024: Nous l'avons découvert par hasard en se baladant et franchement nous ne sommes pas déçu. L'accueil est très chaleureux, l'endroit est sympa très bien décoré, très propre. Le personnel est attentionné. La cuisine est excellente et originale, le mélange des saveurs est très bon. Merci à toute l'équipe pour ce déjeuner 👍

22/09/2024: We had an evening meal at this restaurant when we visited Faro, and really enjoyed it. We shared a couple of tapas-style starters; anchovies on bruschetta, and a very British dish of egg, sausage and chips, both were delicious. My wife had squid for her main course, and I had the salmon. Again both dishes were very good. Friendly service and reasonable prices too.
