12/10/2025: Um jantar constrangedor, do serviço à qualidade da comida, não há nada que se possa compensar: O lugar é fedorento e decadente, quase tivemos que arrumar a mesa nós mesmos, metade dos pratos principais não estava disponível, o bife estava fibroso, o linguine estava cozido demais porque estava definitivamente cozido com o molho, o bacalhau tinha gosto de ovo e cebola, o polvo parecia chiclete e os talheres e copos estavam lavados com óleo de fritura. Seja por azar geral ou pela má qualidade da culinária portuguesa, recomendo totalmente este lugar.

07/10/2025: Restaurante muito bom e atendimento excelente! O chocolate frito e as batatas fritas estavam um pouco crocantes, mas o resto estava muito bom. Recomendo que você vá lá se estiver de passagem!

19/10/2025: A cinco minutos a pé da praça central de Almada, acima do ferry, encontra este restaurante com uma recepção calorosa, cozinha excelente e preços muito mais baixos do que os da praça. Não hesite em fazer esta curta caminhada.

08/10/2025: Atendimento péssimo. O garçom foi terrivelmente rude durante todo o jantar e até tentou começar uma discussão conosco no final. Um verdadeiro insulto. Esperamos uma eternidade pelos nossos pratos enquanto a outra mesa que chegou depois de nós já estava sendo servida, e o garçom foi rude e grosseiro quando perguntamos se ia demorar muito mais. Nunca fui atendido por alguém tão grosseiro quanto essa pessoa. A evitar, com certeza. A comida também não era nada de especial.

06/11/2025: Há 4 meses que espero venham recolher um frigorífico que está na garantia e não funciona... Já foram agendadas 4 recolhas que não foram feitas. Hoje, dia 06 de novembro de 2005, vieram a minha casa e não deitaram a recolha porque o frigorífico é americano. Enquanto isso meu dinheiro fica retido com o Auchan/Box impedindo de comprar um nome , além da minha casa ocupada por eletrodoméstico que não funciona.

08/12/2025: Dia 6-12-2025 eu e a esposa fomos pela primeira vez ao restaurante avô e foi também a última, devido a arrogância e prepotência do sr patrão, a falar connosco, só porque não colocamos o jarro do vinho em cima da pedra. Comida estava boa, o funcionario 5 estrelas, a sala é agradável. Pelas criticas que li não sou o único com a opinião sobre o sr. Fazia melhor estar só na cx. A receber. Resposta ao sr. Ninguém tinha intenção de estragar nada, nem ai nem noutros restaurantes que frequento, foi apenas um descuido, só que há outras maneiras de falar e agir com o cliente. Nao é debruçar-se sobre a mesa estando eu a comer e sem pedir licença e os modos como falou. Fico-me por aqui porque quando veio outra vez à mesa não melhorou o tom da palavra.

20/11/2025: Fomos num almoço de familia no fim de semana, chegámos cedo com reserva. Conhecemos o avô, muito simpatico, pratos fartos de carne e peixe muito bons. Preços razoáveis. Correu tudo muito bem.

08/08/2025: Boa mariscada. Contudo, algumas falhas no atendimento não pelo empregado pois sozinho estava a atender mais de 50 pessoas que me parece excessivo. Em jantar anterior bife a casa não foi dos melhores, arroz com sabor muito estranho

07/10/2025: Comida muito boa mas o serviço às vezes não é o melhor. São bem educados mas já se enganaram nums pedidos e às vezes mais vale falar em inglês

06/10/2025: O lugar não inspira muita confiança à primeira vista, mas garanto-vos que vão ficar surpreendidos com a qualidade! O serviço é rápido e simpático, há imensa variedade e a bons preços! Tudo chegou muito depressa e foi preparado na hora — estava excelente, uma bela descoberta culinária com porções muito generosas!

03/06/2025: Review for Ponto Final – The TikTok Viral Restaurant An unfortunate and frustrating experience from start to finish. We arrived at 7:40 PM and weren’t seated until 9 PM—nearly 2.5 hours later. Since they don’t take reservations after 7 PM, it’s first come, first served. What they don’t mention is that you’ll need to wait about an hour just to get your name on the list… and then queue again to grab drinks while you wait to be seated. That line took another hour, and we were left standing outside in freezing winds, sharing bread and olives on a stone ledge by the water as the sun set and the cold set in. After all that waiting, our name was skipped entirely on the waitlist. We watched multiple groups who arrived well after us get seated ahead. When I pointed this out to the gray-haired host (whom everyone seems to rave about), he gave a half-hearted apology and finally seated us—almost three hours after we arrived. Because we had been out in the cold for so long, we asked to be seated inside. Once inside, we sat for 20 minutes without any acknowledgment. No waiter approached us for drink orders, nothing. It was our last night in Portugal, and we felt invisible. When we finally placed our order, I opened the menu only to find it covered in black mold. I lost my appetite. I flagged it to our waiter, who didn’t seem to care. Meanwhile, every table around us was getting great service and attention. We felt completely disregarded. We were seated at 9 PM. Our food didn’t arrive until 10:40 PM—20 minutes before closing. Even then, it came in parts. My partners veal arrived much earlier than expected, and my grilled sardines were delayed another 15–20 minutes after that. I had to flag down a different server—not even ours—to check on our food. Our assigned waiter never once came to check in. As a waitress from New York, I understand the chaos of busy nights—but this was unacceptable. We rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so disappointing it felt like a joke. We paid the same as everyone else, yet were treated as if we didn’t matter. When we brought our concerns to the host at the end of the night, he brushed it off with, “Well, we have good reviews.” That’s not the point. You took our time and money, and our experience didn’t reflect your supposed standards. The arrogance was disheartening. They comped dessert but still charged for water—what a joke. He blamed how busy the restaurant was, but every other table was properly taken care of. It almost felt personal. The food was good, but the treatment was honestly heartbreaking. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.

03/06/2025: Ponto Final If you follow Netflix’s “Somebody Feed Phil,” their first episode was set in Portugal and featured a restaurant at the end of the world, aptly named Ponto Final. Trust me, it’s easier to find your way around New York or Manila than this place. After a ferry ride from Lisbon to Casilhas across the Tagus River, a bus ride where Google made us stop sooner (we should have listened to the old lady who told us to get off later), and navigating through graffiti-infested small alleys, we finally arrived at the edge of a cliff wall, deciding to what seemed like a torn-down cannery. It definitely felt like a scene from The Twilight Zone. Descending nearly 80 steps, we finally saw those familiar yellow metal tables and chairs. Whew! We made it. But wait, we had to wait an hour since we couldn’t get reservations. Finally, we got to sit down. This better be good, Phil, or I’ll stop watching Netflix. My sister recommended this place to us as well. Our grilled sardines and fried horse mackerel were cooked to perfection, but the side of tomato rice was the real surprise. Everything was done just right, and who needs ambiance when you can hear the waves crashing about 10 feet from your table and enjoy the breathtaking view of Lisbon? If you’re lucky, you’ll get that table at the end where you can just fall into the ocean if you had one too many glasses of wine. Getting back to the ferry was another adventure. Thankfully, the elevator was working (yesterday it wasn’t), and just imagine climbing that cliff wall while full of food. Other than getting there and back, I would highly recommend Ponto Final for all the right (and even wrong) reasons. It will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark in our memories.

03/11/2025: Boa noite. Para o grande espanto meu e para pela primeira vez encomendei do restaurante soulsushi por take-away. Como podem verificar a fatura. Não sei se o Soul az um serviço para para dentro um e para take-away diferentes, mas isto não é comida do sou sushi que eu conheço e que estou habituado. arroz seco risco sashimi grosso,seco, alga nori mole . mas o que se passa por aquelas bandas . Vou pensar se volto..
