Als voorgerecht namen wij het traditionele, overheerlijke knoflookbrood (bolo do caco) en de garnalen in knoflooksaus.
Daarna kozen wij de langzaam gegaarde varkenswangetjes en de spicy Aziatische garnalen-/groentencurry.
Alles vers bereid, heel lekker!
De bediening was super vriendelijk en erg gastvrij. Het sfeervol ingerichte restaurant heeft een groot terras met uitzicht op zee.
Prijs-/kwaliteit verhouding klopt.
Kortom: een aanrader!
Having seen a good review for this restaurant in our apartment we thought we would go there for lunch. First impressions of the building was disappointing as the restaurant is the top floor of a concrete car park. However, once in the restaurant worries dissappear as your tables look out to sea with an uninterrupted view.
The service was excellent, in particular Vitor was attentive and very helpful. Both our starters and main courses were delicious. We had freshly caught fish of the day, cooked perfectly.
Price wise it was not cheap, but in our opinion worth it.
Next time we are staying at Cabo Girao we will return.
