04/10/2024: Only discovered this fabulous Chinese restaurant 2 years ago but it's now a must go to place every time we're in Carvoeiro. Fantastic food and service and excellent value for money.

17/06/2024: Very ordinary chinese meal, like you can get at Home. Nothing special about it. We had duck and Chicken, which was very ordinary.

07/10/2024: Food acceptable. Service awful. Meals delivered on very dark table. Could not see food. No one came to ask if meals ok, even when taking plates away. When asking for the bill I commented that no one had asked how the meal was. Waitress asked then - sarcastically. I said Piri piri chicken hardly any spice. Waitress then said I was only after a discount. Food ok at best. Service terrible.

20/08/2024: I had read the reviews that were not great but we stumbled across the restaurant and I have to say it was really great, family of six for 126 euros was cheap. Service was ok and quite fast although there was only two on duty. Food tasted great, chicken kebab was very good.

23/09/2024: I'm afraid I was disappointed. Food was average - nothing special, in my view - but the most expensive (by item) that we have had in the last 10 days. I was very disappointed to learn - on arrival, no pre-warning - that they do not take card payment and haven't done for "a few months'. Despite having to reserve a table, and being asked to confirm the reservation on the day, nobody thought to mention that it's 'cash only' before we had sat down and started to look at the menu. What made it ok, in the view of the staff, was that there is a cash machine right next door. Plenty of opportunity to warn us to take cash beforehand. Poor management. I'm afraid this restaurant does not live up to the hype it has built up around itself.

20/09/2024: We are a party of 4 and all looked forward to our steak fix. The menu offers good variety and we ordered rib eye and also t-bone along with sauces, chips and veg. The steaks are good quality but there was little seasoning added to the cooking. A good steak chef knows that seasoning is the key. Otherwise you just get a slab of meat. It all tasted fine and we ate it up. The price however is on the high side. For 4 x persons main courses, 2 x desserts and some wine it cost over €250.

17/08/2024: Great authentic Portuguese style cuisine and all offered at excellent value. Hosts were friendly and provided wonderful hospitality. There courtyard is a good, clean and quite unique environment.

01/04/2024: Garçons muito atenciosos e prestativos. Rodicio muito delicioso embora com pouca variedade de cortes. Buffet de saladas e outros tipos de entradas incluídas.

30/03/2024: Nós comemos aqui em duas noites. A comida indiana era muito saborosa e a pizza também. A equipe é muito calorosa e você se sente totalmente em casa no restaurante.

14/09/2024: DIVINAL! Petiscos extremamente bem confecionados e o bife na tábua simplesmente fantástico, quer na apresentação do prato quer no sabor! Atendimento extremamente simpático, espaço muito acolhedor e só lamento ter conhecido agora esta casa . Vai ficar no topo da minha lista!

30/08/2024: Locale alla mano e accogliente. Cibo ottimo, dei 4 petiscos assaggiati non saprei dire quale fosse il più buono, erano tutti squisiti! Assaggiato anche il dolce locale, su suggerimento, da molto apprezzato, del proprietario, che è una persona piacevolissima e gentile.

29/06/2024: Ive visited Japan many times and eaten in many different venues. This turned out to be better. It has the technical Japanese approach but sprinkled with Portuguese love -what could be better. And the service staff sang me Happy Birthday :)

01/09/2024: As a family we always come to this wonderful restaurant every time we arrive and more during our stay in Carvoeiro. The food, personal service, dining area and atmosphere are wonderful. The food is fabulous particularly the prosciutto pizza, with the perfectly made thin crispy base, delicious tomato sauce and mozzarella is delicious, best pizza I have ever had. The pasta dishes are lovely and totally authentic, the spaghetti fruit de mere is outstanding absolutely loved it. Dessert is exceptional and the ginger and lime cheesecake is to die for. This place is the perfect Italian pizza and pasta restaurant, do not miss it while in Carvoeiro!

20/07/2024: Geweldig lekker eten, super ambiance met uitzicht op zee, aardige bediening en mooi restaurant interieur. Eten echt helemaal TOP! Kan niet kiezen maar uiteindelijk noem ik dan toch het dessert…wat zaalig! Aan een tafel voor ons werden tapas live aan tafel bereid (iets met worst) zag er ook heerlijk uit. En dan totslot, onverwacht want dat gaat zelden goed: live muziek!! Topavond dank jullie wel

30/03/2024: Tivemos uma excelente refeição em família (pizza) e os funcionários foram simpáticos e atenciosos. Bom valor para o dinheiro.

06/03/2024: Comida de sabor médio. Nada que você não possa fazer sozinho em casa. Fomos as únicas pessoas no restaurante por um curto período de tempo e estávamos sentados na esquina, fora do local, por algum motivo. Em nenhum momento o garçom nos perguntou se nossa comida e se estava tudo bem. A Vege Pizza tinha muitas coberturas, então ficou encharcada e não estava particularmente quente, pois foi servida em um prato frio. Carbonara estava quente, embora também fosse servido em uma tigela fria. Saímos sem deixar gorjeta e não voltaremos. Não sei por que alguém aqui disse que veio aqui três vezes, realmente não vale a pena.
