19/07/2024: Mi novio y yo asistimos al restaurante después de leer las otras críticas brillantes. No teníamos un coche y necesitábamos algo a poca distancia. Vinimos aquí en nuestra primera noche y no decepcionó. El menú tenía tantas opciones frescas y sabrosas para elegir. Los propietarios eran muy agradables y fueron amablemente capaces de traducir el tablero de ofertas para nosotros. ¡Fue difícil elegir un plato! La sangría blanca fue la mejor que he probado con tantas frutas increíbles dentro. El servicio era increíble y todo sobre él era auténtico. Muchas gracias 😊

27/10/2024: Mala comida. El filete era tan duro que pensarías que te comes tu propia suela de zapato. Llamar la atención del personal es un ejercicio en sí mismo. Mierda.

11/10/2024: Encantador almuerzo aquí esta semana, el ambiente en la terraza es muy tranquilo y los vinos de la casa son muy buenos. El entrante de queso de cabra y miel era fabuloso y el pescado en el menú estaba todo cocinado y presentado bien, un lugar lindo para parejas.

11/12/2024: This place is a must if you are visiting Alvor. It is away from the Main Street where a lot of the more touristy restaurants are located but so worth seeking out. I would recommend booking as it was busy even on a weekday in December. The food is superb, a great selection on the menu and what we had was great quality and beautifully presented. We shared a board of anti pasti which was served with a lovely selection of breads and then the lamb chops, followed by homemade chocolate mousse. We asked for a wine recommendation which was also spot on. The staff are so friendly, efficient and helpful, there is nothing not to like. We’ll be back, in fact in three days time !

05/12/2024: Restaurante acolhedor, sinceramente cada vez que vou sinto me em casa e com vontade de voltar logo no dia a seguir, agradecer a todo o staff sempre muito atencioso e nunca deixa falar nada, comida de chorar por mais, dos melhores resultados no Algarve, mt obrigado 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼❤️

09/11/2024: Ni idea de lo que le pasó a este lugar anoche. El servicio era increíblemente lento e inútil. Mientras esperábamos pacientemente a que llegaran los aperitivos recibimos la primera señal de advertencia. Un hombre en la mesa de al lado preguntó muy gruñón «¿cuándo voy a conseguir algo de comida?». . Nuestras bebidas finalmente llegaron, pero 1 hora después de que habíamos llegado no había señales de comida ... más extraño aún dado que el lugar estaba casi vacío. Después de varias peticiones de camarero llegaron los entrantes. De nuevo una larga espera y luego llegó el ‘arroz de pez monje’ pero fue Cataplana. . Rápidamente se llevó y se dio a otra mesa antes de ser devuelto a la cocina ... claramente tampoco su pedido. 2 La lubina llegó correctamente y luego 5 minutos después ‘otra’ entrega, pero todavía era Cataplana no el arroz Monkfish pedido. Fue llevado de vuelta a la cocina, pero luego nos dijeron que el pez monje ordenado sería de 40 minutos... Le dijimos al camarero que cancelara el pedido, terminamos el ok lubina y nos fuimos a otro restaurante a por el postre. Una comida horrible. El camarero no tenía ni idea de cuál era el problema en la cocina. ¡Un verdadero evento de 'Fawlty Towers'!

29/10/2024: Fuimos a cenar aquí y lo pasamos muy bien, la comida era deliciosa y el personal era amable y servicial. Sin duda recomiendo para la comida portuguesa adecuada

03/11/2024: Wow - had been recommended by the owner/friend we had rented our apartment for the week from that this place was the “best steak in town”. It is - and so much more ! Arriving mid-way through the second half of the semi final that England rugby so nearly beat South Africa and to watch it with 90% green jersied South Africans was great fun. The similarly attired but also face-painted waiters and waitresses were excellent at refilling the glasses and the standard fare for the evening (meat or fish platter) were superb and great value. Once the game was lost the “springboks” started to flow (crème de menthe and Baileys - basically a green “Baby Guinness” !) Went back in for dinner Monday night and it was rammed so we booked for Tuesday night and again it was superb. The mussels starter was stunning, the mid-range Pinotage wine delicious and (for me) the Carpetbagger - a fillet stuffed with cheese, Tabasco and mussels was divine. The other 4 also loved their steaks etc and desserts were good too - had the Peppermint and am now struggling to decide later whether I have that again or the syrup sponge after tonight’s 24 hour pre-ordered Seafood Platter to share. Really looking forward to that tonight and we have also booked for Friday night too ! Food and drink is all top notch and the staff are all very well trained and do a great job. Cannot recommend highly enough and booking seems to be a must ???

01/11/2024: Detta var verkligen en av de värsta haken i Luz. Dålig service och de anställda var uppkäftiga. De spillde vin överallt och maten var inte den bästa, jag beställde peppar sås istäcket för ostsås men så blandar de båda såserna. 1/5 för min del, tyvärr kan man inte ge lägre betyg. Zazoo är ett bättre alternativ.

19/09/2024: Este café en Quateira es absolutamente brillante. Tiene una amplia selección de zumos recién creados, batidos, opciones de brunch y bebidas - alimentos realmente saludables, imaginativos, excepcionalmente frescos. Es difícil encontrar algo así en esta zona. El personal es amable y servicial. Soy intolerante a los lácteos y al gluten, pero había masas de elección - sugirieron un plato de tapioca con huevo, avo, espárragos, remolacha, y mucho más - delicioso. Todo muy limpio, bien - precio y en una calle tranquila y céntrica.

26/08/2024: He visitado este lugar varias veces, y se ha convertido en mi lugar favorito en Querteria para el desayuno y el almuerzo. Los tazones de açaí son los mejores que he probado, y la tapioca, especialmente la opción vegana, es deliciosa. Como alguien con enfermedad celíaca, aprecio que casi todo en el menú es gluten - libre. Las tortitas sin gluten son fantásticas, y a mi amiga le encantaron los huevos que Benedict pidió. Los cruasanes fueron otro éxito con mi amigo. El café y los zumos son consistentemente excelentes, y el personal es siempre amable y acogedor. Si usted disfruta de comida saludable, deliciosa y asequible con un servicio excepcional, definitivamente debe agregar este lugar a su lista. La hermosa terraza es solo la cereza en la parte superior. ¡Gracias, Jungle Juice! < 3

30/08/2024: Boa comida, atendimento simpático e até ligeiramente rápido, atendendo à altura do mês e excessiva procura. Pizzas muito saborosas, sobretudo para quem aprecia a massa fina. A repetir e recomendar.

26/08/2024: Arrived here after a long journey. We stopped at this little place and to our surprise it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were efficient and friendly. We returned to find the experience even better. Forget your fancy, expensive Italian restaurants, this little gem is outstanding!

03/07/2024: Un accueil au top malgré l’heure tardive. Sourire et gentillesse étaient au rdv. Nous reviendrons de nouveau durant notre séjour.

20/06/2024: Muito desiludida, encomendei no globo duas doses de frango com batata e arroz. Nem chegou para comer duas pessoas. O frango só tinha ossos e a dose de batata parecia de uma dose da restaurante gurme😂. Nada satisfeita...

06/10/2024: Chrissy’s is our “Go To” restaurant. We have been on many occasions for both lunch and dinner and always enjoy the food as well as Pedro and his staff. Had dinner there 2 nights ago. It is a fixed price for 2 or 3 courses and includes the couvert, water and wine. We both had the “Specials” starting with excellent spicey prawns followed by filets of seabass and then (my weakness!) ice cream with hot chocolate sauce. House wine was a very drinkable red from Lisboa. The service is relaxed and friendly. Yes, we will be returning.

03/10/2024: Recommended to us. Well presented fabulous food. Great idea to have set prices for how many courses you want. Superb value. Lovely setting with attentive service. Glad we went and will definitely return.

30/11/2024: I had the most delightful experience at Bollywood restaurant. The moment I walked in, the warm aroma of spices transported me straight to India. The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The owner was very nice and flexible in accommodating all dietary restrictions. The food was simply outstanding—every dish was a masterpiece. The paneer tikka masala was rich and creamy, with just the right balance of spices, while the garlic naan was soft and perfectly baked. Their dal was flavorful, aromatic, and served in generous portions. We went another day and the owner made aloo parathas for us which was not even in the menu. The tawa parathas were so delicious and took me back to India. To top it all off, the presentation was exquisite, and the ambiance was cozy and authentic. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Indian dining experience in Portugal. Can’t wait to come back!

20/08/2024: Já é há muitos anos o nosso restaurante de eleição quando vamos para a Oura. Comida muito bem confecionada e com os sabores algarvios. Ameijoas à bolhão pato maravilhosas e peixe sempre fresco. O atum é sempre uma escolha! Vamos lá quase todos os dias! A juntar a tudo isto temos a simpatia dos funcionários e da querida D. Paula! A voltar sempre! Recomendo vivamente!
