03/10/2024: Wir hatten Pulpo ubd Cataplana bestellt. Beides war köstlich noch nie so ein zarten Tintenfisch gegessen. Kommen auf jedenfall wieder.

24/09/2024: This is a fantastic place with excellent prices, ample portions, great service and the tapas was delicious. The place is popular so start lining up at 6:15 to score a table when it opens. If you don't get a table when it opens, come back in 2 hours and you'll find there are tables available. We ordered the meat & cheese board and it was ample for two people for supper. We had the octopus served in a roof tile which was full of flavor and the most tender octopus we ever had, and beef skewer one night. We returned a few nights later and had the mushroom bruschetta, beef tenderloin which you cook on a hot stone, the seafood and bean stew (feijoada) but sadly, they were out of Basque cheesecake. Don't miss out on this place!

01/10/2024: Eine tolle Empfehlung eines Locals. Nur auf den ersten Blick ein großer Raum neben der Autobahn. Aber unfassbare Qualität, richtig leckerer Fisch, humorvoller Service, sehr faire Preise und eine familiäre, authentische Atmosphäre.

14/09/2024: Very good seafood place with lots of options. We came here at 3PM, as we had a 4:30PM booking in Gruta do Carvao which is a 2 minute walking distance. At that time, there were only 2 other tables, but service was extremely slow. I did explain that we have a 4:30PM booking, but still they took their time in providing the menus, taking the order, and eventually we had to rush our meal. We did try the limpets, razor clams, and shrimps. Food was quite good.

25/09/2024: Een kwalitatief heel goede pizza! Vriendelijke bediening en dus lekker eten. Er is niet veel keuze maar je hebt ook de mogelijkheid om zelf je pizza samen te stellen in 4 maten. De entourage is zoals in een cafetaria maar dat doet niets af aan het geheel.

11/09/2024: We hebben hier heerlijk romantisch gedineerd. De smaak van het eten is zo goed, dat je je vingers erbij af wilt likken. Presentatie van gerechten is ook prachtig. De eigenaar mag trots zijn op zijn personeel. De bediening is zeer vriendelijk, denkt met je mee en spreekt goed Engels.

20/08/2024: Llegamos para cenar, inicialmente todo muy correcto, sitio agradable, el camarero genial, pero la cocina es ultra lenta, a la hora y media reclamamos la ensalada verde y las gyozas que habíamos pedido como entrante… el salmón con risotto tenía un sabor excelente, así como el bacalao confitado. La comida es espectacular, pero el tiempo de espera es exageradamente alto, además no nos avisaron de la demora tan alta que tenían. Si vas con hambre y ves mucha gente, mejor no entres o llévate tu propio aperitivo…

29/10/2024: Average restaurant, 45€/person for a 3 courses dinner (without drinks). You can eat better food in the old town, so for culinary reasons don't go to this restaurant. The extra here is the live Fado, so if you want to enjoy a short concert during dinner, then it can be a good choice.

27/10/2024: The fado was wonderful. The food is quite basic; we had the fish which was cold and the steak was ok(ish), but the plate was swimming in gravy with cold chips. The cheese starter was really lovely and the crème caramel dessert wasn’t too bad. The staff work very hard and are very pleasant.

05/09/2024: We utilised this bar a couple of time whilst in Ponta Delgada and it’s a decent spot for watching the sport inside or for an alfresco beer or cocktail if you can get one of the outside tables. We were blessed with a bit of a mini heat haze whilst we were here so utilised the outside section when we could. This definitely functions just as a bar nowadays as there was no food on offer.

16/08/2024: Las cerves (grande o chica) muy ricas y con buena música, los camareros y camareras muy atentos y sin ser pesados y el local dentro estupendo al ser tan fresquito y muy chulo adornado. Y si quieres calor pues terraza fuera. En el centro, bien ubicado y para una parada A media mañana o a media tarde o si quieres una copa.

24/09/2024: Fantastic food. The beef steak and pork tenderloin with pineapple were delicious. Stunning views of the ocean and shoreline from a high vantage point. Servers were very friendly and helpful.

22/09/2024: Il locale è su due piani e in quello superiore, ove siamo stati, ha una bella vista mare. Il servizio è cortese e si mangia bene, a un prezzo nella norma.

22/09/2024: O tempo de demora a receber o pedido foi extraordinariamente demorado. Pedimos 4 crepes e demorou 50 minutos a chegar o pedido. Nota-se que o restaurante não estava cheio. Não foi a primeira vez que aconteceu o sucedido. Quanto à qualidade do gelado, nada apontar.

27/10/2024: Staff very friendly. We ordered two burgers and they were delicious. Nice view and close to the beach. Dogs are allowed on their two terraces.

23/10/2024: Eher eine Snack Bar, wie so oft. Service Katastrophe...keine Begrüßung, kein danke + bitte etc... Crepes waren die schlechtesten aller Zeiten. Kaffee als Espresso ist sehr gut. Als Cappuccino schmeckt er eher wie Kakao aus der Packung. Location direkt am Strand mit toller Aussicht und kostenlosen Parkplätze. Hauptspeisen waren in Ordnung, aber auch nichts besonderes. Wir nutzen es nur noch als Kaffee zwischendurch wenn wir ein paar Stunden baden.
