21/10/2024: What a fantastic meal! We had a set meal which included several courses and wine pairing. The food was delicious and really well prepared and the atmosphere was lovely. As were the owners. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

21/10/2024: When visiting Funchal,you must make a point to dine here. The food , wine and service is amazing. Will definitely visit again and again.

27/11/2024: New ownerr new staff,. Service overlooking despite the almost empty restaurant. Foie gras: 4 tiny pieces of maybe duck liver. Sea bass: dry, overdone Passion fruit wasnt Soufflé but two bisquits with cheese between. No reason to return any more

03/11/2024: Vaya. Fuimos aquí dos veces durante nuestra reciente estancia. Una de las visitas fue por nuestro 40 aniversario de boda. Las mejores comidas que tuvimos en nuestra visita. Encantador escenario. La calidad de la comida era excelente. Todo el personal era amable y servicial. Sital Dahl nos recibió en ambas ocasiones y fue muy amable y profesional. Gracias a todos.

24/10/2024: We had a good experience here many years ago and decided to try it again as a Madeiran Menu was on offer at a reasonable price. Our tomato soup with egg was so tasty and absolutely delicious, followed by scabbard fish with banana (didn't think the flavours would mix, but I was wrong) and then passionfruit ice cream which was handmade by the waiter (we were sat outside and we could view the process through the window). The waiter was a delightful, helpful young guy but I didn't get his name - well done anyway!

20/10/2024: Le restaurant reflète parfaitement sa devise : 'Le luxe, c'est de se faire plaisir avec des choses simples'. Chaque plat est préparé minute avec des produits frais, et la présentation dans une vaisselle soignée ajoute une touche élégante. Le personnel est d'une grande amabilité, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent, et la magnifique fresque en salle ajoute un charme unique à l'endroit. Pour couronner le tout, la terrasse offre une vue splendide sur les majestueux jacarandas aux teintes bleutées. Un endroit à découvrir sans hésitation !
