07/11/2024: Destacou-se. Faz uma excelente osmose entre o tradiconal madeirense e um toque mais moderno. O serviço é profissional, os pratos são todos bem pensados e melhor confecionados. O preço é o adequado. Fica na lista para um regresso à ilha

08/11/2024: Great restaurant, we tried out the Innovation and the Vegetarian Innovation gourmet menus. They were fantastic, so you should try it.

07/11/2024: We loved the advertisement on the street showing the cocktail bar overlooking the sea. So we decided to pop in and were shown to a well placed table however the waitress then left us without clearing the table from the previous guests. We moved the items to another table. It then took a good 15 minutes before we were asked what we would like. We asked for some nuts with our cocktails. Eventually small uninspiring cocktails arrived and beside it 3 peanuts in their shells!!!! We didn't see any other staff members to ask for the bill and it wasn't until we decided to go to the bar to pay did anyone materialize. A really bad experience. Sadly we will not return.

05/10/2024: We hebben een fantastische avond gehad in dit restaurant. Op de reservering werd zeer snel en vriendelijk gereageerd. Zo was ook de ontvangst door Silvia zeer vriendelijk en warm. Dit geldt ook voor haar personeel. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en naar hele mooie fado muziek geluisterd. Een aanrader om naar dit restaurant te gaan als je in Funchal bent.

04/10/2024: Wat een ervaring !! Gereserveerd in NL , er werd meteen gereageerd via mail dat de reservering stond. Een warme avond met vermaak, meteen fijne sfeer door de gastvrouw. Prachtige muziek vertolkt door het personeel en andere gastoptredens. Wat een samenwerking, passie en oog voor detail. Een onvergetelijke avond !! Er werd tevens gevierdd dat ze 4.5 ster hadden verdiend Voor ons de 5e ster zeker verdiend !! Ronald en Adri

31/08/2024: The best restaurant/bar in Madeira. We ordered qrilled squid for two and a tradicional garlic bread. It was so delicious! The staff is very kind and the atmosphere is also very pleasant. The seafood was incredible. We will definitely come back.

29/08/2024: Excelente restaurante, ótimos pratos, Um arroz de marisco com tudo o que é fresco e natural, apenas peça por não ter sapateira ou um caranguejo que tantos existem por aquela zona! Um maravilhoso bife de atum, com todos os paladares que pode ter e o maravilhoso do filete de pescada. O difícil mesmo é escolher, na minha opinião, devem pedir todos pratos diferentes para que possam provar vários pratos👌 Para não esperarem devem chegar para o almoço entre as 11:20 e 12:00.

03/10/2024: We came back here after visiting in previous years for Brunch. All was absolutely lovely and we left totally stuffed. And for less than €30!

18/09/2024: This is a cute shop and restaurant in center of madeira. They offer various teas, some pastry and brunch. it has an outside seating area in the square and then places inside which is nicely decorated and comfortable. the prices are too high for what it is for Madeira prices. When we visited, we were served by two separate female servers and one guy. the girls didn't smile and one of them specially seemed unfriendly in the way he spoke even though they were not very busy. I would not go there again because they are unfriendly. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes in Madeira with very friendly staff and more reasonable prices.

03/09/2024: We live very close to 100 Pressa Mand go for dinner at least 1 time a week maybe more. The food and service is the best in this area of our island and our favorite place to eat and relax.

27/09/2024: You have to book for this wonderful experience. It is a very spacious and gracious building and tea is served on a covered and airy patio. The furniture is comfortable and tables adequately spaced. The view down the coast is very scenic and it easy to simply sit and enjoy the peace and quiet as you take it in. The food is very high quality and plentiful. Additional sandwiches and scones were offered to all. There are numerous varieties of tea. The service is exceptional. This was a truly fantastic experience. Do book if you are in Funchal.

17/09/2024: My wife and I went to the afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday - unfortunately there was very little of the overall experience which was positive, let alone worth the price. Before we were seated we had a 15 minute wait standing in the lobby with a queue behind us, with only one person seating the guests - this seemed very disorganized and strange. After we were seated, we declined the (extortionately priced) champagne to start. As such, we felt like we were being treated poorly - the table next to us got an extra treat for the man’s birthday; they acknowledged my wife’s birthday but didn’t bring anything. When we ordered tea, the waitress poured it instantly without letting it brew - it was unpleasant as a result. You’d have thought afternoon tea would know how to serve tea. The food was mostly fine, with a couple of highlights (especially the prawn sandwiches), but the scones were more like dumplings and the desserts were broadly flavorless. This was very disappointing. Only 2/3 of the tables have a good view, with the remaining 1/3 being away from the edge. It would have been good to know this in advance, to arrive earlier, but this want communicated. Overall, just thoroughly disappointing - customers paying this much deserve better.

15/10/2024: What a find, so accommodating and friendly to a RL fan trying to watch the recent Grand Final. Having tried several so called sports bars who allegedly show all sport I was resigned to trying to watch the Wigan V Hull KR final on my phone. However I came upon The White House online, rang them and they were more than willing to put the big game on for little old me. Raced up there from my hotel and spent 3 brilliant hours watching a great game whilst being looked after by excellent staff. Would definitely recommend this pub to any true sports fa.

22/09/2024: We had spotted this restaurant while staying down the hill at Cliff Bay and doing some walk abouts. At this point in our most excellent visit to Portugal, we were interested in the Argentinian hot dog and incredibly intriguing k-bab. Not only were the dishes terrific, but the service was terrific, and we even went back from the veranda to the bar for an after-dinner drink, maybe Guinness if memory serves. If you are near this most excellent restaurant, do yourself a favor and dive in!

09/11/2024: Prometia ser uma boa opção mas não correspondeu. A comida não é incrível e não tem ambiente. Achei os empregados tensos e pouco afáveis.

05/11/2024: Contemporary and modern setting with a tasting menu and experience to suit. Extremely at-tentative service. Food was all gorgeous, and really good value at €70 per head including the wines. 1st time here, and will visit again when in Madeira. Top tip - after the 1st elevator, check-in at the small “shop” on the right, and you’ll be taken to the 2nd elevator.

29/09/2024: Localizamos este restaurante por su ubicación y puntuación y acertamos, todo un éxito. Pedimos bacalhau pastor, exquisito, pao de batata y cabrito que estaba extraordinario. Restaurante totalmente recomendable, con una buena relación calidad precio.
