A Padaria em Funchal

21/06/2024: We feel lucky to have found this place. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is very clean and attractive and full of locals. We had watercress soup which was the special of the day and was piping hot and delicious. The garlic bolo was one of the best we’ve had. The scabbard fish with banana was perfectly cooked and came with a side salad and generous portion of chips. The chicken in peppercorn sauce was really well cooked and very filling. Excellent price for what we had and definitely worth a visit.

08/06/2024: My wife and I had an outstanding dining experience at Rubi Restaurante in Madeira. I enjoyed a superb mixed grill platter featuring several different steaks, each cooked to perfection. Every piece was a five-star delight. My wife had what she considered the best tuna steak on the island. Both dishes were elevated by a wonderfully salty and herby seasoning that truly enhanced the flavors. The service was exceptional, with the staff being incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal. We highly recommend Rubi Restaurante for its top-notch cuisine and warm hospitality.
