15/12/2024: I had the chance to discover this restaurant, and I am absolutely won over! The place is warm, with a friendly atmosphere that invites you to relax. The staff is simply exceptional: smiling, attentive and of a rare kindness, they do everything to ensure that you have a pleasant time.
As for the food, it is divine! Each dish is an explosion of flavors, perfectly spiced and cooked with care. It is a true culinary journey that honors Indian cuisine.
A big congratulations to the whole team for this unforgettable experience. I recommend 100% and I will come back without hesitation.
12/12/2024: Fantastic Indian meal. Could not fault any of it.... authentic food made with fresh ingredients. My wife and I had poppadoms, starters, mains n nan with drinks and it only came to just over €50.

11/11/2024: Lovely meal, good service.
Ordered a Goan fish curry, which was tasty, but not over spicy, with tiny stripes of fresh ginger, cardamon and fresh coriander. My partner had the king prawn biryani, which he said was delicious.
Service was very good, and they do have a WC!
If we had read the reviews on here, we wouldn't have gone there, but we both had a lovely meal.
06/07/2024: The guy that served us was on mute nice top tho cool hair not as good as tenerife but we read the horrendous reviews and still came in and wasn't too bad if ur hungry. Would probs not come back but yeah sound

Pedi um karahi de frango, roti e uma refeição de hambúrguer de peixe
O karahi de frango tinha um sabor médio, na melhor das hipóteses, mas tinha um tamanho de porção decente. O hambúrguer de peixe era basicamente três dedos de peixe colocados em um pão com salada, o pão se desfez depois de dar algumas mordidas, bastante decepcionante, na verdade.
Teria dado 2 estrelas, mas dei uma extra por causa do serviço.

Chicken jalfrezi, lamb madras & lamb bhuna. It's all about the flavours in this restaurant.

14/05/2024: Started out really well, the chutney tray was great with loads of choices but the mains were just a bit bland with no spice or flavour and a bit too salty I'm sorry.
Garlic naan was really lovely but I ordered saag paneer and only got about 5 pieces of paneer, the sauce was quite bland despite asking for it madras hot. My husband asked for a chicken tikka madras and when they brought it out they said it was a chicken tikka masala so he checked with them because he ordered madras and the staff confirmed it was a madras but it looked very creamy and hardly any spice, again it tasted more salty than anything. Really wanted to enjoy it but I'm sorry it just wasn't for us.

19/11/2024: We visited Masala House 7 years ago and had the best Indian food in Portugal. we came back and after 7 years and many, many Indian meals in many Indian restaurants all over Portugal and Spain, we still declare Masala House to be the best. Authentic food, well prepared with generous portions and welcoming staff, what more could you ask for, perfect.
18/11/2024: We were in the area for just 5 days and nights, but we spent 2 of them at this restaurant as it was really good! Coming from Birmingham we know a good Indian/Asian restaurant when we see one - and this is definitely one. Extensive menu, very welcoming, great food and not badly priced, we even recommend to others at our hotel and they enjoyed more than one evening there as well. We would most certainly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning when we are next in the area.

Curry House Indian Tandoori Restaurant

09/10/2024: Good standard fare curry house. We always visit when on holiday in the area but this year for some reason the curries we had were a little watery and not as tasty previously but adequate rather than excellent. Service was very good and attentive and prices were reasonable.
29/09/2024: Been going here for years. The food is top notch. Unfortunately I can't review the food as we did not get any. We went in this evening 29/09/2024. Requested a table near the door as it was still quite warm outside. The waiter did not want to give us our choice and wanted us to sit at the back. I asked if it had been reserved and he just mumbled something and told us to sit down. He gave us menus and walked away. 15 minutes later he had walked past at least 4 times but just ignored us and did not even take our drinks order. Does not matter what kind of day he was having there is no excuse for treating customers like this, we got up and left and will not return. Went to charminar restaurant instead and had a stunning meal with POLITE and helpful staff, top rate

10/06/2024: Lovely ambience, spotlessly clean. Such friendly and helpful staff especially with dietary requirements(no request too difficult)Absolutely delicious food 😋 service and quality of food and service was excellent. Such value for money. We would highly recommend it.

15/09/2024: We found this restaurant after eating elsewhere and immediately booked a table for the night after. The restaurant is small, almost cramped, so reserving a table makes sense. The food and the service were very good. This is how vegetarian ( or vegan) food should be. We loved the photos of each dish as a help to choosing. The hotness of the dishes was just what we wanted. Thank you for a pleasant evening.
