15/09/2024: Really nice food from a true and tried menu that has stayed constant over the years. The restaurant was family run years ago and was really nice personal and authentic. While we enjoyed the food, it now feels a bit industrial.

30/08/2024: Habitué de ce restaurant, j y ai emmené mes enfants et petits enfants . Pour le rapport qualité prix Mais aujourd hui il vaut mieux aller ailleurs pour le même prix Les prix avaient évolués avec l inflation 9€ en 2021 10.50€ en 2022 11€ en 2023 12€ en 2024 12,50€ en juin 2024 Et maintenant affiché 13,50€ et au moment de payer 15€ par personne car c est le soir et avec une carte qui n as plus rien avoir avec ce qu il y avait il y a encore un mois.. Très déçu par la qualité des plats et je ne parle même pas du vin , tiré du cubi et qui n as aucun gout. C est sure que les avis vont changés et que les notes aussi. J avais moi même écris un bel avis mais la , c’est terminé . Voila a trop vouloir faire de l argent au détriment de la qualité..

07/08/2024: Comida excelente, fomos duas vezes e em ambas as vezes o serviço foi excelente bem como a refeição, generosamente servidas, desde a raia alhada a carapaus fritos. Destaque para simpatia da família responsável do restaurante desde a excelente cozinheira à neta empregada. Ps. Provem a tarte de alfarroba não se vão arrepender

29/10/2024: C'était fermé un mardi ! Bizarrement , alors que c'était censé être ouvert selon TripAdvisor et le routard. Dès lors , un peu déçu.

01/10/2024: I seen this restaurant on trip advisor and it got great reviews so we thought it was worth a visit. We arrived and were shown to our table. We were given complimentary prosecco which was a very nice gesture. We ordered from the special board. I had the lamb and my husband had the cod they were delicious. The service was excellent, lovely restaurant. We had a reservation for another restaurant on Thursday as it’s my birthday so I cancelled it and we made a reservation for La Cabane. Definitely worth a visit.

27/09/2024: Had a lovely dinner here had the Portuguese steak which was lovely and really enjoyed our meal. Good extensive wine list also

05/11/2024: Excellent food and service as usual. We have been coming here for approx 12 years and service and food have never disappointed. Medallions of beef with prawns delicious, leg of lamb very tasty, lovely dessert from the trolley of temptation & very reasonably priced wine all followed by a little complimentary shot of house port. Will continue to be one of our favourites, thanks you Team Braganca Mar - enjoy your well deserved winter break.

07/10/2024: Went with friends for Sunday lunch ( not a first time). I have been met by bouncer who talked Portuguese with me, as I do look local with my sun-kissed skin. I answered in Portuguese that we have a table reserved. He didn’t let me in saying that I need to wait as they are a lot of people inside (?) Then my friend came out who was already at a table waiting for us and I could go in at last. That was strange. If we have a table booked at a certain time for sure it should be available and it was, so why would he want to keep me outside (?) Anyway no apology for misunderstanding was given. Non - stop music was very loud such as one can hardly hear a person next to him. Set menu was tasty, also I always find their fish cakes too rubbery. After main one of the staff ( not waiter) try to enhance a party atmosphere and stood on our table and give us a little dance. Not very hygienic. They usually encourage people to dance on the chairs. Not very safe especially when people are drunk. Tables are very close to each other and waiters keep bouncing to people chairs which is not a waiter fault. Restaurant obviously trying to maximise income and recently placed two tables on the stage. Small space left for bands is too crowded and doesn’t look great. Sorry, tried a few times but not my vibes.

07/09/2024: Top place! The decoration and the food takes you to Greece. Philippos and the staff always makes you feel at home. Not to be missed for sure!

24/08/2024: Restaurante com menu de degustação de comida tipica Grega, no entanto não surpreendeu tendo em conta o preço do menu = 38€ por pessoa (bebidas à parte). Avaliação final 6/10. O Sr. Garfo dá uma recomendação muito moderada.

11/10/2024: Restaurant ziet er chique uit. In no time alle tafels bezet en gezellig tafelen in gezelschap van verschillende culturen. Bediening zeer goed van een vrouw die goede opties bied zoals een lekker drankje. Goede kaart, veel keus. Jammer dat de opdiening per bord beter had gekund. Geen salade, beef stroganoff op het bord zoals je dit thuis zou doen. Smaak echter prima.. presentatie kan beter. Toetje crema Catalane rechtstreeks vanuit de supermarkt, heel jammer!

17/09/2024: had dinner here with fiancee i ordered croquettes then cod fillet, both nice dishes. my fiancee had the belly pork, she wasnt too keen on it as bit dry. also was served with salad (good) but also with home made crisps which we werent keen on. should be new pots or something
