Termas da Ferraria em Ponta Delgada

This is a thermal pool with a building attached that has a cafe and washrooms. You have to buy a ticket for the thermal pool and in order to use the washrooms. I wouldn't pay for this experience as there's many other places that are free that are a more unique experience. If you walk to the left of the building and over the lava rocks, you will get to the inlet that has warmer thermal water that mixes with the cold Atlantic Ocean water. There is no cost for this and there is a lifeguard on hand. Make sure you wear sturdy shoes over the rocks and be careful going down the ladder into the water. Both can be ankle breakers. Once in the water, it is a unique experience to swim in the water with that view around you.
