06/02/2024: Comida excelente! Deliciosa. A única coisa na minha opinião pra ficar perfeita seria não ter música. Sinto falta de ambientes sem músicas. Apenas desfrutar de uma boa conversa sem ruídos.

14/09/2024: Simple restaurant, no frills but fabulous seafood ! This is very popular so best to book. Marvellous fresh fish and seafood with a varying menu depending on what has been caught for that day. All meals come with a lovely salad and their fabulous tomato rice is an alternative to fried potatoes. All is great but we particularly enjoyed the Sardines and Anchovies (like whitebait but slightly larger). Staff rush about delivering food and wine and taking orders but the service is very good. We ate here three times in five days as we liked it so much !

14/09/2024: O peixe vinha cru, atendimento muito lento e os acompanhamentos muito fracos! Os preços muito altos para a qualidade do serviço. Experiência a não repetir!

21/10/2024: If you want good seafood, give this place a visit. The seafood was great and fresh. We were bummed out the goose neck barnacles were out of season but the seafood platter for 2 was delicious!

16/10/2024: Unlike tourist eating places in Central Lagos, this restaurant succeeds purely on the quality of its food. The location is nothing special, and the restaurant itself is modest. But the service is friendly & attentive and - most importantly - the seafood is first class. Don't go there to impress: Go there to enjoy excellent food at reasonable prices.

06/10/2024: Fantastisk mad i autentiske ramme. Vi fik 4 skønne retter med fisk Vi anbefaler dette sted så meget Super betjening ,som var søde og imødekommende

11/09/2024: Expectativas muito altas. Marisco na vitrine cozido á mais de dois dias sequíssimo e sem sabor. Atendimento péssimo e a cereja no topo do bolo não tem multibanco e os preços são caríssimos.

Serviço rápido e com alguns vinhos dentro do poder de compra Português e não quadriplicados como parece ser moda, em particular em terras Algarvias...

29/08/2024: Nous avons eu un bon Accueil. Les quantités des plats sont petites. Mon frere a pris une picanya mais on aurait dit que la portion de viande a ete divisé par 3. !!!. Il ya BEAUCOUP DE SEL dans les plats et pourtant nous avions précisé de ne pas mettre beaucoup de sel ayant vécu une mauvaise expérience à ce sujet la veille dans un autre restaurant à Lisbonne. Il faut servir des plats moins salés et les clients rajouteront eux même si ils le souhaitent. Merci

26/08/2024: Grosse déception dans ce restaurant! Nous y sommes allés après avoir pris connaissance des très bons ( trop bons ?) avis. Franchement, j’ai mangé la plus mauvaise Catalana de ma vie ! Une sorte de ragoût infâme qui ne fait pas honneur à la cuisine portugaise. Les frites sont fadasses. Et tout ce qu’on a mangé était dans la même veine. Les serveurs pas souriants. Ils ne même pas à comprendre les demandes des clients. Les prix sont élevés, et les assiettes semblent faites à la va-vite, sans respect, ni pour les produits ni pour le client. Grand regret d’avoir perdu une soirée dans ce restaurant, sachant qu’il y en a de bien meilleurs à Faro. Et le paradoxe, dans tout, cela, c’est qu’il y a beaucoup de monde !!

27/09/2024: Right on the beach behind the Holiday Inn (currently being refurbished) this is a good restaurant offering excellent seafood wine and service at reasonable prices. On our recent visit in September we had Octopus and a Sea Bass fillet. House white wine (blue top) is much better than you might expect and a bottle costs around the same price as a glass in a posh hotel! Total cost for two including drinks and tip Euro 95, very reasonable for the quality provided. Staff were friendly and helpful and they will take bookings in advance. Highly recommended, we will return

29/09/2024: We were excited to try this location because we love fish. We had only just arrived in Faro and it was my wife's 40th birthday. The concierge told them it was her birthday and I emailed them also. They stuck us on a table in the middle of the deck despite us asking to be at the side. We ordered pasta for our 6 year old son, seafood linguine for my wife and I had a Sole. My son's pasta had zero sauce despite us asking for an Alfredo type cream sauce. It was plain penne with no sauce and sprinkled with a little Parmesan. We were give some melted butter to throw on it which helped a little but for €9.50 we expected more. My wife's pasta was flavorless in a small bowl. Again she was offered melted butter to liven it up a bit. My €43 small sole smelled like it had been lying around for days and although supposedly grilled in butter it was crispy and dry. The two sides were salted new potatoes which were like leather balls and one cut up length of broccolini. Each side was €6 so again we expected more. The service was mediocre and to make sure we didn't have a great experience they completely omitted to celebrate my wife's birthday. When I asked the manager about it he just said that nobody told him about it. So there's clearly a disconnect in the service. Lovely location but don’t waste your money.

24/09/2024: The food wasn’t exceptional, given the price. It could have been a lot better. The service was excellent however. The setting is beautiful but we opted to sit inside due to the evenings becoming a little chilly when the sun goes down. A nice relaxing experience.

01/10/2024: Das Essen war in Ordnung, die Bedienung aber katastrophal. Wir hatten einen jungen Kellner, der uns keinen Blick schenkte, sondern immer irgendwo ander hinschaute, kein Lächeln, Demotivation total. Als wir dann bezahlen wollten zeigte sich während 10 Minunten kein einziger Kellner auf der Terrasse. Als dann einer kam, begab er sich an den ersten Tisch beim Ausgang und schaute mit keinem einzigen Blick in die Runde, wo noch 14 andere Leute auf Bedienung warteten. Auch am Ende der Saison erwarte ich, noch anständig bedient zu werden.

22/09/2024: Ambiente cordiale e informale, personale simpatico e disponibile. Pesce freschissimo e vario con menù del giorno molto ampio. Anche i dolci tanti e vari! Assolutamente consigliato.

18/10/2024: We have been visiting Sagres for over 15 years. For most of that time, when it was owned/managed by 2 Dutch females, this was the best restaurant in town. Post Covid, and the retirement of the Dutch owners, the quality and atmosphere diminished significantly. However, this year (September 2024) the quality and atmosphere had improved. While still not back to the pre-Covid levels, it is almost there. Having said all of the above, you can be guaranteed an excellent meal.

17/10/2024: We dined here with family, and while the service was friendly, we were surprised by the bill. My wife and I ordered “Today’s Fish,” which was recommended by the waiter and not listed on the menu. While the fish was good, we weren’t informed of the price, and it turned out to be one of the most expensive items. Other family members had salted cod, which was decent but had too little fish compared to the sides. It would be fairer to either inform customers of the price upfront or price the dish closer to the average of other menu items. More transparency would have improved our experience.

12/10/2024: Wonderful for seafood. Feels like a family style restaurant from the 80s. If you like old school seafood restaurants this place is for you.

25/09/2024: An absolutely superb fresh fish seafood restaurant which also caters to meat lovers and vegetarians. It is a must visit when on Albuferia audit was just a few minutes walk form put apartment superb.an the early bird menu is amazing value for money.

27/09/2024: We visited for lunch with no expectations beyond what we had seen on the menu, which was fairly standard fare. In the event we ordered a selection of small plates, which were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The service was prompt and friendly. Would definitely return.

25/09/2024: Hyper déçu, Malgré une superbe vue les plats du début à la fin était plus que quelquonque à la limite du mangeable. La sangria 3/4 eau sirop de fruit un petit peu de vin donc mauvaise. Les croquettes de canard sans canard, l'efilloché de morue sans goût, Le riz morue et palourde n'était autre que le jus de cuisson du riz avec des morceaux de morue et quelques palourdes jetée dedans avec une tonne de sel pour rehausser le goût. Je déconseille fortement ce restaurant, ne vous laissez pas avoir par le cadre.

03/10/2024: Heerlijk restaurant met geweldige koks. Met zeer goed kwaliteit vlees. En bijzonder vriendelijk personeel. 1 week op vakantie geweest en 2x hier wezen eten omdat het zo goed beviel.

21/09/2024: Vir ao Refúgio do Vincente sempre que venho para o Algarve é obrigatório. A comida é sempre incrível, os funcionários impecáveis e qualidade/preço sem anda a apontar. Já considerado casa.

14/09/2024: Booked a table for my sea food, loving other half. He was in his element with prawns and crab, and I was very happy with my sea bass. This was a very successful meal.

25/08/2024: Nos lo recomendaron y nos defraudó. Pedimos bogavante a la plancha y lo trajeron cocido, las gambas estaban pasadas y el entorno es cutre. Demasiado caro para la calidad que ofrecen.
