09/11/2024: Best Pastéis de Natas. I tried them everywhere I saw them (at about 8 different places) and this was by far the best! 10 out of 10 recommend!

29/10/2024: Because of this coffee pastry restaurant I got hooked on Nata. we spend a few days in Lisbon but after trying Nata almost everywhere we kept coming back to this place. great service, best Nata

28/09/2024: A fantastic experience, right up there with the best restaurants I have visited (Osteria Francescana, Fat Duck, Celer Can Roca).

25/09/2024: The menu was based on the chief's food memories which sometimes was interesting but other times less so. You get a set of cards at the end with the dishes on though TBH I would have preferred a menu at the start. Service and food were good. What lets it down is its ridiculously expensive and sometimes quite horrid non alcoholic matching - avoid.

09/10/2024: Ojo no picar !! Si te captan por la calle no te dejes engañar , comida pésima, carísimo y no te dan tíquet para que no puedas denunciarlos. En la calle de al lado comerás bien y a precio razonable el la mayoría de bares .

30/09/2024: We were on Rua do Aurea and herded over to Rua dos Correeiros 22... to a dingy and very dodgy little place on the street. It was awful! No tables or service inside the dirty building. All food was cooked next door at another restaurant. The toilet area was beyond disgusting. The house wine was 7.50 each, which was not disclosed when ordering. The 16 euro fish portion was ridiculously tiny with three small potatoes and a few sprigs of lettuce/tomato/onion (which was white and harsh, not red onion). No dressing. After asking three times, we finally walked up to the bar and requested it again. No oil or dressing for salads. Just vinegar and balsamic. Do NOT accept the cheese or ham side. We had ham that looked three days old and ended up costing 9 euros. The side salad was decent, but overpriced at nearly 6 euros. That total comes to 46 euros and the guy charged 56.60. We gave him 60 total and he was not bringing change. I co fronted him about the bill, but he would not give in. He finally gave me 4 euros in return and said he was "nice guy". Do yourself a favor and just stay away from the restaurants. There are WAY too many preditory places like this in Portugal. The only thing as bad is the exhorbitant ATM fees everywhere!

31/10/2024: This little restaurant are placed a super touristy area. Only 16 tables, so the touristy feeling is not really inside. The service is great with a super selection of Portuguese wine! The menu has most of the normal Portuguese meals and is well cooked. Nothing that stood out but we would definitely go back.

29/10/2024: This is our "must go" place whenever we are in Lisbon ( in fact we went two evenings in a row). Tucked away in a quiet street not far from the Da Baixa-chiado Metro Station. It is a family own/run restaurant that has only 20 seats ( Making a reservationhighly recommended). The brothers Daniel and Roberto run the front of the house while Maria ( their mother) reigns over the kitchen. Out of this world food and exceptional service. This is a place that you should never dine in a hurry and you should just ask Daniel ( a trainend Sommelier ) to pair your food wiith wine. BTW, they only serve wines from Portugal ( they are excellent). Very reasonably priced, our bill was less than 90 Euro and we definltely cannot do that in our hometown of NYC.

16/07/2024: Hoje neste restaurante pedi o bife a castelo, as batatas não vieram e ainda me responderam mal, um dos bifes trazia cabelos, já não comi mais. Péssima experiência.

23/10/2024: A comida é excelente, o ambiente também. Gastronomicamente os pratos são interessantes em sabor, aroma, composição. Os preços são muio elevados para o tamanho das doses.

22/10/2024: Delicious food, friendly and professional staff make the journey worth it. The restaurant doesn't look any special from the outside, but when you get upstairs it is much better. I recommend booking it in advance.
