30/08/2025: Açorda de sapateira muito boa e bem servida…erámos 2 pessoas mas dava à vontade para 3 pessoas porque sobrou bastante! Já tinha noutra ocasião provado o arroz de marisco e a massa de peixe. Peixe e marisco de muita qualidade e confecção dos pratos também! Doses muito generosas!

29/09/2025: Hoje fui almoçar com a minha família e apesar de o espaço ser muito agradável, o serviço é do pior que há! Os empregados super super super lentos, sem postura, encostados ao balcão com os braços cruzados e cabeça para baixo como se estivessem a dormir (2 fizeram isto). No mínimo 30min para trazerem alguma coisa, enganaram-se e esqueceram-se várias vezes… enfim, o staff tornou a experiência muito desagradável infelizmente.

20/09/2025: Gostei de tudo menos do artista da grelha que depois vim a saber que era o patrão. Comemos um pregado e mais unas lulas. Perguntei ao artista o preço do pregado ele disse que não era ao kilo mas que os mesmos tinham já um preço feito. Após várias vezes questionado por este e por outros pregados maiores e menores, começou a confusão de preços, pois está tudo dito. Normalmente este tipo de peixes vende-se ao kilo e quando queremos ser mais espertos que os outros fazemos desta maneira. Não voltarei a este restaurante.

29/09/2025: Os restaurantes de Almada são conhecidos pela alta qualidade da comida portuguesa, e o Mirrita não decepciona. O Bacalhau à Mirrita, uma versão do tradicional Bacalhau à Casa, servido com molho amanteigado leve, é excelente. Recomendo.

03/06/2025: Review for Ponto Final – The TikTok Viral Restaurant An unfortunate and frustrating experience from start to finish. We arrived at 7:40 PM and weren’t seated until 9 PM—nearly 2.5 hours later. Since they don’t take reservations after 7 PM, it’s first come, first served. What they don’t mention is that you’ll need to wait about an hour just to get your name on the list… and then queue again to grab drinks while you wait to be seated. That line took another hour, and we were left standing outside in freezing winds, sharing bread and olives on a stone ledge by the water as the sun set and the cold set in. After all that waiting, our name was skipped entirely on the waitlist. We watched multiple groups who arrived well after us get seated ahead. When I pointed this out to the gray-haired host (whom everyone seems to rave about), he gave a half-hearted apology and finally seated us—almost three hours after we arrived. Because we had been out in the cold for so long, we asked to be seated inside. Once inside, we sat for 20 minutes without any acknowledgment. No waiter approached us for drink orders, nothing. It was our last night in Portugal, and we felt invisible. When we finally placed our order, I opened the menu only to find it covered in black mold. I lost my appetite. I flagged it to our waiter, who didn’t seem to care. Meanwhile, every table around us was getting great service and attention. We felt completely disregarded. We were seated at 9 PM. Our food didn’t arrive until 10:40 PM—20 minutes before closing. Even then, it came in parts. My partners veal arrived much earlier than expected, and my grilled sardines were delayed another 15–20 minutes after that. I had to flag down a different server—not even ours—to check on our food. Our assigned waiter never once came to check in. As a waitress from New York, I understand the chaos of busy nights—but this was unacceptable. We rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so disappointing it felt like a joke. We paid the same as everyone else, yet were treated as if we didn’t matter. When we brought our concerns to the host at the end of the night, he brushed it off with, “Well, we have good reviews.” That’s not the point. You took our time and money, and our experience didn’t reflect your supposed standards. The arrogance was disheartening. They comped dessert but still charged for water—what a joke. He blamed how busy the restaurant was, but every other table was properly taken care of. It almost felt personal. The food was good, but the treatment was honestly heartbreaking. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.

03/06/2025: Ponto Final If you follow Netflix’s “Somebody Feed Phil,” their first episode was set in Portugal and featured a restaurant at the end of the world, aptly named Ponto Final. Trust me, it’s easier to find your way around New York or Manila than this place. After a ferry ride from Lisbon to Casilhas across the Tagus River, a bus ride where Google made us stop sooner (we should have listened to the old lady who told us to get off later), and navigating through graffiti-infested small alleys, we finally arrived at the edge of a cliff wall, deciding to what seemed like a torn-down cannery. It definitely felt like a scene from The Twilight Zone. Descending nearly 80 steps, we finally saw those familiar yellow metal tables and chairs. Whew! We made it. But wait, we had to wait an hour since we couldn’t get reservations. Finally, we got to sit down. This better be good, Phil, or I’ll stop watching Netflix. My sister recommended this place to us as well. Our grilled sardines and fried horse mackerel were cooked to perfection, but the side of tomato rice was the real surprise. Everything was done just right, and who needs ambiance when you can hear the waves crashing about 10 feet from your table and enjoy the breathtaking view of Lisbon? If you’re lucky, you’ll get that table at the end where you can just fall into the ocean if you had one too many glasses of wine. Getting back to the ferry was another adventure. Thankfully, the elevator was working (yesterday it wasn’t), and just imagine climbing that cliff wall while full of food. Other than getting there and back, I would highly recommend Ponto Final for all the right (and even wrong) reasons. It will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark in our memories.

21/09/2025: Espetacular restaurante típico de Setúbal. A comida é de primeira qualidade e o local é muito pitoresco, com direito a camisas de futebol, o que deve ser típico de lá. A comida é realmente fantástica e, se você for espanhol, há um garçom muito simpático que te entende perfeitamente. O cara da fritura é incrível.

12/10/2025: Este costumava ser o nosso restaurante de peixe favorito em Sesimbra, agora nem tanto! Reservamos com uma semana de antecedência, mas, para nossa surpresa, o lugar estava praticamente vazio. Então, pedimos um prato de forno, a garçonete disse que vinha com pão, não que era feito de pão velho. Pegamos uma panela, ela adicionou uma gema de ovo crua e mexeu, o que só pode ser descrito como um ensopado de peixe com pão. Parecia que alguém já tinha comido e vomitado de volta, e o gosto era o mesmo. Também pedimos as vieiras, que chegaram malpassadas! Nossos vizinhos gentilmente nos ofereceram uma salada de frutos do mar, da qual aparentemente eles também não gostaram, e que só pode ser descrita como frutos do mar irreconhecíveis. Quase não tocamos em nenhum dos nossos pratos, a garçonete não se importou, pagou o preço integral e fomos para o restaurante ao lado. Nunca mais!

10/10/2025: Comida horrível, especialmente a açorda de sapateira, evitar! As raparigas que servem a mesa fazem o possível mas são só duas, insuficiente para um espaço daquele tamanho (interior e esplanada coberta). O dono é insuportavelmente mal educado, riu-se por lhe ter perguntado se tinha vinhos de Pegões (um produtor barato mas com muita qualidade). É um restaurante tipicamente para turistas, que vão uma vez e não voltam mais. Que pena!

07/09/2025: A comida é razoável assim como o ambiente. O aspeto menos positivo é a falta de cuidado na limpeza dos "artigos" que são partilhados pelos clientes, como o galheteiro.

30/08/2025: Local a evitar. Comida de má qualidade, serviço de mesa entre os piores que já pude experimentar. Não voltarei enquanto a gerência for a atual.
