11/05/2024: 9 friends had dinner there last night. Have been going to Ponte Verde for years. Always have good food and service. Last night was excellent. The restaurant has new owners but nice to see the same good professional servers as previously. Really enjoy the old school service, even served the sea bass taken off the bone at table side. All meals were really good. The Carapauzinhos, Linguadinhos, Bife de Vazia, Robalo, Tamboril, Carne de Porco a Alentejana were all delicious. Traditional Portuguese food done well. Varied wine list. We sat inside as it was a cool evening but the terrace tables would be nice on a warm evening. Parking is a bit tricky but can always find a spot not far away in the village.

31/03/2024: Tentamos contatá-los diversas vezes ontem porque tivemos uma emergência ‼️. Nossa filha sofreu um acidente com a babá. Por isso tivemos que ir ao pronto-socorro e apesar de inúmeras ligações para informá-los e entrar em contato por email. O restaurante tomou a liberdade de cobrar 160 € do nosso cartão bancário! Uma pena sem qualquer escrúpulo. Espero reembolso sem demora. Por outro lado, tomarei as medidas necessárias para fazer valer os meus direitos, mas existem limites inaceitáveis
15/03/2024: Degustação fabulosa, alguns cursos realmente destacados e sem perda de qualidade à medida que avançam para o deserto, o que é tantas vezes o caso. O prato de “pão” é desnecessário e significa apenas que você sai do lugar recheado em vez de se sentir satisfeito. Uma pequena reclamação é a tranquilidade do local, silencioso demais quando há apenas algumas mesas.
Excelente combinação de vinhos, mantendo-o local com alguns tipos de vinho relativamente desconhecidos.

18/10/2024: We went for lunch and it was so great we went again. The staff at our hotel recommended it and e loved it. It is by the river and I would not describe it as having a view but it can be a little bit of a bustling scene down there. Our server Nelson was fabulous. He recommended the whole fish and presented us with options - we chose the sea bass.
I also recommend the fresh jamon.
The staff are multi-lingual (as tends to be the case in Lisbon) and very friendly. They have great cocktails and a very good wine list. Even desserts were great!
14/10/2024: This is one of the worst experiences I had in this trip.
The quality of the food is poor, extremely pricy for the European standards, the attitude and the service is not at the level of expectations.
It is a shame because the location and the view is amazing but I had a really bad time here.

04/08/2024: Já tinha ido ao restaurante muitas vezes, e adorei, por isso fui experimentar o novo espaço. Tive o prazer de comer um bife à Rosa que estava maravilhoso e para sobremesa uma bela torta de laranja (que recomendo). Os funcionários são os mesmos e claro muito simpáticos. O espaço é bastante agradável.
03/08/2024: O mesmo restaurante, o mesmo staff. Renovaram as mesas, as cadeiras, as paredes e sobretudo renovaram a ementa, quer no menu de carnes (Premium) quer na carta de Vinhos.
Nada ficou ao acaso, a carne Argentina além de parecer manteiga é saborosa. A carta de Vinhos foi amplamente alargada com escolhas muito interessantes e algumas fora da caixa. A simpatia continua a mesma (não era difícil uma vez que são assim por natureza). Por fim, o preço a pagar é mais que justo para a qualidade do que se consome. A voltar muitas vezes sem qualquer dúvida.

31/05/2024: O restaurante foi a nossa salvação depois de um dia extenuante de peregrinação. Os proprietários são extremamente simpáticos, a comida era muito boa e os preços são mais que justos. Voltaríamos a qualquer momento!

27/08/2024: Amêjoas cheias de areia que foram devolvidas. Dose de sardinhas com 2 batatinhas sem um único verde; espetada de picanha completamente desidratada e sem sabor.
Foi-nos informado que vinham dessa forma do talho, seria bom avaliar o vendedor e provar o produto que compram.
Uma autêntica desilusão.
Lugar a não recomendar.
06/08/2024: I found a HOOK in my meal. I pricked my mouth with it! Not only did they not offer any gesture of goodwill, such as a free dessert, they also wanted me to keep eating the same fish, but I managed to order a new one. Really dangerous and bad experience. One of the waiters was also rude.

07/10/2024: We had the most delightful and delicious lunch with friends at Bistro Edelweiss!!! The food was absolutely amazing and service was exceptional. Not enough words to describe the restaurant and the decor-love, love, love!!! Sadly, no photos to share as we were so busy enjoying the meal. We will be back.
10/07/2024: We stumbled across this place on our first night in Lisbon as we were lured in by the half price aperol spritz they do for happy hour between 5 and 8pm. For the 6 days we spent in Lisbon we came here for 3 of them it’s that good! Marc and Barbara were especially accommodating and made the atmosphere lovely, we had a fantastic dinner here on the last evening. As people who had not really eaten Swiss food before I would now highly recommend. My fiancée had the filet mignon and I had the liver which were both divine and the service was exceptional. It’s full of character and if I could score higher than 5 starts I would!

28/10/2024: A privileged place for sailing lovers, beautiful views of Lisbon and professionalism.
An excellent presentation of dishes, in our case weekend, with quality and good work.
Very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and excellent views from the upper dining room.
Traditional fish and wines, but of very high quality.
Finishing with homemade desserts and a coffee, they allow you to enjoy a lunch to remember.
20/07/2024: Food wasn’t bad but service was bad, ordered a salad which never arrived even after reminding the staff three times, ordered a coffee in a cold cup, cafe came burning hot
