Vista do Comboio PUB em Funchal

03/12/2024: We stumbled upon this establishment by chance while zipping about on the 47 bus. and what a serendipitous discovery! Stopped by for cake and a cuppa and it was like sitting on the pretty patio of someone's private garden - a quiet, idyllic sanctuary surrounded by lush greenery and exotic flowering plants, a dazzling variety of which is the magenta and violet bromelia. The lemon drizzle cake oozed with the moist texture of homemade goodness, perfectly complimenting the nutty, full bodied flavour of the pot of Rooibos. One especially considerate touch was the bus schedule posted on the wall so that one would not be tardy for one's next destination. Truly encapsulated the mantra "drink tea, love life, eat cake" which was also brandished on the menu.

24/11/2024: Such a lovely place 🤩 to be, with great view over landscape and sea. Nice tea cups and plates in British style! Tasty delicious scones and tea sorts to choose from the menu. So, try it yourself 😍
