09/09/2024: Heerlijke cataplana visschotel gegeten met zijn tweetjes. Super smakelijk. Met een schaaltje brood om te soppen in de heerlijke visjus heb je een perfecte maaltijd.

05/10/2024: We’ve been in Portugal for two weeks now and nowhere had food as tasty as here at Bonega bar. In my experience, restaurants on A locations have mediocre food at best. Not this one! Good burger, very tasty chicken breast and crunchy and moist chicken nuggets. Best of all; they have good fries! Up untill now we only encountered light and very undercooked fries, ar Bonega bar the fries were awesome.

02/10/2024: Mm mm just wondering why we can’t get as amazing food and service in the uk , something very special about this place , no faults with added bonus of the view , mind you I think this place be pretty attractive looking over Garth road tip . Loved it been twice , highly recommend

15/09/2024: Pleasantly surprised at the quality of our meal. We ordered sea bream, which was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The meal-size salad was also excellent. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Great location. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Will return again before tomorrow!

08/09/2024: 1 Pessimo,as lulas não foram hijienisadas, as suas entranhas enchrao me o prato de matéria gelatinosa. Só me apetecia vomitar. Quando questiono os empregados dizem que é normal e aceita o o não pagamento. A mesma situação em mais três mesas. É inadmissível.Nen tive coragem de tirar fotos.

09/03/2024: Restaurante típico português, peixe delicioso, preparado na hora na grelha a carvão! Ambiente agradável, ao ar livre no cais quando o tempo está bom, serviço amigável, melhor relação preço/desempenho 👍🏻 Nós recomendamos.

14/12/2023: Barrega de Atum grelhada no topo, o bacalhau também estava bom. A salada foi cobrada à parte, algo que não conheço em Portugal.

18/09/2024: Nous sommes venus pour manger une cataplana.Elle était délicieuse et très bien servie.Salade de thon,excellente aussi.Par contre ceux qui ont choisi picanha,ont été déçus car la viande n' était pas bonne.Je vous conseille de ne prendre que du poisson.le service était attentif et très agréable.

27/03/2024: Obrigado pela recepção calorosa do Paolo, do Emmanuel e de toda a sua equipa. Almoçamos lá duas vezes. Excelente restaurante tipicamente português, divertimo-nos imenso!! O frango com piri piri é excelente assim como a sopa de peixe, o borrego costeletas e costelas grelhadas, as porções são generosas. Um grande obrigado a todos pela simpatia, bom humor e sem stress, voltaremos com muito prazer para descobrir outras especialidades do vosso menu. Até breve Joaquim e Isabelle

25/03/2024: Serviço incrível, funcionários mais simpáticos de todos os tempos, sempre fazendo piadas, sempre nos verificando enquanto comíamos. O vinho de cortesia era tão bom e doce que tive que comprar a garrafa para levar para casa. (Se vires este pessoal do Restaurante Olhos De Água, adoramos-te, voltaremos. Obrigado)

27/10/2024: Stopped here for Brunch & I had a well cooked Ham Omelette with Chips while my wife had a Ham & Cheese Toastie with Coffee. Service was prompt and very clean. Staff were pleasant & I would return

25/10/2024: lovely restaurant on the corner on the strip, we ate outside as it was a lovely night, the staff very chatty and friendly, the food was good really enjoyed it. price was good too. one of the staff members hailed a taxi for us when we were ready to leave which was really nice of him :) thank you

22/10/2024: We did not actually eat here. We made a reservation for a patio table weeks ago, for 2 people. We checked earlier in the day and the reservation was for inside so we asked to have things updated to reflect our preference, which was done. But the hostess indicated we had not asked to be “outside”. Ok, that is fine - communication can be misinterpreted. But, when we arrived at the appointed time, about 4 staff members simply walked by with no acknowledgment that we or others were waiting. When we were led to our table, it was crammed between others, so we asked to be moved to one with a better location and view. The waiter raised his voice to us telling us that we couldn’t move and to sit back down at the assigned table. The table we preferred was reserved for someone else. Oh my gosh, all the staff were so surly and rude, we just left the restaurant. When we came by a half hour later while walking on the beach, the table we wanted was still empty. We get it…..you cannot always just pick a nicer table. But the communication was horrible and rude. We ate at our resort instead where staff were pleasant and seemed to want our business. I would not recommend this restaurant. It has a captive audience, being one of only 2 right on the beach. I would recommend heading up to the BELMAR Resort instead - staff are friendly and food is good.

22/10/2024: Absolutely 5 star , staff were amazing and the food was superb, can’t wait to return ! Have actually booked for a sunset meal this evening ! Seafood beautifully cooked , amazing wine and a dessert menu to die for xx

22/09/2024: É um agradável sitio para refeições em frente à marina de Vila Real de Santo António. Confirme que têm o ticket refeições, porque o proprietário não queria apresentar a máquina correta!!

14/09/2024: A lovely restaurant we ate in on our last evening here. Both outside and inside seating is lovely. A fine menu but we ate the rice with seafood which was fantastic but it takes up to one hour to make as it is all made freshly to order (you can book a table and pre-order it in advance). Amazing dish with (not limited to) clams, mussels, prawns, cockles and lovely rice in a bisque style broth. I would love to go back as the whole experience was great !

30/09/2024: Um restaurante mais local, com atendimento 6* e comida deliciosa. Comemos umas lapas, alcatra e o polvo guisado a maneira da Terceira e estava tudo divinal, bem confecionado. Fomos recomendados a experiementar o xico por outro restaurante, e valeu a pena. Voltamos numa próxima

23/09/2024: Ce restaurant nous a été recommandé par un habitant, il sert de la nourriture locale de très bonne qualité et peu chère. À noter qu’il faut réserver le soir car complet.
