23/09/2024: O Zeca is nearer the beach and rather quieter than those in Portinho Da Arradida. We had a lovely lunch with delicious fish soup. Great views out to sea and very good service from the team headed by Patricia. This is a gorgeous spot.

16/09/2024: Food was average but at the same time charging big city prices for wine, appetizers, entrees , and deserts were way overpriced for the quality of service, presentation, appearance. They have out priced themselves for locals to afford average. We ate the massa de peixe which had lots of pasta, 2 shrimp, and small pieces of fish they must have counted. Not worth the price eating much better in other areas of the region.

22/08/2024: Incrível como o dono do restaurante pode ser tão desagradável e estragar uma casa. Tínhamos mesa marcada mas saímos sem jantar depois do Sr. se alterar, ser desagradável e mal-educado. Se no passado recomendava este restaurante a amigos e familiares pela cozinha que têm, a partir deste momento só posso falar mal e não o recomendar. É possível comer bem e ser bem atendido noutros restaurantes. Era o que faltava ter de pagar para ser atendida de forma rancorosa e desagradável. O dinheiro custa muito a ganhar para depois ser dado a alguém, que estando em atendimento ao público, não tem a mínima noção do que isso significa. Não voltarei e já contei o episódio a várias pessoas que conhecem o espaço.

13/09/2024: Marquei mesa para 4 pessoas para as 19h e a essa hora telefonei para o Sr. Ricardo a comunicar que só chegaria pelas 19h30m. Respondeu que “ ou está às 19h ou vai para a fila”. Ainda argumentei invocando a minha qualidade de cliente habitual, mas não tive sucesso. Cancelei a reserva, como é óbvio. Considero lamentável que tratem os clientes portugueses desta forma, e bajulem os estrangeiros

07/09/2024: Confesso que esperava melhor em função das avaliações que vi. A comida era apenas razoável. Esplanada desagradável com carros estacionados demasiado próximo das mesas.

29/07/2024: Come-se bem e os colaboradores são a alma da casa. Desta vez comemos um arroz de marisco muito bom, só mudava a qualidade do arroz para um mais cremoso.

08/10/2024: Our reservation had specified a table downstairs inside the restaurant, and I was disconcerted when we were shown upstairs, which was completely empty. I was not happy and asked again for a table downstairs, where there was a selection of tables available. Not a good start. Next when we ordered our meal I asked the waiter if he could recommend a white wine - he immediately recommended the most expensive and then when I asked what else he recommended, he then recommended the cheapest. So I asked what grape variety was in another mid-priced wine, He clearly had not got a clue and just said it was dry. However our meal began promisingly with a starter of Clams in a Garlic and Coriander sauce. The dish was delightful, with the sauce being particularly flavourful and enhancing the natural sweetness of the clams. However, the main course brought an unexpected turn. My husband ordered the Red Mullet with Foie Gras, Razor Clams, and rice. The dish arrived looking visually appealing, but the razor clam component had been cooked in the rice to form a risotto. And the small pieces of razor clam in the risotto were grey, not the edible tube, but rather the part typically discarded due to sand and debris. While mistakes can happen, it was disconcerting to find that all the clam pieces mixed into the rice were the inedible parts. We could clearly see all the black "poop" in the risotto. How could such a dish be served without scrutiny? We brought the issue to the waiter's attention, and after several discussions with other staff members, one waiter instead of taking the plate away picked up a fork and removed the offending clam parts from the risotto. He then returned a few minutes later with several whole razor clams in their shells, but without any real explanation or apology. In conclusion, our visit was marred by a significant lapse in quality control. The initial charm of the restaurant and the delicious starter were overshadowed by the main course mishap and the lack of proper resolution. I have to also mention my main course, which was the octopus. Whilst it tasted OK the presentation left a lot to be desired. It just looked as if everything had been dumped on the plate. It was nothing like the wonderful octopus we had eaten the night before in Casa Mateus. We decided not to risk ordering a pudding. Out total bill came to €103, which I thought was a rip-off for such poor food. My personal recommendation would be to avoid this restaurant - there are lots of much better restaurants in Sesimbra.

03/10/2024: Restaurant lumineux face à la mer. On y a mangé un poisson (du robalo), un régal, cuisson parfaite, accompagné de pommes de terre et légumes bien assaisonnés. Super. 64€/kg. Soupe de poisson excellente. En entrée, on a pris des palourdes. Il y en avait 17. 17 palourdes pour 20€ c'est cher. Mais le poisson fut vraiment top. Et le personnel est compétent.

04/11/2024: Boa confecção mas comportamento da gerência do pior. Pediram-me para pagar ao que acedi como é lógico porque queriam fechar a caixa. Qual o meu espanto que após pagamento e estando a acabar de consumir o que já havia pago sou posto na rua porque queriam fechar a porta. Já aqui neste mesmo espaço os elogiei mas hoje foi a última vez que aqui entrei quem assim trata os clientes não precisa deles.

12/10/2024: Para mim um dos melhores restaurantes das redondezas de Lisboa. Nunca nos deixa mal. Boa comida serviço muito bom , eficiente e com umvgrande nivel de atendimento. Merece uma visita

03/10/2024: Steak tuft.asked for meal without fries and went to order extra salad.waiter said there was salad with it.Meal came piled high with fries,salad was lettuce and tomato which was old limp and sour.My wife had crab first which was nice but the prawns came on a bed of the awful old salad.Not good.really disappointed we work hard,save for holiday so please treat your guests with the same standard you would expect when eating food.

30/03/2024: Comida excelente, carne macia, batatas divinais. O camarão top a salada de ovas (que eu não sou apreciadora) estava muito boa. Aspecto bastante negativo: staff arrogante, trombudos e sem humildade para com o cliente.

04/04/2024: Éramos um grupo grande e chegamos um pouco fora de horas às 9 e 45/ e perguntamos se podíamos jantar visto que chegamos de viagem e tínhamos 2 bebés o proprietário veio á porta com cara de poucos amigos e disse" ir comer a outro lado". Ao menos dizia "desculpem mas já tenho a cozinha fechada,ou qualquer desculpa". Muito antipático Fiquei muito decepcionado com aquela atitude.

12/03/2024: Um delicioso arroz de tamboril com gambas que recomendo. Adorei! O leite creme está ao nível do arroz, maravilhoso. Recomemdo.

25/09/2024: The views are incredible, particularly for sunset. Unfortunately, that’s the best I can say about this restaurant. We were brought bread and seasoned butter, and it was put on the table and there was no comment that there would be a charge for it (which there was). We ended up only doing small plates and sharing because there was really nothing appealing as a main course. The menu is overall quite limited.

18/09/2024: Una puesta de sol única, un arroz y un vino maravilloso y sobre todo una atención exquisita y super amable del personal. Repetiremos !

21/09/2024: Some time since we visited this institution (last time we visited we were devastated to find the restaurant closed) and popped in for lunch. As always a wonderful experience, there were four of us and we ordered a portion of prawns in grail butter, clams in garlic butter and “mixed fish for 2”. There was plenty here for four of us and all the dishes were absolutely amazing, luckily we were not planning to kiss anyone in the afternoon, we would have kept a legion of vampires away with our garlic breath. Great value, great food, lovely service. Highly recommended.

19/07/2024: Very good food, we have eaten great octopussy and fried/grilled fishes. Service is OK. Plenty of choices of Portugese dishes. Prices a bit high, however affordable.
