13/08/2024: We had a siuperb evening. The staff were first class from start to finish. We had the tasting menu + the pairing wines. The food and wine were excellent. An absolutely delightful setting overlooking the vista to the coastline. Full marks to all!

18/07/2024: We all had the taster menu which is a delight, with the lobster course being simply perfect. The children had a chocolate extravaganza and an ice cream for their desserts and these were works of art as well as being taste sensations!

20/09/2024: Het was excellent. De bediening was uitstekend. Wij hadden een geweldig hoofdmenu. De ribeye was zeer goed en ook de lam was van grote klasse.

19/09/2024: We had a very special dinner perfectly hosted and prepared by the owner (and chef) Vincent. Our visiting friends were most impressed with the offerings and quality of the food. Everything we had from the goat cheese and tomato tart, mussels in puff pastry which was enough to split, to perfectly cooked rib eye steaks, sea bass filet to duck orange…all wonderful. Great wine list, desserts and hospitality! Get a reservation if you can, but leave a place for us. Thank you Vincent for a wonderful evening!

13/09/2024: Superb menu, delicious food, quality wines and lovely atmosphere at this hidden gem in Santa Luzia, Tavira. Vincent takes huge pride in the preparation and presentation of all his incredible dishes. We dined here with friends last night who had never previously visited VINCENT RESTAURANT and we were treated to the most incredible food. Highly recommended the French Onion Soup and the Goat Cheese tartlet to start and the Sea Bass, Pork Cheeks, Octopus as mains. We forced ourselves to taste the puddings and the New York style cheesecake won our vote. The Cheese platter was also top marks! Booking well in advance is essential or you will be disappointed. Thank you Vincent for a wonderful evening.

27/03/2024: We started with a very pleasant experience with amazing appetizers and drinks. As the restaurant got busier, our server disappeared, we placed our order with a new person which was never ordered, and they put a very young family next to us with food being thrown and screaming that continued. We were not offered an option to move and not told that our order was not placed. This was not a language issue as we confirmed our order by pointing to the menu option. This is a higher priced restaurant and being ignored and forgotten was not only a surprise, but made us realize we had had enough. We asked for our check, paid over 75€ for our drinks and appetizers, and left. So unfortunate because what could have been a beautiful night turned bad, and not due to the food and decor!

23/03/2024: Não sabíamos que o menu degustação só era servido após as 19h, mas foi nos logo informado pelo staff. Além de algumas entradas, pedimos o combinado fusão com otima qualidade e uns noodles de frango e camarão que estavam deliciosos.

23/09/2024: Einer der besten Frühstückslocation in Lissabon. Das Personal ist super freundlich und bemüht sich für jeden einen Platz zu finden. Man muss nicht viel Wartezeit einkalkulieren, aber ein wenig Geduld :D. Das Essen ist super frisch und mit viel Liebe hergerichtet.

12/09/2024: Perfect for breakfast or brunch. Delicious coffee and poached eggs. We had the avocado toast and Turkish eggs. The latter was unique and absolutely delicious!

21/10/2024: What a fantastic meal! We had a set meal which included several courses and wine pairing. The food was delicious and really well prepared and the atmosphere was lovely. As were the owners. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

28/09/2024: If you want 5* dining then this is it. I was a bit apprehensive about booking this restaurant as l've visited in previous year by s but under the name of Cris'. Apparently they've been taken over and recently changed names to Legacy lounge. I wasn't sure what to expect as in previous visits to Madeira we always went to Cris' and it was very good. I was pleasantly surprised as nothing seems to have changed except the name. They have a very good menu (and believe me l'm not an easy customer as I'm not a big meat eater) They also have a set price of €55 for a 3 course meal with house wine and extras in between courses finished off with a complementary sweet wine, if you don't want wine as I didn't you just pay for the food you eat. The service was excelen too. Would highly recommend.

26/09/2024: We had the concept menu and paid extra for beef wellington. I had the seafood trilogy, which was delicious, fillet steak, which was slightly over seasoned when you also add the peppered sauce and the red berry crumble for desert. My husband had the ravioli to start, Beef wellington for main… which he said was excellent and a lemon meringue pie for desert. We also had a welcome Prosecco, an amuse buche and a lemon sorbet before our mains. Red and white wine ( it wasn’t the greatest… but ok with food) coffee and a Madeira wine included in the price of 55euros each. Thought this was really good value and good quality food for the price. I couldn’t eat this much every night, but as a treat, a really nice idea. Food was presented well and the staff were all lovely. Modern looking restaurant with a great view from the terrace. Throughly enjoyed our evening here.

24/10/2024: We had a good experience here many years ago and decided to try it again as a Madeiran Menu was on offer at a reasonable price. Our tomato soup with egg was so tasty and absolutely delicious, followed by scabbard fish with banana (didn't think the flavours would mix, but I was wrong) and then passionfruit ice cream which was handmade by the waiter (we were sat outside and we could view the process through the window). The waiter was a delightful, helpful young guy but I didn't get his name - well done anyway!

20/10/2024: Le restaurant reflète parfaitement sa devise : 'Le luxe, c'est de se faire plaisir avec des choses simples'. Chaque plat est préparé minute avec des produits frais, et la présentation dans une vaisselle soignée ajoute une touche élégante. Le personnel est d'une grande amabilité, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent, et la magnifique fresque en salle ajoute un charme unique à l'endroit. Pour couronner le tout, la terrasse offre une vue splendide sur les majestueux jacarandas aux teintes bleutées. Un endroit à découvrir sans hésitation !

18/07/2024: It was the worst experience possible! I do not recommend at all! We stayed at the back room and there was a group of about 30 people- the noise was impossible, the room is not suited for big groups and small tables at the same time. We begged the personnel to change tables, but nothing was done. we could not hear each other, our heads were hurting, we left as soon as possible :A family dinner that was supposed to be pleasant turned out to be the most terrible experience I ever had in a restaurant! The restaurant owners' should definitely choose between big groups or small tables - they should never stay in the same room at the same time.
