18/10/2024: We stumbled across this place by accident one night when it was really heavy rain. We were slight grating when we seen the prices but it was well worth it. Easily the nicest meal of our holiday. We both had the salmon and wow! Salmon fillet was cooked to perfection and the potatoes were insane! Our daughter had the spaghetti bolognaise from the kids menu and she also said it was delicious. Service was first class and our waiter was very attentive. We look forward to returning next year

16/10/2024: I highly recommend this place. We will be back every time we come to Portugal now for certain. We did book a table as it looked busy when we had walked past the night before and we wanted to be sure of a seat The welcome was lovely, staff were so friendly and chatty and helpful. The wine recommendation was perfect we ended up drinking 2 bottle of Perra Manca. The food menu is superb, lots of choice and original dishes. Tasted incredible. Atmosphere was unreal, just so chilled but so nice. Great spot to people watch if you're sat outside. Ended up there for hours and didn't feel rushed at all. Had some great recommendations from the staff and some great chats with them. Make sure to visit if you're in the old town!

03/09/2024: Stayed in the complex for 12 nights and utilised the restaurant on a daily basis every morning for coffees first thing and lunches on occasion Staff very friendly and the place was spotless. Lunches were good and reasonable price. Missing my morning coffees and chats with the owner in the morning and hope all are doing well

07/08/2024: We have been coming here for 8 years, the food is always great and so is the service. However, yesterday at the pool we were over charged for drinks which we let slide (€18.20 for cocktail beer and small water) but then charged €12 for two beers my partner paid it but I went up and questioned it… When I asked the server if he charged us again for the cups he said no a large beer is €5 for the pool as it is bigger than a regular pint glass? But i explained that he charged us charged us €12 and he ignored the question and asked me if I wanted to be shown. On the menu it is €4 for a large beer. Even if is it €5 at pool he still over charged us. He was even going to show me that the pool cup and pint cup were different sizes. We come out for 6 weeks over the summer and would come up to 3 times a week here for food and always leave a good tip. Just feels like such a scam with pool cups. Especially if you are going their alot it adds up. We were there the day before for lunch and the afternoon and never got charged for pool cups or €5 for a beer!

08/10/2024: Tasty breakfast for two - English fry and fluffy pancakes with strawberries and syrup 😋. Great location with palm trees for shade. We would definitely like to go back

14/03/2024: Nós fomos aqui para pegar algumas bebidas. O menu de alguns meses/anos atrás nas fotos aqui está muito desatualizado. Eles vendem apenas algumas saladas, sanduíches e algumas bebidas. Chega de smoothies. Os preços também dobraram. Quando chegamos lá, a cobertura estava fechada (15h) e a garçonete não falava inglês nem nos entendia. Ela também não conseguia explicar por que o telhado estava fechado, apesar de termos visto pessoas sentadas lá no dia anterior. Minha namorada acabou de comprar um suco de maçã, abacaxi e menta que era decente, mas depois de todos os problemas que passamos e sem acesso ao telhado, não foi nada satisfatório. Pedimos para pagar e a senhora disse "ok", mas nunca saiu. Tivemos que entrar novamente e perguntar mais uma vez. Serviço terrível. Caso você queira sentar no "esplanada" perto do porto no verão: praticamente não há proteção solar e você apenas se queima em frente a uma rua muito movimentada. Atmosfera não é isso. Talvez o telhado não disponível fosse melhor. Duvido que isso salvaria este lugar caro, cheio de garçons rudes.
