23/10/2024: In this charming and cozy spot on a quiet street, we were delighted by the scrumptious dishes they served. We leaned on the waiter’s expertise to choose the starter and the main, as well as the wine and we were pleased by the rich flavors and contrasts. We shared a seitan appetizer with bolo levado, which we loved, and then shared the beet risotto with mushroom and there were unexpected tastes and nice texture contrasts. Finished with an unusual banana dessert, which was rich and bursting with sweetness and flavors. I wish this restaurant was in my neighborhood!! The staff was kind and helpful, and we appreciated their patience after we missed the time for the reservation. I didn’t realize the answer to the reservation request would come via WhatsApp, which I never look at and doesn’t send me notifications, so it was only because I decided to call as a last ditch try, I learned we did indeed have a reservation! NOTE to others: check WhatsApp for response to reservation request!!

18/10/2024: Pela primeira vez neste espaço, vinha com uma ideia e quando entrei fiquei completamente encantado com a comida, com o atendimento e com o espaço. Tudo 5 estrela e recomendo vivamente. Estão de parabéns.

01/04/2024: Hamburgueria muito boa, boa seleção, combinações interessantes, funcionários simpáticos e apesar de ser um restaurante pequeno, tem muitos lugares sentados. O restaurante tem uma excelente localização, preços bastante decentes e os hambúrgueres são ótimos.

05/09/2024: We utilised this bar a couple of time whilst in Ponta Delgada and it’s a decent spot for watching the sport inside or for an alfresco beer or cocktail if you can get one of the outside tables. We were blessed with a bit of a mini heat haze whilst we were here so utilised the outside section when we could. This definitely functions just as a bar nowadays as there was no food on offer.

16/08/2024: Las cerves (grande o chica) muy ricas y con buena música, los camareros y camareras muy atentos y sin ser pesados y el local dentro estupendo al ser tan fresquito y muy chulo adornado. Y si quieres calor pues terraza fuera. En el centro, bien ubicado y para una parada A media mañana o a media tarde o si quieres una copa.

27/10/2024: Staff very friendly. We ordered two burgers and they were delicious. Nice view and close to the beach. Dogs are allowed on their two terraces.

23/10/2024: Eher eine Snack Bar, wie so oft. Service Katastrophe...keine Begrüßung, kein danke + bitte etc... Crepes waren die schlechtesten aller Zeiten. Kaffee als Espresso ist sehr gut. Als Cappuccino schmeckt er eher wie Kakao aus der Packung. Location direkt am Strand mit toller Aussicht und kostenlosen Parkplätze. Hauptspeisen waren in Ordnung, aber auch nichts besonderes. Wir nutzen es nur noch als Kaffee zwischendurch wenn wir ein paar Stunden baden.

06/03/2024: É um belo café com empregados maravilhosos. Fomos sempre bem recebidos. O José e a sua equipa são fantásticos. Hoje era o aniversário de uma das suas funcionárias e todos cantaram para ela. É bom ver toda a gente a divertir-se no trabalho. Feliz aniversário Teresa.

07/10/2024: This restaurant is amazing! We ate at several incredible restaurants during our trip to Ponta Delgada but this was the restaurant we chose to revisit and dine at a second time towards the end of our trip because the food was so amazing. In our two visits we tried the grilled limpets, mixed grilled meats, tuna steak, pork steak and grilled baby squid, all of which were unbelievably delicious. The food was served with bread and local cheese, the best cheese we had on our trip. The prices were very affordable for the incredible quality and the staff were friendly and attentive.

27/09/2024: Fomos almoçar por recomendação do hotel. Excelente opção. O proprietário sugeriu o prato do dia, Polvo estufado que estava uma delícia, tenro e muito bem confeccionado. Sobremesa bolo de ananás.

22/07/2024: Picked up a vegan cozido to cook in the volcano at Lake Furnace. The food was fantastic as was the contact with Maria. Lovely packed pic nic basket with fresh bread, wine cutlery, everything you need. Just perfect!!! Thank you Maria

05/07/2024: You will have a marvelous day: first pick up a basket with plates, glasses,etc, a bottle of wine, water and limonade and off course the basket with food at Maria’s place ( vegetarian or with meat) and then drive to Fumarolas Lagoa das Furnas. A men put it in the warm ground, you go for a walk in the forest and after 3 hours: food is ready and have your picnic!
