Sabor a Mar restaurant Vidamar Resort em Funchal

22/09/2024: We had the best meal of our holiday at Fernando’s. Started off with bolo do caco which was very tasty, followed by the scabbard fish with banana which was amazing! So full of flavour, presented beautifully and a generous portion. Poncha was great too (and made with rum, not vodka - like in many tourist trap restaurants). We will definitely come back to Fernando’s when we visit Madeira next time.

04/08/2024: This is a nice spot in the center of the city but away from the noise of the traffic. We ordered espetada and beef. Portions were gorgeous. The food was good, although we found some better places but much further away from the city centre. So, if you are hungry in the town—this is a very good option!
