A group of 11 descended (had not long arrived in portugal); the owner was fantastic accommodating us. As the vegetarian I was prepared to have just chips but had the most delicious veggie burger. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the meal so much so that we had a takeout from there later in the holiday.
05/06/2024: Can’t recommend this place enough! The burger is delicious, the bun so light and airy! The chips are lush and the pot of sauce that it comes with is so tasty! The service is excellent, so friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend 🩷

31/08/2024: Realmente muito bom! Estávamos aqui na hora do almoço e o lugar encheu rapidamente. Não só os “pratos principais” eram deliciosos, mas as tapas também eram um sonho. A equipe foi muito simpática e tanto a comida quanto as bebidas nos foram trazidas rapidamente. Definitivamente vale a pena uma visita. Uma reserva faria sentido.
23/08/2024: Estava tudo muito gostoso, pudemos até comer dentro de casa com nosso cachorro. A única coisa ruim é que comemos bem e são mini porções, é bom petiscar alguma coisa ou tomar uma bebida, o lugar é muito legal.

30/09/2024: We called in here for dinner during our vacation in Villamoura and bot a wonderful suprise. We were offered the all you can eat buffet for €18 per head. We had a mixed starter for 2 followed by wan ton soup and mains of sweet 'n sour pork and noodles with 4 delicious meats. We had fried rice to accompany and could have had as much to eat as you wanted. We had 2 x Chinese beers and a desert all for a very reasonable €49. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

19/09/2024: Tolerable food although not very authentic, but very indifferent attitude/service. No single person served us throughout and the
Manager seemed disconnected when we paid the bill. Customers treated like a rotation of consumers.

14/08/2024: A melhor carne de Faro, daí a reserva recomendada. Excelente equipe e bonomia, e configuração razoável. Péssima localização na movimentada EN125 com estacionamento mínimo que não é perigoso, então chegue cedo. Deve ser um sonho do Uber/Bolt, mas tenha pena dos motoristas!

25/09/2024: Lovely chilled atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is ok, nothing wrong with it but nothing special either, portion size is fine. Biggest disappointment was our cocktails, far too much sugar was in them making them sickly sweet.
18/09/2024: What a wonderful place - had a great day with family and friends. Food excellent - staff very good. The small beachy area by the lake perfect for the grand children. A very relaxing afternoon.

23/09/2024: This is a small local restaurant tucked in the back of Vilamoura.Very busy at lunchtime with tables pre booked, Walked in, second visit, food great, excellent value with snacks and authentic food.Small swimming pool area( not seen used)gear place for lunch or dinner if you want to be away from the glitz and expense of the marina would recommend and will re visit

03/10/2024: Food was outstanding just as good as being in Italy. Very clean restaurant, lovely friendly staff. I just couldn’t fault it and will be back again to sample more off the delicious menu.
01/10/2024: We always visit this restaurant every time we visit quarteria. My husband and I had a salad, Focaccia bread with mozzarella and a mushroom risotto to share, everything was so tasty. Great service will be back soon.

21/09/2024: What a wonderful restaurant. The service was friendly and exemplary in all respects and all the staff were knowledgeable about the menu. The range of dishes made choices difficult and every one we had was perfect. A terrific combination of flavours and sensible portions. Great value for money.
18/09/2024: We have been to Amara on a few different occasions now. But each time it gets better and better! The service is second to non, value for money, wine pairing excellent (really well performed) & the food if gorgeous

28/09/2024: We would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The menu is extensive and each of our courses excellent. A very good selection and all tastes catered for. Very well priced and very popular. To avoid disappointment, we would recommend that you book. It was also very clear that a number of guests were local, always a good sign, and also repeat guests who had been before. The service was perfect and very reasonably priced. Excellent and thank you.

02/10/2024: Had a lovely dinner - the fish was well cooked and fresh, very tasty. The complimentary port at the end also went down a treat. Would recommend.
28/09/2024: Lunched here Wed & had the turbot, it was so good, we returned Fri eve & had the same! Was such a treat to have such a decadent fish & cooked so perfectly on the charcoal grill giving it a lovely flavour. Such a wonderful find & such lovely & attentive staff too looking after us, Hafia, Zeca & Manuel (hoping I have spelt these correctly!). Thank you for such a joyous experience, 5*. Katherine & Steve
