01/10/2024: It was the worst customer service experience I've ever had to endure. I followed up through the hotel's website to give feedback and have not heard back from them which says it all. My husband and I popped by intending to enjoy an afternoon of cocktails to celebrate our anniversary. It was relatively busy, mostly with golfing groups, but plenty of staff working. The cocktail menu is extensive covering all the classics as well as a separate booklet of golf-themed drinks - all looked very promising. We ordered with the waitress and waited 10 minutes. The first drink (a small tumbler made up mostly of a giant ice block) arrived. No sign of the second drink. Five minutes or so pass and another waitstaff pops by to deliver the same cocktail again. I explain I've ordered a kir royale and he scurries off taking the drink with him. We wait about ten minutes before I flag down a waitress to enquire as to the whereabouts of my drink. Without any apology, she explains they have been unable to find any ingredients for the kir royale and asks if I would like to order another drink. I explained I'd been waiting a long time to be told this and that my husbands nearly finished his drink. Instead of any apology or sympathy, she smirked and simply asked again if I would like to order another drink. By this point, we were not in any mood to stay and paid for our single cocktail and left. The very least the bar could have done was offer something complimentary, although ideally they would have let us know about the issue before delivering the first solitary cocktail and I'd have happily changed my order. It doesn't seem that they care about any parties bar those who are there for golf. Incredibly unprofessional for a luxury resort bar.

14/09/2024: First impressions were really good…lovely modern contemporary restaurant. We had the chefs special. I had Caesar salad to start with and asked the waitress if it was a chicken Caesar? And she confirmed it was. When it came it was a boiled EGG Caesar salad! Can’t stand egg…so after picking it out, the rest of the salad was nice. Had a fish main with new potatoes in a cream sauce, which was tasty and a trio of chocolate mousse for dessert which was lovely. Over all the service was ok apart from one waiter who took plates away before all our party had finished. I finished off with a cosmopolitan cocktail, which was expensive and in a very small glass! I would return …just avoid the tiny expensive cocktails !

22/09/2024: Fomos jantar em família neste restaurante. Pedimos camarão com piri piri, amêijoas e sapateira, acompanhado de um vinho branco algarvio Arvad. Tudo muito fresco e delicioso. O senhor que nos atendeu foi extremamente simpático. Adoramos!

30/08/2024: Espaço simples e descontraído, com esplanada e funcionários simpáticos. Fui a uma sexta-feira ao almoço, comer arroz de lingueirão. Estava muito bom e a um preço acessível 9,50€! Recomendo!

19/08/2023: Muito bom! Só não dei 5 estrelas porque faltou alguma música ambiente . Mas aconselho sem dúvida. Atendimento top e comida boa! A bebida então sempre fresquinha seja álcool ou outras bebidas não alcoólicas!

07/10/2023: Comida muito boa, ambiente aconchegante, bom atendimento. Comemos vieiras e carpaccio como entrada e compartilhamos Massada de Tamboril. Com 1 fl. Vinho, 2 aguardentes e café expresso cerca de 70€.

03/10/2023: Pratos de peixe muito saborosos, atendimento simpático e atencioso, bastante movimentado, não deixe de fazer reserva, muito fácil via Google. Nós voltaremos.

03/10/2024: Wir hatten Hunger und wollten nicht lange suchen. Nun gut, der Kellner war sehr freundlich, aber auch sehr gestresst, obwohl das Restaurant ziemlich leer war. Die Frau und der Mann bestellen je einen gemischten Salat, welcher am Tisch aber nie ankommt. Die Spaghetti munden der Dame, das Porco Nero 'Secreto' stellt sich als drei ziemlich fette 'Speckschnitzel' mit Pommes, Reis und schwarzen Bohnen heraus. Na ja, es ist essbar, mehr nicht - kein Gaumenschmaus.

30/07/2024: Des tarifs très raisonnables, une équipe sympathique et en plus c'est bon. Petite salle agréable, climatisée... On a passé un bon moment.

05/10/2024: Top restaurant. Niet de gezelligste inrichting doch vriendelijke bediening en excellent vers eten! Heerlijk gegrilde steak peperroom en lamskoteletjes gegeten. Fles wijn erbij voor nog geen 10 euro.

05/09/2024: Os comentários têm como base dois jantares em família, composta por 4 pessoas. Restaurante com um grande salão de refeições, com decoração simples mas harmoniosa e com muita luz natural. O menu apresentado é bastante variado e completo, incluindo fotografias dos pratos e sobremesas. Empregados simpáticos e atenciosos. A comida é bem apresentada, bem confeccionada e saborosa. Os preços são razoáveis para a zona turística onde está inserido. 20€/pessoa sem vinho. Existe estacionamento gratuito nas redondezas. Recomendo vivamente!

17/09/2024: Definitely worth a try if you find yourself in loule! I have dined here before on quite a few occasions over the years! It’s popular with locals and tourists which is a great sign! My last visit was delightful, love the food, salads, chicken dishes ,and ample choice of beer and wine taboot! The staff were wonderful and friendly, a special Thank you to the lovely young lady from Venezuela who looked after us so well.

21/08/2024: Lekker eten, voordelig (eigenlijk onbegrijpelijk dat je zo veel lekker eten voor die prijs kan krijgen) vriendelijke bediening. Wij hadden o.a. de mixed grill en de kip piri piri, en niet te vergeten de lekkere appeltaart! De worstjes vonden we niet zo lekker, maar dat is persoonlijk. Ze waren wel goed. Aanrader!

01/11/2024: Grelhados de peixe acompanhados de salada "picadinha". Muito bom com preço ajustado à qualidade e serviço. Para repetir!

21/10/2024: Food was cooked as we ordered. However we were seated away from the bbq as he said its not good with so much smoke. So you can imagine when half way through our meal they seated a couple next to us who were constantly smoking cigarettes from the moment they sat down. Even as they were eating their meal. Other diners were more respectful and went outside the restaurant area to smoke. Firstly, shame on anyone so inconsiderate to smoke around other people at a dining table. Secondly when I paid the bill and asked if it was their policy to allow smoking at the table they replied "of course" When I said well I won't be back, he simply shrugged his shoulders and said OK. Would mot recommend based on this behaviour

29/08/2024: Não se percebe como num estabelecimento hoteleiro 5 estrelas permitem o funcionamento deste restaurante tão mal gerido e com uma cozinha de tão fraca qualidade. Pior, julgam-se tão bons ou superiores à concorrência na vizinhança que se permitem preços exorbitantes por refeições de tão pobre qualidade, quer da matéria-prima, quer da confeção. Péssimo! O local é excelente, mas só isso não justifica os preços cobrados. A falta de qualidade e profissionalismo corrige-se, mas vendo que nada foi feito no espaço de um ano, não acredito que algo mude para melhor. A inércia prevalecerá...

25/08/2024: Gorgeous looking restaurant but don’t be fooled by its appearance, the food and service here were terrible. Gripe 1: blackened pork main - plate absolutely swimming in oil. The meat wasn’t evenly cooked. Some parts tough and over cooked, other parts still very raw. Gripe 2: my partners dessert never arrived. Gripe 3: dessert (crepes) I was sharing this dessert with my son when we discovered a maggot on the underside of the crepe. We obviously were immediately turned off and couldn’t eat it. We brought this up with our server who didn’t apologise and didnt offer to replace the dish. She said she would inform the kitchen that this had been found but that was all that was said. To top it off this was also left on our bill so we paid for something we couldn’t eat. I couldn’t even make it back to our accommodation from the restaurant before having to find a toilet as a matter of urgency. This was possibly our most expensive meal while in the Algarve at just short of €200 for 2 adults and 2 children. Definitely not worth the money.
