16/03/2025: We absolutely loved Muralha Terrace. The food was incredible including freshly caught fish and seafood. The restaurant has a very welcoming feeling and the staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend dinning at this top notch restaurant.

02/06/2025: Um pequeno restaurante encantador com vistas deslumbrantes, o lugar perfeito para uma refeição rápida durante uma visita a esta parte da ilha. Os preços eram razoáveis, mas um pouco caros para um prato principal, mas a comida estava absolutamente deliciosa! O serviço também foi bom, então recomendo!

Restaurante Espelho Do Mar - O Arado

21/04/2025: Montemor-o-Novo ist recht verschlafen und so ist es auch nicht ganz einfach das "O Arado" außerhalb des Orts auf einer Anhöhe, versteckt seitlich der Wallfahrtskirche "Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Visitação" zu finden.
Der Service war von erheiternder Ruppigkeit, man wird beim "Empfang" zunächst gefragt, ob man überhaupt portugiesisch verstehe (um dann doch ohne Umschweif eine englische Speisekarte zu erhalten).
Sodann muss man - wie zu guten DDR-Zeiten - in Angesicht eines leeren Speisesaals warten bis man dann doch huldvoll einen Platz angewiesen erhält.
Das Lokal erfährt auch später keine weiteren Gäste bis auf zwei graumelierte örtliche Honoratioren, die sich an einen Tisch mit zwei weiteren Herren setzen und selbstverständlich erfordert dieser Honoratiorentisch erste Aufmerksamkeit vor uns zwei hereingeschneiten Durchreisenden.
Gleichwie, trotz insgesamt nur drei besetzten Tischen, entfaltet der Ober souverän hektische Betriebsamkeit wie in einem Flughafen-Take-Away. Mit der Zeit jedoch, es gab ja auch nichts mehr zu tun, taute er nach und nach ein wenig auf.
Nicht zuletzt: das Speiseangebot war auch in Ordnung.
05/03/2025: Como dá pra ver na foto, o Polvo estava extremamente cozido e tudo frio. Quando questionei se era polvo, ou pota, afirmaram que era polvo. Mas como está tão cozido nem dá pra perceber. O cozinheiro apareceu na mesa a falar muito alto afirmar que era polvo. Começou por perguntar quem das 3 raparigas tinha dito que não era polvo, mas eu falei que já nos tinham confirmado que era polvo. Na qual , o cozinheiro continua a falar alto a dizer que era polvo e que não servia Pota. Tudo isto com um tom de agressividade e má educação. Virou costas e nem ouviu o que queríamos dizer.
