11/10/2024: We had coffee here 3 times in our 10 day holiday. It has a calm and peaceful ambience with a lovely welcome. The coffee served is good (I also bought a bag of coffee she ground for me fresh, and I returned for more when I'd finished it!) and the chocolate pie - dairy free and gluten free - is a must. A place for locals and tourists alike to relax and chat.

17/05/2024: Leuk om in Portugal in je eigen taal te spreken 🤭 (Nederlands) Hele leuke zaakje!! Hele vriendelijke uitbater met passie voor het vak. Heerlijke cappuccino, espresso, appeltaart, warme choco en golden latte. Echt de moeite!!

17/10/2024: Insgesamt durchaus lecker Teilchen, aber nur zum Mitnehmen. Wir haben den Fehler gemacht uns hinzusetzen, es ist so dermaßen stark beduftet (Raumduftspender) dass wir das Etablissement mit Kopfschmerzen verlassen mussten.

15/09/2024: Ainsi que sa dénomination l’indique, la Pastelaria Tavirense est une pâtisserie de Tavira (si avec ça, vous n’avez rien appris, je ne sais plus quoi faire 😊). Située à l’entrée de la ville lorsque l’on passe par le pont médiéval, elle dispose d’une grande salle mais est très fréquenté et il se peut qu’à compter de 10h30-10h45, vous tombiez sur une période de rush. Mon épouse et moi nous y sommes arrêtés à l’occasion de la visite de la ville. A la différence des différents vestiges de Tavira, cette pâtisserie est moderne, son sol gris clair et son mobilier coordonné donne cette impression d’adresse qui ne s’endort pas sur une époque. La salle est climatisée, une télévision diffuse les informations sans son et l’ensemble des lieux est d’une propreté qui colle avec la qualité de ce qui est présenté en vitrine. Tout est net. La fréquentation est familiale et chacun vient pour manger sa pâtisserie préférée. Il y a le choix entre les viennoiseries, les cakes et autres gâteaux à base de génoise. Si le sourire n’est pas compris dans le service, ce n’est pas pour l’équipe que je me suis rendu dans cette pâtisserie, mais pour ses sympathiques pasteis de nata. La commande se fait au comptoir et tout vous est servi sur un plateau bleu roi. Les pasteis de nata étaient froids (ce qui n’est pas une critique), la pâte feuilletée était très bonne et c’est une saveur vanillée qui en ressortait. Nous les avons accompagnés d’un cappuccino dont la mousse de lait était saupoudrée de cannelle. Un grand verre d’eau nous a été servi à première demande. Pour cette pause gourmande et réussie, nous avons payé 9.60 euros, ce qui n’est rien par rapport aux prix pratiqués en France bien évidemment. En Algarve, deux petites pâtisseries et deux boissons chaudes vous reviendront à moins de dix euros. Cela n’est pas cher et permet un moment détente sucré bienvenu avant ou après la visite de la belle ville de Tavira.

05/08/2024: This was the most expensive Pizza I have ever paid for in my life. The price ranges from 19E to 25E for approximately 6 slices. WAY OVER PRICED! When I think Pizza, I think reasonable or moderately priced. It is not Filet Mignon, Lamb Chops or Duck; nothing exotic about Pizza. When they advertised Brick Oven, I thought Wow this is really going to be good aligned with the other restaurants I have enjoyed at Pine Cliffs Luxury Resort. It was such a major disappointment. Our total bill was 100 euros for 2 Pizzas and Appetizer Selacao de Queijos E Charcutaria Italianos which translates to Italian Cheese and Small Charcuterie Selections. To drink one Peroni Beer and one glass of White Wine for my friend. The bread, the overall taste was very ordinary, definitely NOT Italian, the Pizza dough or the ingredients. WE were very Disappointed! We both felt like we had been Robbed! A total rip-off, I would not recommend it.

02/10/2024: O'Paulo on R.Alves Correìa is a really good bar in the old town that offers a well priced drink's range and is as local as it gets.It's a proper local Portuguese bar and it's a bar we've visited a few times. This superb local bar has an excellent look and feel with many interesting fixture's and feature's relating to Portugal.There's lots of good seating options throughout it's whole interior and was a joy to visit. We visited here early in the afternoon on a roasting hot day and it was extremely busy but it didn't take us that long to get served in here.When we went to here we had a few bottles of Sagres brewery beers which that were served iced cold and were really well priced. An excellent local Portuguese bar in a very lively area of Albufeira's old town and it's a bar that's well worth visiting.(This is my first review of O'Paulo). Opening Hours. Monday-Saturday-11.00-02.00. Sunday-Closed.

15/08/2024: Un personnel peu agréable… service long pendant le repas.. débarrasse les assiettes pendant que certain mange encore… Petite quantité pour grand prix

20/07/2024: Péssimo! Limonada é apenas água com limao e folhas de ortelã, o queijo da tosta nem derretido estava e havia muito pouco sabor. Experiencia a nao repetir!

04/10/2024: Cocktails super lecker, Bedienung freundlich und schnell, direkt am Fluss. Was will man mehr. Gegessen haben wir jedoch nicht. Darüber kann ich nichts sagen.

03/10/2024: Beautiful location. Thought I hit the jack pot. Music was Beautiful and the form was good. Dinner arrived. I proceeded to eat my chicken and thought it rubbery until I discovered it was not even cooked. Raw flesh of the chicken was staring back at me. I sent it back to the kitchen and to be fair they did take the price of the bill. The drinks were way more expensive than the other 2 restaurants each side of this restaurant. I will not be going back to cafe na ria.

05/08/2024: I recently visited Caddyshack Bar and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from. The service was excellent, with the staff being friendly and attentive throughout our visit. It's a great spot to start your day with a hearty meal and excellent service. Highly recommended!

18/07/2024: Service was okay, one of the British women was lovely however the other women wasn’t so pleasant. Food was quick, however for the price of the food I expected better. The fish and chips were all frozen and this was approx 16€ for dry frozen food. Frozen onion rings for 6€!!! The chicken tenders were 12€ which was a starter and came on their own. For a lunch time of frozen food should not come to 48€. Over priced and no fresh food bar the salad. The vegetables looked like pre made steam bags. Not great for quality rethink before wanting to eat here. However it does appear okay for a drink/ cocktail etc..

12/07/2024: Não tem melhorado nada. Pelo contrário. Espaço mal organizado e com um aspecto antigo. A precisar de um bom decorador. Atendimento confuso e só ao balcão. Quem faz um sumo faz depois uma tosta e recebe o pagamento. Luvas nem sinal.

05/10/2024: On a recent visit to Albufeira we ate at SolCaffe twice as it was near our hotel. Breakfast on both occasions was lovely, such a good choice & value good. Staff are busy but polite & helpful. Food is delicious & very well presented. Highly recommend.

29/09/2024: Got breakfast here, Was OK, but beans a bit cold… and egg needs a bit longer in the grill.. service is good. Location is good. Be careful as they do not issue a bill , they just tell u what you owe. We paid up but on hindsight we got over overcharged by approx 30% . So ask for a bill !!

27/09/2024: We had a great night here. Nice dinner and then a quiz. Great value for money. Cocktails were delicious. Staff are friendly too

01/09/2024: Decent enough bar very good for the football food less than bang average pub food not fresh mainly heated up from frozen powdered potatoes you get what you pay for I suppose they will purchase the cheapest of ingredients and try to make as much profit as possible which is a shame it's a decent bar would return but I will remain hungry the next time
