Real Canoa - Bruno´s em Funchal

10/10/2024: Nel centro di funchal, in un vicoletto, si trova questo piccolo ristorante tipico portoghese. Abbiamo mangiato la loro specialità, pesce spada con banana, buona. E un filetto di manzo con funghi. Tutto buono

14/09/2024: We tried limpets for the first time in this restaurant and, while I am not an expert on limpets by any means, they were little meaty morsels in garlic butter which tasted of the sea and seemed well cooked. Our main courses were very good. I had the prawn and squid skewer which was delicious although I prefer to have the prawns without their shells as it is very messy getting them off. My husband had the Dourado which he said was delicious. Both came with the usual accompaniments of boiled Madeiran potatoes (always delicious) and a salad. The house white wine was good too. The manager and staff were also really good, friendly and helpful and with a good sense of humour. We visited this restaurant in 2019 during our last visit and this place has stayed just as good as it was the last time. I would really recommend this restaurant.
