18/08/2024: Au sortir d'une rando assez facile le long d'une lavada (au départ de Prazeres même), nous avons décidé d'aller manger un petit bout dans le village, et juste en face de l'Eglise, à l'angle de la rue, se trouve cet établissement. On y sert une petite restauration de très belle qualité (toasts, tartes, pâtisseries, jus de fruits,...), servie copieusement et avec le sourire. Devant une carte "réduite" par rapport à leurs habitudes alimentaires, nos enfants ont choisi des toasts aux saveurs "révolutionnaires" pour eux, et ils ont adoré, c'est dire ! Bref, ce café n'est pas le restaurant où vous ferez le gueuleton de votre vie, mais notre passage là-bas s'est révélé aussi sympathique qu'appétissant. Très bien.

07/12/2024: Très très bon cocktails à des prix raisonnables. L’accueil est aussi excellent que la musique. En revanche, contentez vous de prendre un ou des cocktails. La planche à partager est vraiment bof…

20/09/2024: Echt een aanrader veel keuze en lekkere cocktails en genoeg bier alchohol als je kan komen tijdens happy hour zeker doen tussen 17u en 18u30. Hele goede en vriendelijke service

15/11/2024: Il faudra vraiment m'expliquer pourquoi on considere cet endroit comme un restaurant. Vous pouvez manger toutes les sucreries de la carte sans soucis si vous n'avez pas peur du gras. Pour les plats salés c'est une autre histoire...

12/11/2024: Wir sind jedes Jahr in der Altstadt unterwegs und kehren immer im O.Giro ein. Die Churros sind Klasse! Aber auch die anderen Snacks sind super.

01/11/2024: We came here based on the TripAdvisor reviews. We booked it in the daytime for that evening. The staff are so enthusiastic and friendly. The steak was divine. The price was very reasonable, it would have cost a lot more at home in England. Would 100% recommend. We booked and would recommend booking as it is clearly popular and you might not get a table if you turn up.

30/10/2024: A great place to eat if you love a good steak cooked exactly the way you want it. We had a rib eye and sirloin. We were lucky, we went early as we hadn't booked and managed to get a table. Lots of people ended up being turned away as they were full. Great sides to accompany your steak. The team were welcoming, helpful and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

04/11/2024: Sempre que posso tomo café ou chá no UAU cacau do Plaza Funchal, onde todo o staff é de uma simpatia extrema e de uma amabilidade infinita. Parabéns tanto pelos produtos que apresentam como também pela qualidade excelente do atendimento por parte do staff lá existente. Que continue assim para que possa usufruir sempre do vosso serviço.

10/08/2024: Had three visits here over a week's holiday ...for pingo (espresso with a tiny bit of milk), cakes, special drinks (coffee with chocolate ice-cream) and treats to bring home The prices are very reasonable approx 4e for a special drink and 1-2 for cafe/pingo. The chocolatees are a delight too so many gorgeous shapes, colours and flavours. We paid 12e for a box of mix and match of 10 chocolates of our own choosing. You can just buy one chocolate to have with a coffee and sit outside. The staff are kind, friendly and very patient especially whilst you make your chocolate selection It does get busy and some tour groups do visit. If looking for the chocolate shop it's just up from the bank of Portugal and on the side street opposite the pharmacy with gothic (ISH) I think architecture We loved their chocos so much we brought 3 boxes home with us -1 of the boxes just had coffee flavouring as we loved them soo much

03/04/2024: Atendimento super simpático e simpático, recepção calorosa e desde o primeiro momento você se sente bem 😀 Cardápio pequeno (várias Espetadas, Smash Burgers e pizza Bolo do Caco), mas tudo extremamente delicioso!!! Opções vegetarianas e veganas, muuuito deliciosas também, assim como a batata-doce frita 🤤 Obrigado por esta ótima noite, voltaremos! P.S.: Onde você consegue esse queijo vegano na ilha??

02/04/2024: Um pequeno restaurante maravilhoso. Está no trilho da caminhada dos balcões. Equipe muito simpática e uma boa seleção de comida e bebida. A sopa e o sanduíche de bife estavam deliciosos. Há uma pequena área de estar na parte de trás com uma bela vista. Recomendo parar para comer alguma coisa.

27/10/2024: Très bonne poncha et bonne ambiance le soir ! Dommage qu’il n’y ai pas plus de places assises… attention aussi au quartier, pas bien fréquenté quand on rentre un peu tard le soir.

02/10/2024: Realmente disfrutamos de nuestros bocadillos y zumo. Ingredientes frescos y de alta calidad utilizados - pan muy sabroso, aguacate, salmón, hummus, tomates, fruta de la pasión y hierbas. ¡Probablemente los mejores bocadillos que hemos probado en mucho tiempo! No solo disfrutamos mucho de la comida, sino que la experiencia 'Fantástica' fue fabulosa también. Entretenidas y divertidas historias de Rubén, junto con información interesante sobre la comida. 01/10/2024: Leuk lokaal tentje. Eten kwam snel en werden vriendelijk bedient. Ruime openingstijden waardoor we de moeite namen naar Santana te rijden.

13/11/2024: Era temprano, como las 20:30 y prácticamente todos los negocios ya no servían cena. Al tener coche nos acercamos a este negocio que tenia comida para llevar y fue un acierto. Buenos precios, variedad, lugar acogedor y señor muy amable. La pizza está súper cargada y deliciosa y la brocheta riquísima. Lo recomiendo.

21/09/2024: SUPER LEKKER!! 1 van de beste restaurantjes op het eiland 😎 Ik heb kalkoenfilet gegeten met champignons en het was echt super lekker!! Ideaal gekruid en verse groentjes erbij geserveerd. Voor een simpel, maar lekker etentje —> moet je hier komen !!

21/10/2024: Ausgezeichnetes Essen zwischen all den touristischen Restaurants. Hier wird mit Leidenschaft gekocht und mit einer aussergewöhnlichen Herzlichkeit bedient. Wir waren zweimal in einer Woche dort! Danke für diese Genuss Reise.

09/10/2024: We ate her twice during our stay. The staff are attentive and the food is very good. Great location in the old Town and there is live music in the square most evenings. Would highly recommend.

26/10/2024: We had both our first and last dinner at this place and for good reason: it was friendly, welcoming, tasty and reasonable. Our first encounter with the local garlic bread, the delicious limpets and their house specialty, the shrimps jordão were all reasons enough to return on our last night. Sitting outside at their tables flanking the main square of Santa Cruz, sipping on the local poncha proved so much fun right after arrival from (and just before return to) autumn in Central Europe.

22/10/2024: O restaurante foi uma ótima surpresa! A comida era excelente, com pratos muito saborosos e bem preparados, especialmente considerando o preço justo. O atendimento fez toda a diferença, todos extremamente simpáticos e atenciosos. Fomos atendidos pelo senhor Martinho, que foi muito prestável e garantiu que tivéssemos tudo o que precisávamos. O senhor Edar também se destacou pela gentileza e atenção. Com certeza, um lugar para voltar e recomendar! ☺️

15/09/2024: Here you will find the best Poncha in Madeira! Always freshly made, in this cosy bar. The atmosphere is good, and the service is friendly. Too bad we stayed too far in the second half of our vacation to have the best Poncha! 😉

05/09/2024: Very tasty punch and plate with cheese and meat! I thought about ordering another one! Local cheese is very tasty with toasted bread and fig confiture. You can also buy local wine and taste it for free. I recommend it!
