Os melhores restaurantesde cozinha frutos do maren Madeira

13/10/2024: Wir waren heute zum zweiten Mal dort ...und haben noch 11 Tage Urlaub vor uns! Sind bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal dort gewesen. Super leckere Speisen (Fisch, Hase, Rind, Brownie oder Erdbeeren mit Eis), sehr freundliches und spaßiges Person und absolut faire Preise (Gerichte in großer Portion inkl. Beilage für ca. 16 Euro, 0,5 l Bier 3,50, Poncha frisch gemacht 3,60, Glas Hauswein 3,60 Euro). Absolut zu empfehlen! Nachtrag 13.10.2024: Also wir waren jetzt 5 Mal in zwei Wochen dort. Es war immer gleich lecker und das Personal war auch immer gleich freundlich. Die machen ihre Sache absolut gerne und das schmeckt man und man fühlt sich immer wohl. Besonders empfehlen wir den Degenfisch mit Banane, den Lachs mit Früchten-Topping (eine Wahnsinngs-Kombi) und das Thunfischsteak. Auch der Hase ist super lecker. Es dauert nur ein bisschen ihn zu Essen, weil Knochen mit drin sind. Als Nachtisch unbedingt den warmen Schoko-Brownie mit Vanilleeis. Der Kellner liebt seine Erdbeeren und bietet diese jeden Abend jedem Kunden an. Er freut sich total, wenn man ja sagt :-). Die frischen Fische des Tages sehen auch immer super aus, hatten wir aber nicht. Der Poncha ist einer der besten den wir hatten. Hinweis: Manche Fotos stammen noch vom alten Lokal. Am neuen Standort sieht es deutlich "hübscher" aus. Alles tippi-toppi!!!

20/09/2024: We had googled the restaurant which said it was tapas, but when we got there it wasn't but that's OK, looked a nice restaurant. Was busy and they found us a table for 2. Luckily we weren't that hungry when we arrived. Service was soooooo slow, it took nearly an hour to take our food order, looked like a lot of other tables were also waiting, we couldn't work out if there wasn't enough waiting staff or they trying to not put too many orders through to the kitchen. We tried to catch the waiters eye but felt ignored. Tables around us started joking about how long it was taking. The food when it finally arrived was just OK.

20/10/2024: Ja estando em Abril ,no restaurante que gostei muito Desde o carpachio ,ao praros principaos ,a sobremesa ,ao serviço.

10/10/2024: Prompt attention on arrival. - no booking required Escorted to table which was beautifully set. Varied menu to suit all tastes. Both starter and mains were delivered within an acceptable time scale, good quality produce and ample amounts. We had to ask some 30 mins later for the dessert menu. Staff were too busy relaying tables and as sitting in the corner we felt rather neglected. The same happened when waiting for the bill - we ended up going to the bar on leaving and paying on exit. The issue was raised with the staff member who apologised and said she would look into their serving regime. Other wise it’s a glorious restaurant with full view of the beach and hillside. Well worth a visit and we will certainly return again as we ate here on our last visit to Porto Santo!

18/11/2024: Had a fabulous meal in Franco's corner. Food and service was excellent.Would highly recommend a visit here. Tried the green wine for the first time, it was lovely.

16/11/2024: It's always fabulous to go back to Franco's. Great food, great wine and great service in a lovely environment. The garlic prawns are always delicious and it's always difficult to pick our favourite main. Dessert has to be a chocolate duo.

16/10/2024: Et fantastisk sted, fantastisk mad og ikke mindst fantastisk service👌🏼. Ákuas tjener Victor, sørget for at give os en oplevelse af oplevelser. Det er sjeldent man kommer ud for en tjener som er så nærværende ved alle de borde han servicerede. Maden var fantastisk - spændende og innovativ. Veltillavet med fokus på smag og balance af krydderier og urter. Vi har på alle måder lyst til at komme tilbage den denne perle af restauranter. Virkelig et (eller flere) besøg værd 🙏🏻👌🏼🤩

05/04/2024: Eu recomendo os bifes. Sugiro estar preparado para muita cebola (gosto, então está tudo bem). Atmosfera legal.

03/04/2024: Atendimento excepcionalmente simpático, todos os pratos que experimentamos estavam deliciosos, recomendamos especialmente o bife na pedra quente a todos! Ao redor de um ótimo restaurante e com um preço mais que justo.

12/10/2024: Look forward to our annual visit to Funchal and a few dinners at our favourite restaurant. Great location in the old town, good food at reasonable prices. Staff always very friendly and helpful and good for a laugh - always a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

30/09/2024: We visited the restaurant on a Wednesday evening, the location is lovely but the staff and some of the food could do better, don't get me wrong, the Espetada's were nice, they just weren't as scrumptious as I was expecting. I have seen it some other places in the Old Town and it just looked nicer. The waiters were polite until it came to paying time where they put the bill on your table, totally ignoring you whilst talking to another table about nothing of any matter of fact. It was a bit rude, but he didn't particularly care. I won't be going back, but don't let me put you off.

14/10/2024: Siamo un gruppo trekking di passaggio a Madeira, abbiamo visitato diversi ristoranti, in questo, il servizio è stato celere, i camerieri molto disponibili, attenti e gentili. Ristorante molto pulito pietanze senza aglio se non gradito.

01/10/2024: This restaurant was recommended to us by long-term, regular visitors to Madeira and we were very glad they did. We visited three times for dinner. We were shown the fresh catch of the day and enjoyed a red snapper one evening and shared a lovely sea bream another evening. The fish were superbly cooked as was the succulent, medium-rare chateaubriand on a third evening. Pleasant starters (e.g. the Portuguese mussels) and the desserts (e.g. the apple pie). Nice wine, pleasant ambience and welcoming and attentive staff. Very good value. Many thanks to Jose and the team.

02/04/2024: Comida incrível. O robalo que se come como peixe do dia é delicioso e amanteigado. Não dá para deixar mais fresco, eles são capturados no mesmo dia. As costeletas de cordeiro estão um pouco secas e o molho está bom. As batatas fritas são crocantes, os vegetais assados ​​vêm com couve de Bruxelas. O serviço é ótimo, os servidores são gentis. Definitivamente voltarei se eu estiver na área.

16/09/2024: Já comi varias vezes neste restaurante e sempre comi bem para um restaurante mediano. Aliás, ir lá almoçar ao fds era sinal de espera. A ultima vez que fui não só entramos logo, como não havia quase ninguem no restaurante. Caiu-nos a ficha quando começamos a comer e confirmou-se que a cozinha tinha mudado, cozinheiros e qualidade dos produtos. Pedimos duas espetadas de carne de vaca entre mal e mediamente passadas. Nos mesmos 2 espetos vinha, carne bem passada (sem pinga de sangue), media, mal passada e crua, que foi para trás. E quando digo que foi para trás não foi para passar melhor, foi porque ninguem a quis Já que tinha o sabor do tofu, ou seja, sabia a nada. E nós somos bons garfos :D. E quem é que quer milho frito mole?!? Um restaurante que de razoável/bom, passou a mau.

15/09/2024: Excellent food, and plenty of it, for a very reasonable price! This restaurant came very highly recommended by our hotel concierge in Funchal, and we enjoyed it so much on our first night in Sao Vicente that we came back again the next evening! Very pleasant, attentive waitstaff and fantastic views of the coast made this restaurant one of our favourites during our two weeks here in Madeira!

10/10/2024: Returning again with a warm welcome. Lovely suitable table which we had booked in person previously. Thank you. The Seafood Cream soup excellent and we had the nights ‘Special’ Amberjack fish. Simply grilled with a lavish variety of vegetables and salad with excellent friendly service. ‘Cracking’ bottle of House so a very enjoyable evening thank you again.

08/10/2024: Our evening was fantastic in every way. The meal was delicious and a good selection was offered on the menu. The squid appetizer and the avocado & shrimp were very nice. The espada entree and the filet of beef were outstanding. Our waitress was spectacular! She was personable, attentive and anticipated needs before we knew the ourselves. The owner came by the table a couple of times and clearly has a passion for his business. He wanted to make sure everything was perfect and that we enjoyed all aspects of our evening. He even went as far to have arranged for me to have some of the small Madeira wine glasses. I cannot post enough glowing statements about this restaurant. A true gem which deserves their own constellation made from Michelin stars.

31/03/2024: Fomos servidos com muita simpatia e bebemos um Vinho Verde muito saboroso seguindo uma recomendação. A comida também era boa.

25/03/2024: Pagámos 42€ por uma espade com banana, bife, boco do caco, poncho e 1L de cerveja. Porções muito grandes, restaurante na rua. Saboroso.

27/07/2024: We Got a rotten stinky tuna! We returned it and stiil needed to pay- for rotten tuna! Beside tuna it was 1.5 of potatoe - too expensive for 18 euro- small piece of rotten tuna and 1.5 of potatoe

26/09/2024: Lovely meal as always. All the family enjoy their meals ( Sea bass, Steaks and the Pork Chops). Vegetables cook to perfection. To finish the service very Good. A BIG thank you

15/09/2024: Good restaurant very near to where we were staying. We went on 2 nights and sat outside. The views overlooking Funchal are very good. Service was good on both occasions. We ate the garlic prawns and fish skewers and on the second night shared seafood stew with bread which was delicious. Nice wine and beer. Worth a visit.
