25/05/2024: This restaurant is a true gem of Lisbon, if you are looking for good authentic Indian food. My five stars to their Paneer Makhni masala, Dal Makhni, Mutton kebabs, Mutton Biryani, Nans. If you crave for eating mutton dishes, this is the place where you can find juicy soft mutton kebabs, soft mutton pieces in biryani, & I loved their fresh fluffy soft butter & garlic Nans. They are unforgettably good.

08/09/2024: For lunch, my girlfriend and I visited this interesting restaurant. People were very welcoming and friendly. Service at the table perfect. Their cuisine comprehends moroccan and Indian dishes, we tried both and were super. Price perfect :)

04/09/2024: I have been exploring the Indian food scene of Lisbon and this is now a go to restaurant. Food is plentiful and tasty. prices are very good. Will try the tangine next time there.

10/08/2024: I have dined at Maharani in Area Branca a few times, which offers a fairly average dining experience. The food is decent, with some dishes standing out more than others. However, the flavors are not authentic; for example, the butter chicken is extremely sweet. What really left a sour taste in my mouth twice already is the unexpected addition of a tip to the bill without any prior notice. While I understand that tipping is customary, I believe it should be at the discretion of the customer, not automatically added without informing us. This lack of transparency felt quite unprofessional and leaves me feeling a bit taken advantage of. In comparison, I had a much better experience at Maharani in Peniche. The staff there are friendlier, and the food is of higher quality, making the overall dining experience far more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a more pleasant and satisfying meal, I would recommend trying the restaurant in Peniche instead. We often go there when we want to have Indian food even though we stay in Area Branca.

25/10/2024: Después de visitar aquí, no puedo entender por qué este lugar es recomendado en tantas guías. No te molestes en venir, la comida es bastante promedio, el servicio es pobre, falta ambiente. Las reseñas que leí antes de venir deben estar desactualizadas

08/10/2024: Lækker mad med skaldyr og fisk med afrikansk twist. Venlig betjening og ok priser. Meget afslappet måltid. Kan varmt anbefales.

10/10/2024: Good variety of vegetarian food as well as a lovely lamb dish. The naan bread was tasty and we really appreciated having kombucha to drink.

26/03/2024: Boa experiência, recepção calorosa, equipe atenciosa. Infelizmente achei a porção de Rosbife muito pequena vendida para 2 pessoas. Muitas batatas fritas, mas muito pouca carne. Além disso, foi perfeito. Para fazer de novo sem hesitação.

05/08/2024: Fui hoje a primeira vez e adorei a experiência. Comida típica indiana no seu melhor, excelente tempero e os molhos são fantásticos. Fomos por volta do meio dia e havia bastantes lugares, não foi necessário marcação.

22/09/2024: A comida estava maravilhosa, e com muito bom aspecto. Os funcionários, sempre muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Como fomos ao restaurante e uma das pessoas fazia anos, deixaram-nos cantar os parabéns, e até substituiram a música ambiente só para colocar uma música de aniversário. Recomendo!

15/11/2024: I seldom write bad restaurant reviews, but this one had to be written. My husband and I ordered Tandoori prawns. After a while, we were told there were no prawns and that they would serve us shrimp. When the meal arrived there was none of that wonderful smell that comes with tandoori cooking. What you saw was a very large pile of raw cabbage covering the entire plate. Then we tasted the shrimp. Total mush. We actually thought that it might make us sick later on. The shrimp couldn’t have been fresh. The accompany sauce, that we thought might be the redeeming factor, was bland and tasteless. The reason I gave Masala Indian Restaurant a 1 was because the naan was the best we had ever had.

08/11/2024: This restaurant has.a very nice interior and exterior and it is the most popular restaurant in a town with several Indian restaurants. The service is friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the cuisine was not quite right. OK, but not as we expected from a North Indian restaurant.

14/07/2024: Comida excelente, aconselho o Caril de Gambas. Atendimento muito agradável. A repetir :) Espaço acolhedor. Boa surpresa.
