28/08/2024: Pleasant surprise ! We fell there by chance and enjoyed the place ! It's not always easy to find a good pizza but no worries here ! I recommend it !
21/08/2024: Pizza war gut, eher wie ein Flammkuchenteig was somit nicht zu sehr den Magen stopft ;-)
Haben es zum mitnehmen bestellt, da man am besten vorher reservieren sollte!

12/10/2024: Bonne pâte à pizza bien que la dose des ingrédients sur celle-ci reste à revoir. Restaurant spacieux. Service sympathique mais temps d’attente beaucoup trop long. Ils font passer les livraisons avant les clients assis… dommage.
16/09/2024: Frequentavo la pizzeria Portobello ed era ottima in tutto solo i locali un pà angusti con il trasferimento nei nuovi locali oggi LUME' ho trovato il massimo del meglio che uno si può aspettare, ottima sistemazione, gentilezza, ottimo cibo, ottimo prezzo.

Restaurante Martucci

27/09/2024: If Madeira is one of the gems of the Atlantic, then Martucci is definitely one of the gems of Madeira. We heard about this place years ago and thought we’d try it and we were not disappointed - we have made it a regular call on our visits to Madeira since. Food always excellent and staff friendly and attentive. If you want top quality food, well presented and value for money, you’d be hard pressed to find better than this.

22/09/2024: We we recommended this restaurant and looking at the menu we booked for the last night of our holiday. We were not disappointed we opted for the €45 menu, which included starter, main course and dessert, all wine and water and coffee really good value. As everything is prepared to order there is a wait but it is well worth it, everything was perfectly cooked and was delicious. Neither of us had any complaints. The staff were very attentive and friendly even having a drink and a toast with us at the end of the meal. A great finish to a fabulous.

16/11/2024: Always a lovely welcome and great service. Never had a bad dish. The orange and duck risotto, chicken cannelloni, vegetable lasagne are all delicious. Salads, pizza are great too. Everything is cooked to order and always very tasty. Great value for money.
03/11/2024: Passed by many times , but it is was open people inside and we gave it a go. So pleased we did. Charming young female waitresses eager to help. Yes it's small and tables close together but we were there to eat and were not disappointed. I don't usually eat piazza, too stodgy too heavy. But converted after eating half my husband's generous portion with a lovely Caprese salad. We will return.

14/10/2024: Das Restaurant ist stets gut besucht, somit ist zur Hauptzeit mit Wartezeiten zu rechnen. Das Service ist aufmerksam und schnell. Das Essen war durchweg gut und die Portionen sind ausreichend wenn auch die Preise, vor allem für die Pizzen, eher hoch sind. Zum Dessert empfiehlt sich das hausgemachte Eis.
12/10/2024: Sat inside on a warm evening which was lucky as it started to rain but staff helped people sat outside to move under cover.
Bruschietta for starter was very tasty but a bit soggy, but I actually liked it that way. My seafood linguine was delicious, the sauce was lovely. My partners pizza was very tasty.
We drank the homemade lemonade and it was refreshing and tasty. Too full for desert but those around us were tucking in.
The waitress was very friendly and joked with us. We were not rushed by staff but the restaurant was quiet.

25/09/2024: Food is incredible and very generous portions. Fettuccine with shellfish was drowning in shellfish . Cannelloni bolognese with bacon & mushrooms likewise excellent and too big to finish. Ravioli Maison was divinely delicious. Location outside along the promenade was great, and a short stagger from our hotel :-)

Pizzeria Martucci

11/09/2024: Have often been in the Martucci restaurant next door but thought we would try the pizzeria. Food was excellent, reasonably priced and service was first class. The restaurant was very busy, but not overcrowded, which is usually a good sign. Will definitely return.
29/07/2024: We arrived slightly earlier than our booked time and were taken to our table straight away. We were greeted with a friendly smile by our first waiter.
We looked at the menu and ordered drinks within 5 minutes of sitting down. My other half is celiac and one of the reasons for our visit is that they accommodate GF, offering GF pizza.
We ordered our meals and asked for a few tweaks to be made, which they were happy to facilitate.
Food arrived promptly and was presented very well. We had a starter, main and a bottle of Prosecco. We were stuffed by the end and couldn’t manage a dessert but we opted for coffee.
We could not fault the food or service, we had a wonderful evening. We will be retuning to dine again.

02/08/2024: Hey, 5-whistle in my opinion is not an exaggeration! Food? Pizza is divine and when I ate I felt the sky in my mouth, I was so happy that I finally found such a good pizza. My aunt ate salad because she doesn't tolerate gluten... and she was still happy! The salad was wonderful! And I forgot to mention, pizza in this restaurant is much better than pizza in Italy!!! You can see that they put her heart into the cold...❤️🫶🏻 You ask, the drink is just as good, (orange juice) freshly squeezed very good, (drinks) the family liked it very much!!! And the waiters were nice, polite and always had a smile on their faces😝. I recommend dropping by and eating well. 🫶🏽🥰
12/07/2024: Beiden voor een pizza gekozen. Pizzabodem was lekker dun, beleg her en der wat karig, best wel grote randen en er 'dreef' te veel olie op de pizza. Tiramisu was top. Service erg vriendelijk.

04/10/2024: We were lucky to get a table here with no reservation - very busy place! We ordered a bottle of the Alentejo Red, bruschetta with tomatoes and the burrata salad to start - all very lovely. Mains Were the cacio e pepe and the l’amatriciana, again both delicious. Very laid back vibe. Outside tables benefit from the live music played further up the street, made it feel extra special.
29/09/2024: Na aankomst in ons hotel Porto Mare per ongeluk op dit restaurant gestuit. Dit bleek een schot in de rooste wezen na een lange dag van reizen. Super stijlvol en netjes, de old fasion en sangria waren heerlijk en de burrata met truffel en tamaat met olijf verrukkelijk. Al met al een heerlijk begin, korting via het hotel🙏🏽

04/04/2024: A pizza aqui é tão boa que tivemos que voltar alguns dias depois. Na segunda visita pedi o bife que vem cru na pedra quente, cozinhando na mesa - um excelente pedaço de carne, macio e suculento. A atmosfera é excelente, num local relativamente tranquilo junto à pequena igreja ou capela, a poucos passos da Fortaleza Amarela. Os servidores são a quantidade certa de curiosos. Altamente recomendado!
