02/04/2024: Uma deliciosa refeição, Nosso Bacalhau a Portuguesa, num pequeno restaurante muito simpático. Recomendo reservar mesa com antecedência.

27/03/2024: Jantar perfeito, altamente recomendado. A burrata é deliciosa, o tataki é espetacular e a carne de tupi é perfeita. Uma agradável surpresa, se voltarmos à zona com certeza repetiremos.

18/09/2024: Good selection of Tapas. Not too many and all delicious. We had Pork Cheeks, Spare Ribs, Dick and Rice and a green Salad. Enough for us two but you can always order more. All the meat was cooked to perfection.

14/09/2024: Went twice whilst on holiday in Tavira. This restaurant is definitely in my top five to go too. Varied menu, both meat and fish and vegetables tapas. Portions larger than general tapas , we had five dishes between two. Staff lovely and so was service. Try you won’t be disappointed.

30/05/2024: Maria and her family have run this restaurant for many years and are always welcoming. It is situated in the hills above S Catarina and has the most amazing panoramic views towards the sea. We have taken most of our visitors here over the years and have enjoyed many good traditional meals. Our favourites include the javali stew, chicken in breadcrumbs, and the pork with garlic. Accompanied by salad and frites. It is best to book and they speak Portuguese, French and English.

04/10/2024: Nice coffee shop near a small shopping street. Had some snacks - very thick hot chocolate. You order at the counter and then they bring the food but then you have to queue again to pay which takes a long time.

13/06/2024: Fabulous find! Lovely owners. So friendly. Food good, nice atmosphere. Hidden outside area. Went about 6 times during our 2 week stay, sometimes to eat and sometimes to drink. Very chilled. Look forward to next year! The music is brilliant.

13/09/2024: This was our go to place on our recent trip to Cabanas. Its been about 6 years since we had last been and it was still as inviting as we remember. The staff were great and the atmosphere was just as good. Great to watch the football, get a toastie or even just go for a few drinks. Staff were chatty and up for a laugh and we met lots of people on our visits here. Its great to be in a place where everyone gets a long and other customers are up for a conversation and share places to go, chat about the football that was on or just talk about general things they have done in life. Its also not too far from the train so if your too early can nip down for a quick drink before.

03/08/2024: This place has every day deals and it was Friday so they call it ‘chip shop Friday.’ As you can imagine it is chippy style foods. The man took our drinks order and he was very attentive during our time there. I opted for the battered sausage with chips. I’d never had battered sausage before and I thought it was good. The chips were the best we’ve had in Portugal so far. So fresh, so tasty, perfect size, perfect amount. The deal also included a dessert. A choice of apple or strawberry pie with cream. I went for apple and it was delicious. This deal included a coffee and any drink of your choice. All for €12.50, if that isn’t fantastic value then what is. You can also watch live sport of your choice here as there are many tvs. I’d be interested in the other deals they have here but I couldn’t recommend this one more.
