Lugar tranquilo, decoração agradável, staff muito simpático e disponível. Comida de óptima qualidade.

Hotel restaurants are always iffy. Captive audience and all that. But our experience tonight under the service provided by Debra was outstanding. She even took the time to double confirm the wine we had by the glass in the bar we could get by the bottle. Shared bread basket which came with a nice cod dish and the excellent ox in pastry which was really an empanada but served atop a rib bone for effect. Yummy. Hubby had the beef rib and I had a veggie dish which we then shared with forks of the amazing carrot puree that accompanied the rib. Pacing of the meal was just right. Pleasant meal and service. The 80s music spun by the live DJ was fun too.

A comida e o atendimento. A destacar o excelente serviço do João Clemente que foi incansável. Desde as entradas aos pratos, tudo estava perfeito. Recomendo, não foi a 1a vez, e seguramente não será a última.

When we travel we always try to eat local. We enjoy experiencing many different cuisines. We were in Lisbon with Viking River Cruises and we spent two nights at the Corinthia. Since we had traveled overnight we figured to eat in the hotel the first night and at a local neighborhood restaurant the second night. We made reservations at Erva. My wife had the salt cod and I ordered the octopus rice. We had water and a glass of wine each and the selection of breads.. We sat by the open kitchen. The selection of breads came with a pate, some olive oil (excellent extra virgin), and some smoked butter. I had never had smoked butter and it was outstanding with the selection of breads, a unique treat. The main courses were outstanding and very large portions. We immediately made dinner reservations at Erva for the next night. We had mentioned to the manager that we intended to order the long cooked ribs for two. He suggested that we order one order of the ribs and one of the long cooked lamb leg so that we could share and have two different gastronomic experiences. The second night we ordered a bottle of wine and had a fantastic mix of two tender wonderful meats. The manager was pushing us to have a dessert which I am sure that he planned on not charging us for it. We couldn't even think about it because we were too full. If we were spending a third night in Lisbon we would go back to Erva a third time. However, I think that we would do three courses each course split between the two of us so that we could enjoy the different courses. No way could we have additional courses with a main course for one because it was just too much to eat. The serving staff works excellently together and looking into the kitchen you could see that the staff treats the food with respect. It was a couple of excellent experiences for us.
