The Rose Garden em Funchal

Had dinner twice at the Rose Garden. While I still prefer the former buffet service I am clearly in a minority as the revamped Rose Garden with a choice from the menu is incredibly popular. Food is excellent and service very good. Definitely more of a restaurant for residents of the Cliff Bay hotel rather than holiday makers that call in from the street. Booking is pretty much essential - even for hotel residents.

We dined at the rose garden during a stay at the Cliff Bay Hotel. We sat outside and enjoyed a really lovely 3 course menu. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant has been re decorated which makes it extra special and relaxing. Well worth a visit.
