20/10/2024: A comida estava excelente, acompanhada por uma garrafeira muito boa e variada. Ótimo serviço, mesmo com casa cheia. O bacalhau estava divinal

18/10/2024: Sou cliente regular e peço sempre prato do dia diferente e nunca há nada apontar de negativo!! Se pedir algo que não esteja na carta, só não atendem se não puderem. Qualidade e carinho pelos clientes= Nota máxima= 10 em 10!!

14/10/2024: Alles OK. Liebe Bedienung und gutes Essen.hatten keinen grossen Hunger so dass das angebotene Essen uns sehr gut paste.

13/10/2024: Something for connoisseurs and admirers of fine cuisine. Obviously Mediterranean and and with a lot of fresh raw fish, but far away from the standard dishes. A short menu but with well selected dishes: a lot of raw fish, leading to a superb steak. We decided to order basically everything and to share amongst 3 of us. The great food comes with exceptional service - also the chef stopped over at the table: we wish her all the best future success. We will stopover again at our next Lissabon visit.

18/10/2024: I booked this place based on king size bed, price & location, which all fit what we had wanted. We also had dinner one night and their daily breakfast which were all very good. I guess the only reason I give it lower marks is because the seating for the restaurant is literally right outside the windows of the hotel rooms and the restaurant seems to attract a late night crowd that all seem to smoke ciggies, so you can't really enjoy the fresh air due to the smoke and the late night noise. This is a bummer because otherwise it would be a fantastic place/location. So in closing the food is fab - unless you get seated next to a smoker. The hotel is an avg kind of place. Bed is comfy. Shower is tiny.

13/10/2024: We stopped for drinks and ended up staying for food. She ordered a number of small/tapas style local dishes, and all were amazing. The gentleman that served us was really attentive, bringing out lots of wines for us to try and decide on

01/11/2024: Recomendo. Comida muito boa, vinhos bons, atendimento amigo. O croquete está no top de Lisboa. Vale a pena voltar para mais!

20/09/2024: This is a lovely welcoming family run restaurant. The ones further down the street are plagued by waiters outside pestering you to go in. Not great. Tempero Gaucho isn't at all like that. You feel as if they want you to be there and there's no pressure to have couvert or starters. We shared a caprese salad which was very good. I had the Bacalhau a Bras which was absolutely delicious. My OH had choco frito (fried cuttlefish) with fries. It was a big portion and he really enjoyed it. We were too full for pudding. We loved the vinho verde too.. The waiter was soo nice. The prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed it so much we returned the following evening. We both had the grilled dourada with boiled potatoes and veg which were very good. The cheesecake pudding was lovely too. Please try this hassle free place. The food and ambience are great.

09/09/2024: We stumbled across this restaurant when just wandering around looking for somewhere to eat. What a find! Quality food at reasonable price. Service was excellent. We were only in Lisbon for a few days but we returned here for a second time a few days later and was equally impressed second time around

13/08/2024: Serviço rápido, espaço agradável, staff simpático q.b., qualidade da comida boa e preço algo elevado. Mesmo assim, as expetativas foram superadas. Voltaremos para experimentar outros pratos. Ao fim de semana convêm reservar.

01/09/2024: A minha avaliação tão negativa fica somente a dever-se à enorme falta de consideração pelo cliente. Numa tarde soalheira de domingo e num almoço de aniversário com 24 pessoas, foram pedidas, entre outros pratos, 15 doses de cozido à portuguesa . Essas 15 doses converteram-se em 4, repito 4!!!! pratos redondos que normalmente acolhem 2 a 3 doses... Relatada a situação de penúria, foi solicitada mais uma dose de cozido, pedindo que nesta a carne de vaca fizesse uma aparição mais generosa já que praticamente não foi avistada nas anteriores... Esta casa não tem necessidade de tratar assim os clientes...lamentável!!!

02/10/2024: We are a group of 5 people from Poland. During our week in Lisbon we ate in many places but here the food was the best. We came back here three times, ordered different dishes and all were sensational. Very good and friendly service. Menus in different languages, including Polish. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

27/09/2024: Fresh seafood at a decent price. Large portions and very well prepared. Tables were filled when nearby competition were not, tells the story. Good service and a varied offering made this one of my better choices.

08/11/2024: Fomos jantar 2 casais no dia 7 de Novembro. Foi uma desilusão parcial, vejamos: 1 - Empregados simpáticos e eficientes 2 - Muito barulhento.Estava cheio 3 - Entradas: - Peixinhos da horta - Muito bons - Pézinhos de coentrada - Muito salgados - Pastéis de massa tenra - Muito bons 4 - Pratos principais: - Empada de pato com salada - Muito bom, especialmente a salada - Galinha de cabidela - Muito mau 5 - Sobremesa: Mousse de chocolate - Como sempre muito boa

10/10/2024: So disappointed. Ordered one of the most expensive dishes on the meny and it looked good on the plate, but was too salty. Service was almost none existent, no one asked us what we thought about the food until we had finished eating. No one assigned to our table and very little so called compensation for the bad food. There are many other restaurants in Lisbon with excellent food and service, choose one of them instead of this.

11/07/2024: O Magano is a bit off the beaten path in Lisbon which was one of the reasons we chose it. After a longish walk from our hotel really good things started to happen as soon as we walked in. First as soon as we said we had a reservation the staff member who greeted us said our name and welcomed us. Wow! We were seated and a waiter came over and introduced himself and as we chatted he asked where were we from. We said New York City and he immediately confessed to being a huge NY Yankees fan who streams the games at odd hours. I believe his name was Vicente....You rock! (Apologies if I have your name wrong) As we are huge Yankee fans we were off to a great start and I showed my pictures at Yankee Stadium and Vicente showed his picture of the Yankee jersey he wants which coincidentally I own. We placed ourselves in Vicentes hands in terms of ordering food and wine and were so happy we did. The apps were delicious and the recommendations for mains even better. We ordered a fish filet which was recommended - I think it was turbot and it was absolutely delicious. And it was recommended we order their special pork dish - I think it was the Black Pork where the filet comes from a certain part of the animal who is fed mainly acorns. It was unbelievably delicious - I could not get enough of it. My wife never eats pork but she inhaled her portion. I've never tasted anything quite like that. The recommended wine was great and I was able to find a bottle of it in the duty free store at the airport to bring home. When I drink it I will think of our very pleasant evening at O Magano. Thank you Vicente for everything including great service. As we walked out the chef and other staff members wished us well like they were our new family. We sent people we met at our next stop to O Magano and I hope they found you! If you get to NY somehow let me know and we'll go to a Yankee game!

26/06/2024: Lugar muito agradável apesar de pequeno. O atendimento é excelente, pessoal atencioso e prestativo. As entradas são muito variadas e saborosas. Os pratos principais são excelentes. Fomos em seis pessoas, todos pediram pratos diferentes e ficaram satisfeitos com a refeição. Eu nunca tinha comido uma Garoupa com aquela consistência. Preços compatíveis com os produtos oferecidos. Tem que fazer reserva.

12/11/2024: Wir waren direkt zwei Tage hintereinander dort. Schöne Atmosphäre, tolles Essen, tolle Weine,freundliche Servicekräfte. So geht Gastronomie.

04/11/2024: We were passing through Cascais on a day trip and wanted a restaurant “up a back street” with a nice vibe & good food. We found this on trip advisor and it was one of the best meals we had on our 5 day visit to Lisbon. It was packed, had brilliant vibe and the food was simply delicious! Washed down with some green wine. Would love to go back there some day!

21/10/2024: Walked in without reservation to the friendliest reception from Brazilian Carolina who found us the perfect table. Delightful wait service from Sergio. Perfectly cooked dinners. Great ambiance. We'd go back in a heartbeat if we weren't so full!

13/10/2024: Fuimos hace 15 años la primera vez. Todavía era un negocio pequeño, familiar. Ahora es un restaurante con 2 plantas, pero la esencia sigue igual. Gran variedad de platos de bacalao exquisitos. Muy buena selección de vinos. Personal muy amable y servicial.

31/03/2024: Ambiente acolhedor, pessoal simpático e comida boa. Hoje por estar a sala cheia estava um nível de ruído superior ao normal. Volto sempre que posso. Recomendo.
